The 24 inch S2425H monitor from Dell right out of its box looks great, it has a matte finish on the screen and the back as well as the frame looks professional due to its good looking color and finish. Most of our monitors are black but we do like the color and finish of this one more between white and gray. It is easy to assemble and get it to work; it only took a few minutes to put it together. I do like that it comes with two HDMI connections so I can use it with different devices. Another thing that I do like is the speakers, it does sound better than expected due to the 5 watt speakers. And to be able to switch between the modes, standard, movie, game, music, voice and customizable is also easy. It also comes with color presets, movie, FPS, RTS, RPG, Warm, Cool and custom. To do all the customization as well as switching audio and color presets its easy to do with the joystick that its right behind the monitor and can be reached from below too. Another big plus is the reduction of blue light, since we spend a long time during the day on the screen, I feel more comfortable now with this monitor. The refresh rate is 100Hz and I can tell the difference between the 60Hz that I had and this one. As for the colors, we can also tell the difference, I edit photos and videos and having good colors on the screen is a must and the Dell delivers. Something else I do not see but I know Dell has done with this monitor is include sustainable materials using some recycled materials and the packaging did not include hard plastic and it is recyclable. We do not need the security lock slot but it is nice to have one in case you need it. Overall it is a great Dell monitor, it offers awesome colors, contrast and sound. It easily can be viewed horizontally as well as vertically.

Good purchase for the price. The monitor is slim, easy to configure and the image quality is very decent. I have it connected to 2 different devices and it's easy to switch. The built-in speakers, for what they are, are loud and crispy clear. Has good cable management too.

The Dell 24" IPS Monitor is the perfect entry level monitor for the casual gamer or visual artist out there, looking to upgrade their set up all without breaking the bank. Well it does have a lot to offer there are some very minor things to take note of as well. The first thing i noticed out of the box was its beautiful and simplistic style and color. This is a must have monitor for this going with a all white gaming rig build. It will 100% complement your set up nicely. Minor note worthy feature to make mention of was its subtle but well done cable management set up. Most monitors do not allow for assist with cable management and it drives me nuts. The Dell 24" Monitor comes with a cable hook and detachable compartment doors allowing for subtle discretion of your cables all while blending in perfectly with the ascetics. Dell also provides access to give you the ability to wall mount your monitor as well, should you prefer to do away with the stand. Now testing was done from a gaming stand point as i felt this monitor was best suited for the average gamer. Color clarity is astonishing to say the very least. Vibrant colors popped both in ambient lighting as well as dark. The colors helped draw me in to the scenery of whatever i had going on in my background. Most visually stunning games are very demanding on monitors when color shifting occurs, however i was pleasantly surprised to see no color blur or ghosting. To be quite honest i wasn't expecting a whole lot out of a 100hz monitor in the way of games go but it held up very well against fortnite and apex. Visuals never faltered and never once did i see any screen tear. With that in mind it seemed to struggle a bit more against COD(Call of Duty). Every now and then i would get a blip or minor tear that would help very inconsistent and would only last seconds. Not a major set back but just something to make a note of. The monitor does come with two built in speakers which are actually surprisingly decent. Im not saying to bank of them for perfect audio quality but if your in a pinch and need something to get you by while you save up for a sound bar, then these speakers will be more than adequate. Actually probably hands down the best speaker i have heard on a monitor period. Overall what it comes down to is price vs functionality. At this price point i think your going to be very hard pressed to find a reliable monitor that can meet all your day to day needs rather it be daily zoom meetings, video editing, or your daily game nights. This monitor allows for stunning color display all while giving way to a smooth and respectable refresh rate. Its versatility makes it a easy buy.

My previous monitor was starting to speckle and was getting difficult to read so I bought this one. My previous monitor also had a build-in speaker thus I chose this monitor for such. The screen is clear and easy on the eyes (100mhz refresh rate). Surprisingly the speaker is loud which is a big plus. The stand has tilting capability but no up and down feature like previous but it's fine. Glad Best Buy had this in stock and pick-up! It comes with an HDMI cable which is a big plus.

