Anyone wanting the best bang for your buck knows that higher refresh rates means a smoother, more dynamic picture. This has it. FreeSync? Got it. USB ports? DVI ? Oh my. Gots that too, Vertical lift? YUPP. It can turn sideways. Nice! Really can’t be beat for $299.

I absolutely love this monitor. I got this monitor the same time I got my first gaming pc. Picked up a prebuilt cyberpower pc and chose this monitor specifically to pair it with the Radeon graphics card to use the free sync and have no complaints about this. The 144hz is a must to take advantage of the graphics card output. The display is very sleek and the stand is very sturdy. Graphics are top notch when gaming on ultra settings. Picked this up when on sale but would not be disappointed if I had paid full price. I had considered buying two for dual set up and when I saw the size of this one I am glad I only got one. Definitely recommend.

I know my review is late. But man on man, this is a amazing monitor. I was already a fan of Dell monitors. And just iced the cake. It has amazing features to tune the settings to your liking. Plenty of options for how you want it hooked up, and amazing adjustments for perfect viewing. Did I mention how great that 1440 quality picture is. Too make it even better when I bought it Best Buy had it 25% off. If you’re a gamer, this is the right tool for you. Never cheap out on your monitor. Currently owned for 6 months with 0 issues. Highly recommended.

The description says the refresh rate is 155 Hz. It is not! The refresh rate is 144 Hz. It even says so on the box. Since I am happy with the monitor anyway, I decided not to return it. It's still a good monitor for the price.

So I bought this monitor to upgrade from my 1080p 144hz refresh rate monitor and I'm definitely happy with this monitor. This monitor is great for pc and the quality while gaming is insane. I love the 1ms response time, I can tell a difference when I play on controller. I recommend this monitor if you're looking to upgrade from a 1080p monitor to a 2k quality monitor.

ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS MONITOR! it has a nice sleek look to it with no border around the screen. display is absolutely amazing and great resolutions and response time on it. the only reason why i can’t give it a 5 star review is because 2 months into using this monitor, i experienced a black faded area on my screen. i didn’t pay much attention because it was only coming here and there. Now, 5 months into using this monitor, that faded black area on my screen was here to stay. and now it’s very distracting and can’t play comfortably on it. I didn’t buy warranty on it so i dont know what i can do to fix it. i don’t want to buy a new one. PLS HELP

I'm not one to review products but this one deserves it; mostly due to the fact that for the past 2 years I've been looking for a new gaming monitor to upgrade. Background on my setup, I have 6 core 5930K CPU at 4.3GHZ, 16GB Ram and GTX 1080Ti. Play mostly high paced FPS such as Unreal Tournament and Quake Champions I tried and returned several monitors including: - Dell s2716DG (Terrible banding, some ghosting but the worst part was the anti-glare film which made the image extremely grainy) - Alienware AW2518H (Anti-glare film made image very grainy, did not seem to do look better than my existing monitor, 240hz did not seem to be a real improvement over 144hz) - MSI Optix MPG27CQ (Anti-glare film made image very grainy, this monitor had a hair stuck between the panel and the anti-glare film which was very distracting, a couple of dead pixels and also a little bit of ghosting) The s2719DGF has what I believe is the best type of anti-glare coating, it's non intrusive so it looks Matte and sharp. The response time under the "Fast" setting works perfectly with no ghosting/overshooting. Gsync is working flawlessly at 155hz so far after using for 2 weeks. (Make sure to enable both GSYNC and VSYNC on the nvidia control panel and limit your FPS in game to 3 frames below your refresh rate, in this case 152FPS). Looks great out of the box and all you have to do is lower your Gamma a little bit in the Nvidia control panel to make it look near perfect. The monitor turns on pretty quick, maybe takes 2 seconds compared to about 6 seconds on my old Asus which used to drive me nuts. Controls are very intuitive and easy to use, the power button is very tiny but you get used to it. Overall the build feels solid, not wobbly and stable on the desk. Display Port cable is not included and its needed to enable Gsync on Nvidia cards It's a TN panel so viewing angles are not perfect but for gaming its the perfect monitor and I'm glad my search is over.

