I bought two of these monitors and I absolutely love it, the quality is amazing, it is so thin, and it’s just amazing. Definetly exceeded my expectation

Disclaimer: This is a pretty straightforward, layman review. I won't go super in-depth simply because my knowledge of monitors is not at an expert level. I got this monitor to become my new main gaming monitor. At this, it serves its purpose very well. With the new update to G-Sync, it allows this FreeSync monitor to have adaptively synced refresh rates to the FPS my games are running at, huge value over the G-Sync model. I mainly play PUBG at 1440p and can push 144hz on high settings (though I set most things to low for obvious reasons). [GPU - RTX 2080 Founders Edition / CPU - i7-8700K] Gameplay is smooth and I have no issues with tearing or ghosting for the two months I've used this monitor, and I've probably put somewhere around 100-125 hours on it so far. It features two USB 3.0 capable ports on the bottom left side of the monitor, which is convenient for charging/powering devices. Output ports are a little difficult to reach, and can take a couple tries to add an HDMI/Displayport cable if the monitor isn't angled up before hand. Nothing serious though. I game during the day and at night, and the S2719DGF's brightness levels are certainly enough to play in a brightly sunlight room, yet can get dim enough to go easy on the eyes when gaming at night or low light. The colors are pretty good and are vibrant in games like Anthem, Battlefield V, Ori and the Blind Forest, Planet Coaster, Bayonetta etc. (I don't really play a lot of super saturated games.) From a design perspective, it's a very clean and sophisticated looking display. The bezels are very thin so you're able to focus more on the game than the monitor itself. One nitpick is the bezels are so small that my Logitech Brio webcam can barely cling to the top of it so it can take some really high dexterity to get it just right, if you prefer your cam directly in front that is. Overall, I'm digging my purchase and hope to keep this thing for a few years. I recently saw this monitor going for under $300 on sd so for that price I'd definitely say go for it. Game on.

I'm not one to review products but this one deserves it; mostly due to the fact that for the past 2 years I've been looking for a new gaming monitor to upgrade. Background on my setup, I have 6 core 5930K CPU at 4.3GHZ, 16GB Ram and GTX 1080Ti. Play mostly high paced FPS such as Unreal Tournament and Quake Champions I tried and returned several monitors including: - Dell s2716DG (Terrible banding, some ghosting but the worst part was the anti-glare film which made the image extremely grainy) - Alienware AW2518H (Anti-glare film made image very grainy, did not seem to do look better than my existing monitor, 240hz did not seem to be a real improvement over 144hz) - MSI Optix MPG27CQ (Anti-glare film made image very grainy, this monitor had a hair stuck between the panel and the anti-glare film which was very distracting, a couple of dead pixels and also a little bit of ghosting) The s2719DGF has what I believe is the best type of anti-glare coating, it's non intrusive so it looks Matte and sharp. The response time under the "Fast" setting works perfectly with no ghosting/overshooting. Gsync is working flawlessly at 155hz so far after using for 2 weeks. (Make sure to enable both GSYNC and VSYNC on the nvidia control panel and limit your FPS in game to 3 frames below your refresh rate, in this case 152FPS). Looks great out of the box and all you have to do is lower your Gamma a little bit in the Nvidia control panel to make it look near perfect. The monitor turns on pretty quick, maybe takes 2 seconds compared to about 6 seconds on my old Asus which used to drive me nuts. Controls are very intuitive and easy to use, the power button is very tiny but you get used to it. Overall the build feels solid, not wobbly and stable on the desk. Display Port cable is not included and its needed to enable Gsync on Nvidia cards It's a TN panel so viewing angles are not perfect but for gaming its the perfect monitor and I'm glad my search is over.

I'm a gamer with an extensive photo and video collection. I have high standards for accurate vivid colors. I had to take back the last "gaming" monitor I bought because although it might have been good for gaming the colors were so bad and text looked so blurry, especially when scrolling that I knew it was being sold on specs alone. This monitor does everything. One tip to make this monitor even better is to calibrate it with the Windows free calibration tool. Just type calibrate in the Windows search box and follow instructions.