I prefer 27" to 32" monitors for personal preference, but that being said, I've got a few 24" monitors as well and of all the ones I've used to date, this one has stolen my heart from the bunch. This is television, y'all. Someone needs to add a sound bar(or don't), and just use this as their all around dormitory gaming/ streaming screen. For being only 24 inches, it really does pop with vibrancy. Crazy, because it's not 4K(also great because of the affordability due to that little deficiency. ) Again, visually, this monitor looks simply lovely. Then there's the sound. Oh my goodness. The speakers sound so good even at 50% volume. I had it playing in my bedroom and I was able to clearly hear wrestling commentary from my kitchen. So much so, that i briefly forgot that it was in fact, the monitor and not my television playing. It's almost a shame that I'm going to use headphones while gaming on it. One knob in the back lower right on the monitor. This allows you to adjust everything from sound to screen type(gaming, movie, custom, etc) contrast/ brightness and the like. There are 2 HDMI ports ( 1 at the bottom, next to the Power source. And the other is on the back and hidden by a clean looking panel. There's also a little cable management going on. Just give me a remote next, and I'll just use this as my guest tele. Finally, for those who like to float their monitors. There's a removable panel that houses those 4 screws to for wall mounting or floating stands. This is beautiful monitor. I have to be honest. I didn't expect this from Dell. I'm glad that they showed that they still care.

The thin bezel takes up little space on your desktop. The stand provides stable footing. Nicely holds the power and HDMI cables without intruding your desk. DELL did a nice job with the extra panels to provide a clean look from behind the monitor which is even more appreciated in the open office or home office. Some specs I love: 1920 x 1080 resolution at 100 hertz refresh, rock solid and clear video. Two (2) available HDMI ports for better flexibility. Computer and any other device (DVD player, game box, Streaming service) Two (2) built in 5-watt speakers, available thanks to the HDMI port. ON/OFF button easy to find behind the lower right corner on the back, paired with a cool paddle for monitor menu access. Cable management on the monitor stand post. Stand can be removed if VESA mounting to wall or another stand. Super thin almost nonexistent outer black bezel. Subtle white LED indicator on the lower right corner. Toolless attachment of monitor stand. DELL engineers made it foolproof by using a large pin and small pin to guarantee correct orientation of base and post. I just love the crisp sharp image. Perfect for todays gamer community. The 27 inch model is just slightly larger if you have the room.

I bought this Dell monitor as a Father's Day present. The screen is matte and the picture is clear. The setup was easy and took the whole 5 minutes right out of the box. Also, the are speakers in the monitor. The only negative point I found was the lack of camera. (The old monitor was about 16 years old, and it did have the camera in the monitor, but it was missing the speakers. As the old saying goes, "you can't have everything").

I purchased 2 of these monitors for dual hookup on my Dell PC and setting it up was flawless. Beautiful and crisp colors and minimal frame. Sleek. Easily adaptable to the bracket/arm stand I also bought.

I needed a 23” Dell monitor to replace the one in my home office. This model doesn’t have all the bell and whistles as my previous display, but it fits in the old stand and it has built-in speakers. It meets all of my needs and a great price point.

This monitor replaced a 10 year old Dell monitor that was still working very well. Only problem it was a VGA connection that wouldn’t match the new tower. This monitor is very stylish and the colors and sound quality are excellent. No need for external speakers. Very much satisfied!!

I picked up this Dell monitor for my personal laptop to complement my home office. It matches and surpasses the quality of my work monitors. With two-foot-deep worktables, bigger isn’t better. Setup was a breeze—honestly the easiest I’ve experienced. I also like the power button placement for quickly turning off the screen when I lock or sleep my laptop. It’s not flashy, but it’s sleek, practical, and fits right in. No regrets—very happy with this buy!

This is my second Dell monitor. The first one is still going strong and I needed a second one for a new workstation. They're reliable, easy, great color, easy to adjust and trouble-free. What more could you ask? One suggestion to the product team would be to make it easier to plug in the HDMI cable. It's a little awkward.
