I purchased two of these monitors in order to finally set up my telework station at the house. For the price, these monitors can't be beat. So far these monitors have worked wonderfully for their intended purpose. Set up was literally plug and play and I was good to go. They are big. I thought they were roughly the same size as my work monitors, but they're definitely bigger.

Good image quality; I bought this on sale and the image quality was typical for a unit at its regular price, so this was an excellent value. It has a 1080p max resolution which is good for what I am using it for; a display for a mini pc I use for music streaming. It is wall mounted, so the larger fonts are great. The only caution is that if you plan on using the VESA mount holes, is that unlike other monitors I have, the mount holes are recessed behind a removable panel. Some mounts may not work; mine was large enough to bridge the recess, but I had to do a hardware store run to get longer screws to make sure I had enough threads captured ( see pic). This was a replacement monitor, so I used the mount I had, They did not have a display sample, so I did not know about this until I opened the box.

I’ve found that this enables higher productivity when working and a more immersive gaming experience, compared to smaller monitors or solely using my laptop. It fits well on my desk and looks great, thanks to the modern design and textured pattern on the back. It’s VESA mountable but includes a stand that easily snaps into place without any tools required. Without the stand, the monitor is about 14” tall, and with the stand, it’s about 18” tall. Unfortunately, the stand doesn’t allow height adjustment, but it’s tiltable (-5 degrees/21 degrees). Along with the power cable, an HDMI cable is included in the box which is an addition I greatly appreciate. The connectivity options on the back of the monitor include a security lock slot, power connector, two HDMI ports, and an audio line-out port. Subtly located on the bottom right of the monitor are the power and on-screen menu buttons. I’m a fan of the design, which I’d describe as straightforward but also elegant. Features & Performance: This monitor not only delivers exceptional clarity with its full HD 1920 x 1080 resolution, but also an extremely smooth experience with its 4ms response time, 75Hz refresh rate, and AMD FreeSync technology. In my opinion, these are the standout features and reason enough to get this monitor. I connect my gaming laptop to this monitor via HDMI and really enjoy the gaming experience. The display is super responsive, so there’s no “ghosting” effect. Additionally, colors are bright and vivid. AMD FreeSync effectively eliminates stuttering and tearing that can occur when the display’s refresh rate and the content’s frame rate differ but be aware that you must have a compatible graphics card on your PC/laptop. I’ve thoroughly tested games like Fortnite and Call of Duty: Warzone and they both look flawless on this monitor. Working from home or regular everyday use is just as great. Additional features that further enhance this monitor are IPS technology and ComfortView. In-plane switching (IPS) technology provides wide viewing angles and consistent colors while ComfortView reduces blue light emissions. If you’re unfamiliar, blue light emission can lead to eye fatigue and strain. Compared to monitors that don’t have a feature like ComfortView, I do notice a significant difference in how my eyes feel during longer working or gaming sessions. It’s a feature I didn’t know existed, but now I don’t want to go without it. This monitor has all the features I could wish for complemented by impressive performance. Verdict: There are numerous monitors on the market at a wide range of prices. The refresh rate, resolution, and other features of this monitor might not measure up to the high-end options, but at this price point, I think it’s a fantastic bang for your buck. Simply put, gaming and working on this monitor is a great experience. For me, this beautifully designed, high-performance monitor easily earns five stars.

Awesome monitor, real color. Don't expect punchy color on it. Expect real color. And make sure to change settings from windows display settings to 75Hz. Otherwise, you will get 60Hz as default. Best value for money!

This monitor works perfectly as a second monitor for working from home. It is large, bright, and very affordable. In fact, I will be getting one more so I can have a pair on my standing desk and won't need to squint at my much smaller laptop screen any more.

