The Dell S2721NX is a great monitor that’s a great start for those building their gaming station. Why do I say that? This monitor could be good for those with a gaming PC or even console. The dual HDMI ports could easily allow you to do both with a simple toggle of the input. There is even an audio line out on the back to give you options for your sound. That’s the simple plain truth. Now, let me get into the details. The Dell S2721NX has a thin, sleek bezel that will compliment whatever use you have for it. The screen provides an exceptional 1920x1080 Full HD Resolution. There is a key change to make here to get the full experience though. I noticed it was set to a Ultra HD 1920x1080 with a 60Hz refresh rate. By going into the display settings, you can change this to a 75Hz refresh rate. It’s a little annoying to do that, but not the worst thing in the world. A lot of people won’t notice the difference there, but gamers will. Gamers will also want to tweak the colors a bit, but the default is really good from the start. Continuing with the physical appearance, the stand is just okay. I prefer ones that tilt, swivel and allow for up and down adjustments. However, this one doesn’t do that. One plus is that this unit won’t take up a ton of desk space. Speaking of saving space, that leads me to my next perk. I had a triple monitor mount with an arm ready for it. Adding the VESA bracket was a breeze and it looks great next to the others. I have had some monitors that have required special spacers or bolts and this one worked with all of the standard setup pieces. Ultimately, this monitor is a great pick up for your computing and gaming needs. I think it can be very versatile. Also, it comes with everything you need right out of the box. There’s no need for extra cable purchases or anything. That’s always a big plus.

After receiving this monitor, I had completed the setup and was ready to play within ten minutes. At the start, it needed minimal adjustment, and the picture quality for this high-resolution monitor is excellent. The monitor is well-designed, is ultra-thin with a fine infinity edge, tilts down/up very easily. The base stand is very sturdy. For gamers, other than resolution and refresh rate, they also need to consider response time. This monitor is an IPS panel, and the 4ms response time, which for this type of panel, it is fast. Generally, the lowest response time panel is always better (faster), and this Dell IPS monitor has the best. It reduces the effect of ghosting, minimal blur trailing behind objects during fast-changing scenes. This feature helps me get better results in shooting other players and not a ghost. Overall, this Dell IPS monitor is great with excellent color reproduction, image quality, and viewing angle.

## Setup and Design The monitor was conveniently packaged in its box. When opening the box as directed, you can access the back of the monitor immediately for installing your wall mount bracket if you wish to do so. Otherwise, you can install the included base. I was surprised to find that an HDMI cable is also included in the packaging. The monitor has a very minimal design with a very thin bezel around the top and sides (the bottom bezel is a little larger). The buttons for power and navigating the on-screen menus are located on the bottom of the monitor. ## Performance I fired up Fortnite to test this monitor out for gaming. It definitely did not disappoint! Graphics are sharp and I did not notice any issues with responsiveness or ghosting. I also found the monitor to work well for working-from-home as well as doing photo editing. The LED backlight and IPS display provides a consistent viewing experience across the display, even if you're viewing the monitor from an angle or if you're looking up at the monitor while slouched in your chair. ## Features - 4ms response time: A low response time is a must-have for gaming, and the Dell S2721NX monitor's low 4ms worked great for Fortnite gaming. I did not have any issues with delays or ghosting while playing. - FreeSync: This prevents "tearing" in fast-moving game play. This Dell monitor supports this technology (if your graphics card also supports it). - IPS: An "IPS" display means that the picture looks consistent from an angle. This Dell monitor looks great whether you're sitting directly in front of it, or if you're slouched in your seat and not seeing it head-on. - VESA Mount: I was able to mount this monitor to the wall thanks to the standard 100 mm x 100 mm VESA holes. - ComfortView: Although the shift to warmer colors is built-in to many operating systems now, you can manually reduce the amount of blue light with the "ComfortView" setting directly on the monitor. ## Summary Overall, the Dell S2721NX monitor is great for both gaming and working-from-home alike. The sharp display, uniform lighting and fast response time make this a great choice for your gaming rig or home office.

Dell really checked off a lot of good things with this monitor. 27 inches is a great size for photography and media work. It is full HD 1920x1080p resolution. IPS is a must for true color visualization for your content. For those long, late night work hours it helps to have ComfortView to reduce blue light and make it easy on the eyes. The overall design makes of the monitor makes it easy to setup in any workspace.