I had the G-Sync version (S2719DG) as it was the only one Bestbuy had in stock at my location, and really liked it, but the $599 MSRP kept eating at me... So I ordered the Freesync version as spec wise it was almost identical, it was over $200 less, and my RTX now supports Adaptive Sync. No regrets. The picture and performance are identical as far as my eye test -- same great color accuracy and fast response. No tears in the games I am playing (mostly Metro Exodus) and really nothing you can fault from being a TN Panel most people will say is inferior (they've come a long way). The broad-brush comparisons between TN and IPS are unfair in today's monitors and often comes from people who trash one particular panel type over another to justify their own purchase. It’s not usually because they’re an oracle of reason and experience. I've seen good and band IPS monitors as well as good and bad TN monitors. The build quality is excellent and it has the look and feel of a much more expensive monitor. It has a great stand that offers a full range of adjustments. Freesync works down to 40Hz with LFC over the Displayport (not HDMI), and it's QHD resolution is superb and you won't need to by an $800 graphics card to enjoy it. Did I say I loved the color accuracy? I do wish it had better contrast (I could say that about almost every monitor whether TN or IPS) and a gamma adjustment, but those are minor concerns. If you're in the market for a 27" QHD monitor, this is likely the best value out there, and even comparing it to more expensive monitors the Dell S2719DGF should be on your short list.

Disclaimer: This is a pretty straightforward, layman review. I won't go super in-depth simply because my knowledge of monitors is not at an expert level. I got this monitor to become my new main gaming monitor. At this, it serves its purpose very well. With the new update to G-Sync, it allows this FreeSync monitor to have adaptively synced refresh rates to the FPS my games are running at, huge value over the G-Sync model. I mainly play PUBG at 1440p and can push 144hz on high settings (though I set most things to low for obvious reasons). [GPU - RTX 2080 Founders Edition / CPU - i7-8700K] Gameplay is smooth and I have no issues with tearing or ghosting for the two months I've used this monitor, and I've probably put somewhere around 100-125 hours on it so far. It features two USB 3.0 capable ports on the bottom left side of the monitor, which is convenient for charging/powering devices. Output ports are a little difficult to reach, and can take a couple tries to add an HDMI/Displayport cable if the monitor isn't angled up before hand. Nothing serious though. I game during the day and at night, and the S2719DGF's brightness levels are certainly enough to play in a brightly sunlight room, yet can get dim enough to go easy on the eyes when gaming at night or low light. The colors are pretty good and are vibrant in games like Anthem, Battlefield V, Ori and the Blind Forest, Planet Coaster, Bayonetta etc. (I don't really play a lot of super saturated games.) From a design perspective, it's a very clean and sophisticated looking display. The bezels are very thin so you're able to focus more on the game than the monitor itself. One nitpick is the bezels are so small that my Logitech Brio webcam can barely cling to the top of it so it can take some really high dexterity to get it just right, if you prefer your cam directly in front that is. Overall, I'm digging my purchase and hope to keep this thing for a few years. I recently saw this monitor going for under $300 on sd so for that price I'd definitely say go for it. Game on.

I picked up this display because of the price, it being the cheapest with all the features I wanted. I felt weird buying a Dell monitor, I mean it's Dell, but I couldn't have been more wrong. The build quality is excellent with thin bezels around a nice display and an amazing stand that lifts, turns 90º, swivels side to side all without rocking the base at all. Solid. I'm used to a glossy screen so returning to a matte LCD screen takes some getting used to but it's great in poorly lit rooms with little glare. I bought this as a second monitor for a Mac or to set up a second workstation for a Mac but I chose this one amazingly at a time I was building a gaming system. The rig I was building happened to be AMD based and the gaming system and the FreeSync technology are WONDERFUL together! I never used to pay attention to these hardware features before but I recommend you do if you're a PC gamer, particularly a new one. There's few purchases that are free of remorse but I think this display will be ranked there. I haven't had that long but already it has left it's original purpose and is synced up with the gaming system only. My only caveat is that both HDMI ports aren't high speed, something to note while buying this one. Display port one is HDMI 2.0 while the second is only HDMI 1.4. May not matter but a budget cutter that draws away some of the value. However, overall this display has been amazing in all it uses and some I haven't tried yet.

