Really great monitors. Happy with the quality and size, almost like having four small monitors. Only small thing I would have liked a usb and or usb/c connection on the bottom of the monitors to charge things.

This monitor is great for all the qualities I was looking for. The built in speakers are pretty loud as well, I have to turn the volume on my video platforms lower. The quality is good for both work related things and for low rez games. I really enjoy it and works for what I was looking for.

Wanted to add a second monitor to use while working at home. Purchased this monitor to go with an earlier Dell 27 in screen. It works well, clear picture and good sound. While it doesn’t look exactly like the earlier model I have it’s not too different. The screen does not turn vertical.

This Dell S2725H LED edge-lit IPS display with integrated 5W stereo speakers is an affordable large format display with decent specs. It has a simple but elegant white stand with weighted base and is tilt-able 21° back and 5° forward, but the height cannot be adjusted. Note that while the screen can’t turn on this stand for portrait orientation, the rotation setting can be changed in the OSD (or via DCC/CI) when using alternative mounting solutions.
Setup is quick and straight forward; just insert the metal bracket of the support column into the latch on the back of the monitor until it clicks, then thread on the base with the thumbscrew underneath. The monitor and stand when assembled weigh 11 lbs, and the bottom edge of the screen sits 4” above your desktop with the total height being 18” tall.
The monitor has only 2 inputs, both of which are HMDI 1.4: one input is found along the underside of the panel along with the power port and Kensington lock slot, while the other input with a cable guide is hidden behind a removable panel on the back. The monitor only supports one input at a time and there is no multi-source like PIP (picture-in-picture) or side-by-side option. This monitor is VESA 100 compatible for alternate mounting options and, when not used, has a cover panel for a seamless look. The center column also has a detachable cable management clip for the HDMI and power cables at the back.
Its anti-glare matte coating and 300 nit brightness work well in brightly lit spaces while minimizing reflections and glare. At full brightness, pure black appears a bit gray, but I found even at 50% brightness the monitor is comfortably bright with truer blacks, good contrast, and no noticeable “glow” at the margins. This is especially notable since the bezels on the sides and top are paper thin while the chin is also quite narrow at just 3/8” tall.
One thing to note is that Dell’s “ComfortView Plus” feature is built-in and reduces blue light emissions up to 35% for reduced eye strain, but there is no setting to toggle it off. However, the colors don’t appear to be impacted and between 8-bit color depth covering 99% sRGB, various color profiles, and custom RGB adjustments, I found the colors to be vibrant, well-saturated, and accurate enough to be suitable for digital art and video content creation.
The max resolution is 1920 x 1080p FHD, and the 100 MHz refresh rate is fast, providing hi-def, smooth visuals while watching video, scrolling, and moving windows; the monitor is also suitable for casual gaming, though competitive-level gamers may want to change its default 8ms response time (normal mode) to 4ms (extreme mode). It does not, however, appear to support HDR nor any sort of vertical sync like G-Sync or Adaptive-Sync.
The monitor’s on-screen display menu can be accessed using the 5-way joystick on the back of the panel in the bottom right corner just above the power button. In the OSD you can quickly change the color profile, brightness and contrast, speaker volume, and input. It is easy to navigate and the quick functions are customizable. There is also a tiny white LED power indicator in the bottom-right corner of the panel that can be toggled off.
The speakers on this monitor are serviceable for downward-facing drivers, though far from audiophile quality. With relatively little bass response and thin, echo-y treble ranges, they are better suited for listening to spoken word content like podcasts, movies, shorts, and TV shows rather than enjoying to music. I do like that they are much louder than the speakers on my laptop but at max volume, audio tends to distort a bit. That said, 100% volume was much too loud for most audio content, and I generally have it set to 30%. There is no audio jack port for pass-through audio for use with headphones.
Overall, I found this monitor great for work and casual gaming, whether connecting it to a laptop, desktop tower, or gaming console. The display is large, bright, and the colors vibrant and accurate enough for content creation. The thin borderless bezels make it ideal for multi-panel setups, and the built-in speakers provide utility while saving space.

