It's not the best for gaming or video editing but it is phenomenal. I have used this monitor for gaming, editing short videos, and work. Gaming on this monitor is great. I don't have any complaints especially with AMD Free Sync. My graphics card is compatible with the technology so I don't experience any choppiness or tearing in any of my gameplay. It is as smooth as can be. The image is also fantastic as this is an IPS panel and I can be moving in my chair or share a screen with my wife while playing on PS5 instead of PC and get very consistent colors. The response time is 4ms so it isn't the best in class but it is fast. It is Full HD and not 4k so it won't be the best but it is still fantastic. Editing video is a similar experience in terms of visual quality and responsiveness. The computer is doing the majority of the work in both cases but the monitor does provide the clarity and consistency you need when editing. Working on this monitor has been great as well. It has 2 HDMI ports so I connect one to my gaming PC and one to PS5. When I'm not gaming, I'm usually working. I don't get screen fatigue but I will have a complaint about the stand it comes with. It is not height adjustable so if you're not seated at the correct height, it can be straining on the body to work all day. I fixed that by getting my own stand and that mounted perfectly. Overall, this monitor isn't the best but it is fantastic. From the design to the performance it checks all the boxes.

Already had to throw it away because it stopped working. My CIO could not bring it back.

Have to keep it on night option or the screen is so bright and the color is awful. No speakers, no plugs, no extras whatsoever. Sorry I bought it!

The Dell S2721NX 27" IPS LED FHD monitor is a great monitor for both gaming and work-flow. It has a sharp 1920 x 1080 display, uniform lighting, and fast response time. Setup & Design: Packaging is minimal. It comes with the monitor, the power cable, and one HMDI cable. The design is very sleek with a thin bezel around both top and sides. The buttons for power and navigating the on-screen menus are located on the bottom of the monitor. Performance: I tested out GTA V. It ran great with both my PlayStation 4 and Dell gaming laptop. Everything was sharp and I did not notice and response issues or ghosting with the monitor. I did some photo editing as well, and could see every detail. The LED IPS display keeps everything consistent from every angle, and in dim or lit environments. Features: The monitor is Full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution. It has a 4 millisecond response time to be sure there is minimal to no lag in gaming or viewing entertainment. The refresh rate is 75Hz. That is plenty for HD gaming. There are two HDMI ports. I used both my PlayStation 4 and Dell gaming laptop simultaneously. Switching between the two was a breeze. It does have a VESA mount, but it's underneath a cover behind the monitor. All in all, I can recommend to anyone looking for a new multipurpose monitor to pick up this one.

From unboxing to connecting and using it, this 27 inch LED monitor is very slick. I appreciated how when you open the box, it is easy to take everything out. I immediately connected the base since I'm using it on a desk but, the back is also mount ready and is VESA compatible (100 mm x 100 mm). It comes with a plastic cover to put on if you aren't using the wall mount feature. Additionally in the box is the power cord along with an HDMI cable. Once setup, I really liked the look of this monitor on my desk. The bezel is thin and the base is as minimal of a footprint as it can be. With two HDMI inputs, it's easy to set this up to connect to your computer along with a gaming system or two of whatever you have. The picture is bright and very crisp. I am extremely happy with how it looks whether playing a game, watching a movie or simply going through emails. I have not noticed any lag or flicker which the AMD FreeSync feature helps with. The screen resolution is 1920x1080 with a 75Hz refresh rate. All of this combined makes for a really good monitor that could definitely become your primary or second one dedicated to some of the more fun stuff when you need a break from work! I would certainly recommend this monitor!

The monitor was purchased for standard office use. The monitor performed as expected with no problems

I just upgraded from a 24 inch ACER monitor to the DELL 27 inch this morning. What an easy monitor to assemble and set up. No tools required to set this up. Only three pieces of equipment to get it assembled. Really cool feature that the screw to use for the stand to the monitor is a swivel screw with a hook so really easy to attach the stand to the monitor. Bonus too is that the HDMI cord was included which in the past when I have purchased Monitors I have needed to purchase that for assembly. The three inch difference in size is very noticeable and is the perfect size for my in home office. I am using a 15 inch Dell Laptop so the 27 inches really makes a difference. The clarity and brightness of the screen is excellent. I sometimes work out of the office and need to take my monitor with me on the road so the light weight is an added benefit. Also like the benefit of having two HDMI spots. I have not tried it yet, but I have an older laptop that I still use frequently and hoping that I can just use the one monitor by using the 2nd port. I am very happy with this purchase and would highly recommend to a friend that needs a monitor for basic office work.

The DELL - S2721NX 27" IPS LED FHD - AMD FreeSync - Visa Monitor is an amazing monitor. I am using it for editing images on my MacBook as well as on my Windows PC. I switch between the two systems and it refreshes quickly. The images and colors are very accurate and is of high quality. The build is quality and the stand worked well. I have it mounted on a monitor arm which it has the standard vesa mounting screws and holes so it took just a minute to install it on the arm. As far as the stand it took about 30 seconds to install and test before removing it and putting it on the arm. The images are very crisp. The text is very crisp and no light bleed or distortions of any kind. I highly recommend this monitor to anyone in the market to buy a quality monitor and is expecting a very good purchase. The width is just right to add to a desk or to a table. I have watched some videos on this monitor and those are very nice, including some 4k content which was very amazing, yes this is not 4k but that content looked amazing on this monitor.

To be honest Dell has been hit and miss in my experience. Some of their products are great, others not so much. This monitor was a hit. I was excited to upgrade to a larger second screen for my home office. This Dell monitor is super. Set up could not have been any easier. It assembles easily as well. Once I got it put together plugged it in and that is all that it took. My MacBook instantly recognized the new monitor. The monitor angle is adjustable. The settings on the monitor can easily be adjusted depending on light of area the monitor is in. The picture on the screen is very clear. I could not be more pleased with this monitor. There are no negatives that I found with the monitor. PROS include easy set up, easy connection to the computer, and ease of adjusting the settings. I would recommend this monitor for home or business applications. My previous monitor was a 21 inch screen and my what a difference the six extra inches makes! It is definitely worth the upgrade.

This 27" Dell monitor seems to be a near-exact match to the one we got in 2021. Extremely responsive playing a couple Steam games so far. Very good color and contrast with no blur to my or my son's eyes. Very sharp and clear for browsing and MS Office documents as well. Not too many stand adjustments other than tilt (some other displays have rotate, raise, etc). But I knew that before I received it and the height is just fine of my needs. Only 1080p max resolution, but I knew that as well. Good viewing from relatively wide angles. Quick and easy to hook up to HDMI. Awesome for our use as a side-by-side dual monitor setup with that older one. You'll like it as much as we do!

A perfect monitor for every day usage. Excellent for workspace apps such as Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.

This is a great monitor! It's not the highest resolution I've ever seen so for super detailed design or art work this is likely not a fit. I have it installed as part of a 3 monitor setup I use for gaming and for work. I've tested it as my primary monitor and as a secondary and it works admirably in both applications. The refresh rate is very nice when used for gaming. The setup is easy to do and very quick. Monitor is very light and easy to move around. The ways in which you can adjust the angle and height could be improved however. It's still got enough flexibility to be adjusted where you need it. Comes with all the cables you need so no need to buy an extra HDMI or anything. This monitor comes with a pretty robust amount of picture settings to play around with as well to improve and customize the way you like the image to appear. All in all, great product as long as you aren't looking for crazy high resolution. Simple setup and simple to use. Very plug and play no matter what your desk looks like.