Prior to picking up this monitor, I'd tried three different 1440p 32" VA monitors. They all had the same inherent flaws: smeary motion due to poor pixel response times, unnaturally over saturated colors, and weird flickering under certain conditions. I decided to abandon my VA panel experiment and return to a more modern TN monitor than my old ViewSonic XG2701. I was not disappointed. In fact, I was blown away. Motion clarity on this monitor is exceptionally good due to the 155hz refresh rate and very fast pixel response times. No smearing on this screen. More than that, however, it's got excellent, well-balanced color. One professional review stated that Dell achieved near IPS-level color with this screen, and I'm inclined to agree. Unlike IPS monitors, however, this screen doesn't have glow or backlight bleeding, and has very fast pixel response times. Most importantly for gamers, input lag is incredibly low on this screen. It's imperceptible. Multiple professional reviews measured the signal lag at under 6ms. That's stellar. When combined with rapid pixel response times, you end up with one of the fastest monitors around. It's a steal. Every one of the VA monitors I'd tried also exhibited flickering when FreeSync was turned on. It happened under different circumstances depending on the manufacturer, but it was always present, even when the monitor used a flicker-free backlight. That isn't the case with this monitor. I haven't seen flicker in any games, or on the desktop. It's also worth noting that the 1440p 32" monitors all had pixel density that was higher than my XG2701, but much lower than 1440p on a 27" screen. Higher pixel density makes aliasing in games a lot less noticeable, and makes the picture look a lot more clean. I think 1440p looks best on a 27" screen. If you're a gamer looking for a 1440p monitor, look no further. Not only does this monitor have incredibly low input lag, but it has excellent color and very fluid motion. You're not going to do better than this. The only con I can think of is that the screen isn't curved, and that's a small sacrifice when everything else about it is perfect. Dell crushed it with this monitor.

I had the G-Sync version (S2719DG) as it was the only one Bestbuy had in stock at my location, and really liked it, but the $599 MSRP kept eating at me... So I ordered the Freesync version as spec wise it was almost identical, it was over $200 less, and my RTX now supports Adaptive Sync. No regrets. The picture and performance are identical as far as my eye test -- same great color accuracy and fast response. No tears in the games I am playing (mostly Metro Exodus) and really nothing you can fault from being a TN Panel most people will say is inferior (they've come a long way). The broad-brush comparisons between TN and IPS are unfair in today's monitors and often comes from people who trash one particular panel type over another to justify their own purchase. It’s not usually because they’re an oracle of reason and experience. I've seen good and band IPS monitors as well as good and bad TN monitors. The build quality is excellent and it has the look and feel of a much more expensive monitor. It has a great stand that offers a full range of adjustments. Freesync works down to 40Hz with LFC over the Displayport (not HDMI), and it's QHD resolution is superb and you won't need to by an $800 graphics card to enjoy it. Did I say I loved the color accuracy? I do wish it had better contrast (I could say that about almost every monitor whether TN or IPS) and a gamma adjustment, but those are minor concerns. If you're in the market for a 27" QHD monitor, this is likely the best value out there, and even comparing it to more expensive monitors the Dell S2719DGF should be on your short list.

Lets start off with the pros - Large Screen for 27'' bezel is barely there - 2k monitor with Display port and 2HDMI - 4 usb 3.0 - Free sync now works with my NVidia card through adaptive sync - Cost was perfect price range of $300 - Colors are great / although could be better (see in cons) Cons - this isn't an IPS monitor (knew that going in) so colors are that going to be as vibrant but for a TN panel it kicks butt! - 155hz is only available through overclocking (had a few problems doing that ) Other then those complaints this monitor is perfect for me.

Excellent 1440p monitor. Sharp clean picture, it definitely has upped my FPS gaming performance. Being able to see that sniper in the distance, seeing that guy hiding in the bushes , definitely game changer. Only thing bad about TN panels is they have poor viewing angles, that’s about it but that holds true with all brands. First one I bought had a dead pixel out of the box, but things happen and some times you get a lemon, exchanged it for another and not a problem since.

Overall a great monitor no complaint. Great picture quality and great design. It was on sale for $100 off so worth the buy. If you’re looking to use it for Xbox one X you will have to sacrifice some features. If you run it on 1440p it will not run 120 Hz but you can use FreeSync. On the other hand you can run it at 1080p with 120 Hz but no FreeSync. Overall it’s a shame you can’t run 120 Hz and FreeSync together but shouldn’t really be a big deal because there are not much games that are running over 60 frames per second on the Xbox one X.