The Dell S2725H is a 27" IPS LED FHD 100Hz monitor that works very well for my home office and daily usage needs. This is a tilt only monitor, as it doesn't offer an adjustable height. There is 1920x1080p resolution with a 100Hz refresh rate that is good in most instances, but if you're gaming you may prefer a higher refresh rate. There are 2 ports available on the rear of this monitor, and both are HDMI. In the box you get a power cable, HDMI cable, the panel of the monitor, and the base/stand. There is a security lock slot on the monitor as well for additional security should you need it.
I really like the aesthetics of this Dell monitor in an ash white color. The ash white monitor also offers a subtle texture on the back which resembles Japanese sand raking, and offers a nice visual if the monitor is an open facing area to get noticed. The ultra thin bezel design looks great and helps to make the 27" screen look large and clear. The controls for the monitor are on the rear of the monitor and offer a joystick style control that makes navigation the menus fairly easy. The neck of this monitor offers a simple detachable clasp that helps with clutter free cable management. There are integrated dual 5W speakers that offer a nice immersive experience and help to minimize the need of external speakers on my desk space. These speakers are meant to offer spacious audio and more decibel range, and I've been happy with the sound quality for my virtual calls, productivity, and streaming media. Another nice thing to have with this monitor is the improved ComfortView Plus that helps to reduce harmful blue light emissions to help the all day comfort of my vision. Dell offers an Easy Arrange option with this monitor that allows for easy organization of applications, emails, or windows on one screen.
Overall this is a great budget friendly monitor that offers 27" of FHD clarity. I like the design and aesthetics as it gives off an upscale and classy look. It offers bright colors, which are vivid for my everyday usage.

Perfect monitor with blue light filter and tilting

This monitor has definitely exceeded my expectations so far. Out of the box, setup took approximately 5-6 minutes. That was with attaching the stand and the back covers on the monitor which hide all the cord connections. I love how clean it made it look. On the back you have the power button and a joystick looking button which makes navigating the screen settings a breeze.
When the monitor turned on and when navigating through different screens I noticed how calm my eyes felt. The picture wasn’t super bright but everything was nice and crisp. After reading on the display, I could definitely tell it had the blue light filtering built in. Working for an eye doctor, I know how important it is to protect your eyes from harmful blue light and this monitor nails it!
Another feature that was a huge win for me is the adjustable stand and the tilt screen ability. Dell really did well with the mobility of this monitor. Whether tilting up and down or swiveling left or right, you can do it all with ease with this monitor. When sitting at my desk, I find myself needing my monitor to be tilted down slightly to avoid reflections from the lights above. With this monitor the screen has zero reflection issues and is easy to move if I’m sitting or standing at my desk with the adjustment options.
The final thing that is an absolute win for me were the built in speakers. They have great sound quality and voices come through so nice and crisp. I didn’t realize how much I’d love having built in speakers vs having two sitting on my desk. It definitely cleaned up my desk.
For the price, this monitor hits the nail on the head. It has 2 HDMI ports. It comes with the power cable and a HDMI cable as well. Just buy it, you can’t go wrong!

I needed a monitor that wasn’t too crazy. I don’t need super fast refresh for competitive Vev gaming or a zillion inputs. I was looking for something that is going to sit on my desk and output what I need from my computer.
The IPS display makes text look great, everything is very crisp. The monitor itself does look very nice and clean, the bezels are extremely thin and small, and you don’t end up with some random black monitor. Overall, I love the design.
My biggest issue with some monitors is how unintuitive the settings are. You usually have four or five buttons on the bottom and navigating brightness and whatnot is a total bummer. Well, rejoice because this monitor is super intuitive. There is a simple joystick right behind the screen at the bottom right that corresponds with the display on the screen. The power button is right below that. If you press in on the joystick, you get the menu and the direction you push the joystick corresponds with the direction on the screen. Super easy, finally, someone gets it.
I picked my language and had it set up in no time. The settings are fairly basic, I Ieave everything standard and turn up the brightness. It wakes up when I jiggle my mouse and that’s all I can ask for.
I’ll note that there is a setting for refresh rate. Normal, fast, extreme. I can’t see fast refresh rates for whatever reason so that didn’t appear to do anything to my eyes but this thing goes up to 100 Hz which is really fast actually for a simple monitor.
A winner, in my book.

Dell - S2725H 27" IPS LED FHD white is a good looking modern appealing monitor.
Setup is super simple.... Plug and play basically. The speakers need to be setup correctly via Windows setting.
2 HDMI hook ups are easy to get to.
Power cord is the same. Easy to get to.
Ability to hide all the connections inside the back is nice and helps with as clean looking desktop. I do wish the stand could go up and down to help with viewing ease.
Screen performance is great... Refresh rate is awesome. I ran high graphics demanding game and there was lag or buffering. I also ran 8K video and no issues either. Vibrant color and tones are nice. Ease on the eyes of good. Fatigue isn't noticeable. Also speaker qualities are not too bad either.
Dell is always a solid purchase. I have Dell for work and several of my personal computers at home. I have had them for many years.
Solid quality for what you need it for what you need it for. I would recommend this product for what it is advertised for. So good job Dell.