First monitor I had pretty bad backlight bleed in the dark. Thankfully Dell shipped me out a replacement with overnight shipping. A little bit disappointed it's refurbished but it has way less bleed than the first one. The monitor works with GSync and has 155hz with a 1ms response time. For $300 this is one good deal for a 1440p Monitor.

I was hesitant to get this monitor being a tn panel, but a 1440p panel with the features of this monitor costs way more money. I wasn't disappointed the color is great image quality is fantastic viewing angles are good as long as you aren't being ridiculous and watching from the edge or below. Freesync works great with gsync on gtx 10 series cards, no flickering or other weirdness. For 300$ this monitor can't be beat. It looks great and has everything high end monitors should have at a fraction of the price.

Previously owned a 24" Asus gaming monitor which worked great for three years until it went black for no apparent reason. Repair shop estimates helped steer the decision to replace it rather than repair it. Read reviews about this 27" Dell gaming monitor and was intrigued. Bought online during a sale for a grand total of three hundred sixty three dollars and seventy three cents. (Two-hundred ninety-nine dollars and ninety-nine cents, plus tax, plus four-year extended warranty). Best Buy warns you it will arrive in its original carton and it did. We made sure we were home on the day of delivery. If you live in a porch pirate area, make arrangements to receive it safely. Set-up was easy. The size upgrade from my old 24" to the new 27" was definitely a fun improvement. The refresh rate keeps up with high speed gaming, which was probably the most important feature to us. The colors are vibrant and on target, and the black is deep enough for realistic scenes. Resolution is excellent. Watching church services online is simply beautiful. The stand leaves a lot of room on the desk for homework. Having been burned by the previous monitor, we bought the four-year Geek Squad Product Replacement extended warranty for forty-four dollars and ninety-nine cents. Don't forget to go OUTSIDE once in a while!

    A QUALITY PANEL

I know what your thinking. “Just another crappy TN panel”. But look at the rest of these reviews. This is a QUALITY panel for the price. Believe me, I was nervous when buying this product, and I got it open-box for a steal which is why I considered it. And it was a great decision. I was nervous due to the TN panel of course, since I am a big fan of great colors in a monitor. When first taken out of the box, this guy looks good, but it does need some adjustment. (Other reviews have put their settings in their reviews) after adjusting some settings, this monitor is hard to differentiate to your regular IPS panel. I compared this guy side by side to my Samsung VA panel, and after adjustment some of the colors look BETTER. As for build quality, I’m extremely happy with this screen, the stand is sturdy, and the dark blue/gray look is minimalist. It’s. Nice to see a gaming monitor that doesn’t deter the average person with tons of RGB. Another great feature of this monitor is actual 1ms gray to gray response time that you don’t find in IPS panels unless they are adjusted to do so, which then gives other ghosting and corona effect issues when turned on. 144hz at 1440p results in a fantastic looking monitor, with decent viewing angels for a TN panel. HIGHLY recommend this monitor.

Great monitor for gaming! Using with an RTX 2080, and games are sharp and super smooth with very low input lag (VERY low - eye opening experience for me), fast response time, and no smearing or blur. Once you go high refresh rate 1440p you’ll never want to use a 1080p 60Hz monitor again! Even though it’s not listed officially, it is Gsync Compatible with no issues. Picture quality is very good, but black levels are definitely not great, typical of this panel type. If backlight bleed bothers you, look elsewhere because this thing does not have deep blacks at all unfortunately, which is why I knocked off a star. Color calibration is on the cool side, so I did need to adjust settings to warm the picture up a bit to my liking. The built in USB 3.0 hub is handy, and the stand is fantastic, very sturdy, no wobble, and high quality. Everything about the monitor feels very premium. 27” is bigger than I thought it would be, and the amount of extra screen real estate afforded by the 1440p resolution comes in very handy. Definitely a good buy, and very happy with it!