I originally purchased theAsus VG248QE. It was the same price however out of the gate the Asus kept having some screen flickering issues, which I later learned was my display port cable failing. However I had already returned the Asus monitor and saw they had this Monitor in stock for the same price and boy did it feel like an upgrade. Like I said my display port cable failed and initially when I set this monitor up I got red lines on the right hand side of the screen, once I plugged in the new cable everything went back to normal. But it felt like an upgrade, the thin bezels, sleek stand, the colors, and overclockable to 155hz. It felt like something modern and simple.Out of the box this monitors colors were way better. They weren’t where I like them, but with some fine tuning after a few hours the monitor looks Amazing. At the price point of 279.99 it beat out everything in its class. My gtx 1070 wont do 144hz at 1440p on modern AAA titles, however on games such as csgo, rocket league, and hero’s of the storm the games will and it feels like butter. I honestly don’t think I could ever go back to a monitor without a high refresh rate. 2 bonuses that this monitor has is hdmi 2.0, as well as usb pass thru. Not many monitors have both especially at this price point l. From the research I did from both Amazon, Newegg, and Micro Center. This monitor takes the cake. I am very happy about my purchase and hopefully if it goes on sale again I’ll get another

I use a GTX 2070 and usually get about 100 fps in most games. This monitor keeps up great and I haven’t noticed any tearing or lag. Everything looks good on it, whether it’s gaming or productivity. The build quality is nice too and it looks good in any setting. I will most likely buy another for a dual monitor setup.

If you have Nvidia 1080 or above, and want G-sync without the premium costs then this one is a good option. Nvidia had already enabled compatibility with Free-Sync based LCD. So far I have observed good performance even without actually activating this option, however. Lastly, this is a 1440p native resolution in 144Mhz and 1ms response time panel. Connections for video cards come in HDMI 1 and HDMI 2 ports (one each) and also a single Display Port in 1.2a specs. I got this as an open box and it was a great deal for a good DELL LCD. Thank you!

I was hesitant to get this monitor being a tn panel, but a 1440p panel with the features of this monitor costs way more money. I wasn't disappointed the color is great image quality is fantastic viewing angles are good as long as you aren't being ridiculous and watching from the edge or below. Freesync works great with gsync on gtx 10 series cards, no flickering or other weirdness. For 300$ this monitor can't be beat. It looks great and has everything high end monitors should have at a fraction of the price.

This monitor has been amazing!! My main monitor was an Acer Predator 1920x1080 with 244hz refresh rate. I was hesitant about upgrading to 2k but since I upgraded to an RTX 2070 I decided to check it out. Games have never looked better!! I didn’t need to change anything other than the brightness and the icon sizes. The monitor does swivel and go up and down (I originally thought it didn’t go up and down). Only negative is it does not come with a displayport cable!! Seriously dell?! I bought one from amazon for $10

I bought this monitor because for my uses, it had the best mix of resolution, refresh rate, size, and most importantly, cost. I have not been disappointed with my purchase. I have used it for gaming and for general purpose computing (web browsing and document generation). It arrived quickly, set up easily, and there were no dead pixels. Out of the box color needed a bit of adjustment, and brightness needs to be turned down a ton...but it wasn't that difficult to get it to look good. I would definitely recommend this monitor!

I had originally purchased an Acer 1440p 144hz gaming monitor, but the base was so flimsy. Then I saw this monitor on sale for $300 at Best Buy. I had been checking this monitor out for some time, ever since Nvidia enabled FreeSync monitors to work with their g-sync enabled graphics cards. I must say that playing on this monitor, with its 144hz refresh rate is smooth as butter. I see that this monitor is actually on sale again right now, and I have seen it on sale pretty regularly so you might want to wait for a sale if you have the patience and are considering making this purchase. For the price you really can't beat this monitor.

Dell - S2719DGF 27.0" 2560x1440 144Hz Monitor - Just got this to pair with my VEGA64. So far it's a beautiful panel. I'm generally skeptical of TN panels, I prefer IPS panels, but seeing this in the store at first I thought it was an IPS panel, took a look to find out it was a TN panel, went home and did more research research to discover the color accuracy of it is phenomenal and is probably one of, if not the best TN panels on the market(it fooled me). Comparatively to the ASUS MG279Q the image quality is on par if not slightly better, and above all, there are no limiting factors to the Freesync which was my main concern. Whereas the MG279Q is limited to 90fps on the Freesync unless you tinker around with it, this monitor has no limitation on its Freesync range, and I was simply having no luck getting the Freesync to work properly with the MG279Q. Constant black screens and connection issues. This monitor has been a joy and I'm very happy with it

great monitor for the price, only setting i had to adjust was the brightness, and the settings controls are very intuitive. the picture is amazing, no dead pixels. i was concerned about 144hz and 1440p being too much for my gtx 1080 gpu to handle, but even when i cant hit 144 fps in my games the gsync helps keep things smooth. while not officially gsync compatible, it is and was easy to detect and setup in nvidia control panel.
