Replacing Dell Monitor

I'd wanted to replace a dead Dell monitor w/another Dell.
Since I'd been w/o a monitor/internet access for several weeks this one seemed to fit the bill.
After checking further I was able to find a very similar model online for less than half the price.
I returned it in favor of purchasing the lower priced model.

Decent Monitor, Do not buy from Best Buy

The monitor itself is good. Dell as a company is excellent. Best Buy completely screwed me as I bought 2 of these monitors and 1 of them started giving me issues. Best Buy's customer support set me up with an appointment assuring me that they'll be able to fix it. I get to the Best Buy which is over an hour away from me (they knew this over the phone) and the store turned me away. When I called back, they said there isn't anything they can do. If there wasn't anything they could have done then it would have been nice to know that BEFORE I had to drive to the store.

Ouch, my eyes

Even on minimum brightness this thing killed my eyes and lit up my room at night like a nuclear power plant. Mine had ZERO back light bleed and ZERO IPS glow. Colors were very punchy. More punchy than what I normally see with monitors.
This monitor has a lot of bad going for it. Overdrive settings did nothing at all from what I can tell over HDMI. There was ghosting on all settings and test UFO nothing changes. This was with two units so it wasn't a defect. With how bright it gets, motion handling, and super saturated colors this is not a monitor that is easy on the eyes. If you have astigmatism you will most likely get motion sick, headaches, dry eyes, etc. I can't recommend this Monitor even for just went browsing. Even looking through some user reviews people have reported the problems listed above.