1st, let me start by telling you how to set the monitor to the max refresh of 75hz as 99 times out of 100, Windows will NOT set it to what it can do. Right Click your desktop --> Display Settings --> Scroll down to Advanced Display Settings --> Display Adapter Properties for (Monitor name here) --> List All Modes --> 1920 x 1080 75 hertz. Dell advertises the display as a gaming monitor and does a fairly decent job at it. Initial impressions were mixed when I first set up and gave it a go. Assembly was straightforward and super easy. No tools required. Build quality is great and using the stand is really stable. There is no height adjustment so keep that in mind but there is a tilt option. Super thin bezels makes it a very attractive display when viewing all sorts of content. Nothing fancy or flashy at all about this monitor. 100mm x 100mm Vesa mounting. Comes with it own HDMI cable and power cord. Pretty basic, but that's all you need. Has 2 HDMI inputs as well and really nice if you want to use it as a display for streaming boxes or a game console. Out of the box and firing it up, Color Accuracy was surprising on point. Only a few minor tweaks needed to make me happy. There are many presets to choose from as well if you are not one to customize colors exactly to your liking. While gaming, depending of course on what hardware you are using, is where the monitor shines. I never dropped below the 75 FPS while playing any game on my steam library on ULTRA or Max settings. I did notice some very minor ghosting playing fast paced FPS's but nothing too bad to warrant a complaint. Other than that, everything was buttery smooth @ 75. Keep in mind that the real estate is wonderful. 27 inches is a good size for all types, but I think in my own opinion it is a little wasteful to have it handicapped @ 1080. But IF FHD gaming is your forte, then by all means, you are golden with this. This was my first monitor when I was beginning my PC setup and overall I can't say anything negative About it

Love this monitor. I thought about buying a second one. I was gonna buy a dual monitor mount for it until I looked behind and saw NO VESA mount. I can't believe that I didn't notice it before the purchase. I would look for other monitors with a VESA mount. I've looked around for adapters and they don't make one for this specific monitor. Now I'll have to buy two new monitors with the VESA mount. I haven't had any other issues with it. Colors look great.

Picture quality is amazing. The colors are beatiful. I am very happy with this purchase.

These monitors are great for business. The edgeless design is perfect for multi monitor set ups. I would recommend, although, I have not personally tested these for serious gaming, apps look better then on my phone

Dell - S2721NX 27" IPS is a good entry-level HD 1920 x 1080 resolution 27” inch monitor. With good build quality and thin bezel, sturdy stand (tile only no height adjustment), along with the ability to use the built-in 100 mm x 100 mm VESA mount, it gives you some 27 inches of goodness. The monitor has nice brightness and contrast and good colors and viewing angles due to IPS technology. Along with 75Hz refresh rate with a 4ms response time. If you are using AMD video cards, you have the added advantage of this monitor using AMD FreeSync technology The edge lighting gives good backlighting and it is only in extreme full-screen black background that I could notice some minor flashlighting in two corners of the display. At 75Hz there is some slight ghosting in high FPS games but you really have to look for it and it isn't consistant. There is no screen flicker and the comfort view is a plus so no harmful blue light emissions making for less eye fatigue. The monitor has two HDMI inputs with one cable included, and it uses a standard included PC power cable - no brick is needed. It also has a headphone jack (no integrated speakers). If you are looking for a 27” monitor for gaming of everyday use that is full HD 1920 x 1080 with a HDMI connection this is certainly a good unit to consider. Two other things to take note of: When opening the box you get to see the VESA connection right there with a panel to cover it up separately in the box. Windows 10 does seem to want to auto-select to the audio out on the monitor when first setting the monitor up so just be aware.

This monitor is very nice. I've had this monitor hooked up to my Dell gaming laptop. Having a large screen to play on when at home is so much nicer. The stand was easy to attach, came with an HDMI cable for an easy and quick hookup. Windows recognized it right away, no problems. The menu is accessed and controlled from the bottom left (as you are looking at the monitor). There's personalization for your preferences. The refresh rate and response time have been flawless in my games. There is no difference between this monitor and the Dell laptop monitor with movement. No flickering screen. I can play for a few hours without feeling any strain on my eyes. With dark scenes in my game, I get more detail in the corners than I do on my laptop, that helps a lot. I'm still working on getting the "just right" setting for my eyes, but even as is I'm loving the large screen and details I'm getting while playing. It has dual HDMI ports so I can have my laptop and game console connected to it simultaneously which helps to not wear out the ports. This monitor does not have sound. It does not swivel left and right. It does adjust forward and back. It is VESA mountable. I have a monitor stand coming that will allow me to swivel it and adjust it as I like. Overall, this is a very nice monitor and I would recommend it for gaming and everyday computing.

First monitor I ever bought and honestly very satisfied with it

Would receive 5 stars, but buyer beware -- the screen does NOT come to the edge of the bevel. There is a good 1/3" of black around the entire edge of the screen, so you won't be getting that sweet sweet seamless dual/tri-monitor set up with these.