This monitor was purchased to replace a 12 year old Dell 22" LCD which finally died, for home business use. So far, I've had this monitor for 1 1/2 months and they have worked out great for my home office. I chose to use these with a double-arm desk mount instead of the included desk stand. The stand is sturdy and looks very stylish but it doesn't allow for height adjustment and for 3-4 hour stints at a time, I'd like to avoid the neck and back problems from previously leaning to see the screen on the desk. The super thin bezels are really attractive and in a side-by-side configuration almost appear as 1 large screen. The controls are easy enough and labeled well. I'm used to the wheel-style button which exists on many other monitors and TVs these days but I appreciate the deliberate presses required to change settings on the monitor. It is also nice having the power button lit on the bottom right corner as it provides a nice ambiance during hours of use at night without the light on. I found the monitor needed very minimal picture adjustment right out of the box but I like to tweak it such that I have an appropriate brightness when the sun comes in directly, vs. when it goes down. Controls are well-labeled and placed on the monitor and do not take away from its elegance. The color and picture quality is excellent. I use it to work on and review spreadsheets, powerpoint presentations for technical and marketing purposes and it is superb. Additionally, the screen size is really nice as I do configure applications for use and it's nice to have the real estate available to see the controls, workflows and workbooks either larger or more of them when scaled down. While this monitor is a FHD (1920x1080p) resolution, because of the size, you are able to scale down larger spreadsheets or contracts and still see them well, which is all I need. The 75Hz option is nice but if you're not playing games or producing videos, this is not going to give you much added performance you recognize. The 2 HDMI inputs are also great as I have connect my work laptop to the first set and my desktop to the other set. Be careful to ensure your computer is able to handle the resolution of your selected monitors if you go above FDH (1920x1080p) resolution. I stuck with this because my work laptop was not able to handle 2k (2048x1080p) or 4k (3840x2160p) for 2 monitors simultaneously, though my personal laptop can. Since I participate in many remote meetings where I'm presenting or others are, I prefer having 1 screen dedicated to sharing or seeing their presentation while having other monitors available for researching questions, taking notes, etc. Again, if my work laptop was able to support 2k or 4k resolution as my personal laptop is, I would've gone with one of those resolutions for this size monitor to prevent having to scale things down but I needed to account for the lowest common denominator. My experience with Dell monitors has been excellent over the years and I have no doubt this one will perform just as well. I am very happy with this purchase/performance and anyone looking for a business monitor without need for extended graphic art, art/video production or gaming ability, you'll be very happy with this monitor.

Super clear picture and great size for gaming, picture editing, and film production.

Awesome picture quality, refresh rate, screen size and features. Works great with both integrated Intel GPU and NVidia GeForce RTX2060 GPU via DP and HDMI. 1440p Games at 60Hz and 120Hz look fantastic. But of an odd diagonal rolling z pattern when in 165Hz mode. Don’t have an AMD GPU to try out the AMD FreeSync Pro enhancement. All the monitors that offer GSync Premium are at least 3x the cost. Pass.

I was looking for a good quality monitor at a low price. I was doing all my work on my macbook air. I'm glad I got this when it had a $100 discount for early black Friday deals. The frame around the screen is very thin so it would be great for dual monitors. It takes longer to get it out of the box than it does to set up. I mainly use it for school and editing marketing graphics. I watched a show on Netflix the other day and the quality was great! The only concern is that I shake my leg constantly and I have a smaller desk so sometimes it will rock a bit, but if you have a study desk and don't shake your leg you'll be fine. If you're looking for a great monitor this size I highly recommend.

This revolutionized my remote work-from-home experience. While some friends told me i should have bought a 32", I honestly can't imagine something larger on my desk. I'm not a gamer but for work purposes, and the price, this can't be beat. The colors are crisp enough for work, and it auto-ons flawlessly.

I love this monitor for my home office. The display is clean and clear. Set up was easy and it fits on my desk perfectly. The only thing that would make it better would be sound but for the price point it's perfect.

This monitor is perfect for my wife’s WFH setup. She doesn’t need anything bigger, and the Full HD resolution means she has enough real estate on the screen to see everything that she needs. Setup was a breeze and it’s light enough to move whenever needed. Plus the price was great. All in all we couldn’t be happier.

This was a wonderful purchase because it passes all the requirements for monitors (the following points are the requirements) • price 8/10 • Quality 9.5/10 • size 9/10 • the refresh rate and hertz 9/10. I bought this monitor for a console so the 75 hertz is appropriate since the max hertz the Congolese can get is 60, so not over kill, just right. • graphics 8.5/10. The reason I gave it a 8.5/10 is because some of the color blind features on some games don’t work to well with the monitor better then monitors I have experienced with. But besides that it has no back lighting so that’s a plus. That concludes my review about this wonderful monitor, I have it overall a 9/10

Beautiful minimalist design.Beautiful display.The only drawback is no speakers so you would have to own speakers or buy ones to set up with this monitor.The monitor doesn’t take up a lot of real estate but offers good screen size do to the stand.The stand is sturdy and allows the screen to tilt.Stand can also be removed via a little hole in the back,must be careful because you have to press down in the hole with a small pointy object and pull the neck off at the same time as pressing down in the hole being careful not to damage the stand.Buttons are easy to access just under the front of the bezel but are not noticeable so keeps the design clean.The bezel is barely there all you see is the beautiful screen.

Year and a half and still a good display. I work in radiology so it was recommended to me as a good one. Could have more i put features but oh well

And I'm loved standard 3 pin Power supply it's a very convenient ! I'm still waiting ps5 but I'm suspecting quality it's can be aslo super great !