Arrived nicely boxed, and safely. Opening there is a quick guide, but all assembly is straight forward. Attach base to stand, and snap into the back of the monitor.
This is equipped with a wire loom that snaps on the back of the stand, and some nice covers that enclose the back recesses, making for a nice finished look.
The stand can be easily detached by pressing the lock if you prefer to wall mount. Mount is 100mm X 100mm. I did note one downfall with the stand – it can be tilted, but height is not adjustable.
The controls consist of a simple on / off, and a small joystick for accessing the different menus. Brightness, contrast, color, audio, etc. are all accessed through on screen menus.
There are only two HDMI inputs, there is no audio output.
The screen presents a mixed bag. I find color rendition good, with vivid colors, and excellent viewing angles. The resolution is standard FHD of 1920 x 1080, with 100Hz refresh rate. Response time of 8ms will make for good gaming, and using other HDMI devices such as BluRay.
However, the 300nits brightness and 15,000 contrast results in a picture that has blacks that seem a bit washed out. Bright scenes and action will look great, but darker scenes have little definition between different levels of shadows in the darker areas.
Sound is excellent and has plenty of volume. The speakers do seem to have fairly good response, and full sound. Keep in mind, that since there is no audio output, you will be limited to the internal speakers.
I did feel that one star is forfeit because lack of height adjustment, no audio output, and some lack of definition in black detail.
But overall, in this budget price range, I can recommend this monitor as a good option without breaking the bank.... Good for action gaming on computers or consoles, or use as a BluRay display, etc.

If you’re looking for a reasonably priced HD monitor (not 4k) for everyday use such as office applications, schoolwork, or other basic computing needs, look no further! The Dell S2725H is a well-rounded monitor that is easy on the wallet. I was looking for a monitor to use with trading application, MS-Office applications with an occasional movie thrown in. The S2725H is a good balance between features and reasonable price. It has all the features I needed for my home office setup, it even has speakers built in!
Design:
The monitor is framed by thin black bezel with a somewhat subtle “Dell” logo on the bottom. It’s mounted to a clean looking white base that tilts. Unfortunately it is not height adjustable. It is VESA mount compatible, so that’s another option if you need it higher. On the back, it’s again, a clean white back with 2 plastic panels to cover up the ports. The screen has an anti-glare coating, so no reflections.
Specs:
The refresh rate on this monitor is 100Hz, good enough for most basic tasks (schoolwork, movie playback) but not fast enough for games. It also does not have the G-sync or Freesync technology. So if you’re going to play games, you’ll need a better monitor.
With a resolution of 1920x1080, it is not great for editing photos and videos. You’ll want a 2K or 4K monitor for that type of work. But for everything else, web browsing, movies, it’s fine, very good image quality.
Features:
This will be a short list, as the monitor is fairly basic. It includes 2 HDMI 1.4 ports, I would’ve liked to see USB-C ports as well, as my laptop doesn’t have HDMI ports. Not a big deal, I have USB-C hubs that include HDMI ports. Just more wires on my desk. While it’s nice that the monitor includes speakers, they’re, well, monitor speakers. Don’t expect great sound to come from them. If you connect a laptop to this monitor and prefer the sound from your laptop, you can switch between the speakers in sound settings that is found in the system tray.
Overall, this is a great monitor for the price that doesn’t look cheap. You can’t go wrong if you need a basic monitor.
Pros:
- Value
- Nice, clean design, simple, yet stylish
- Very good image quality
- Built in 5W speakers
- VESA Wall Mountable
Cons:
- Only HDMI connection (2 inputs)
- Height not adjustable

I would call this monitor a very good “middle-of-the-road” monitor and an excellent value for the price. Setup is easy and requires no tools. The base is screwed to the post with a thumbscrew, and the monitor itself is then attached to the post by a snap-in mechanism. Thirty seconds, and the monitor is ready to use.
There are two controls, both on the back. One is the power switch, and the other is a joystick that you press to bring up the settings menu. You wiggle or press on the joystick to select and adjust whatever setting you’re interested in adjusting. No problems here.
As far as the quality of the image, it is fine. Out of the box, the brightness was set very high for my taste, and I immediately lowered it to a more comfortable level.
One of the main reasons I call this a “middle-of-the-road” monitor is that the maximum resolution it can display, 1920 x 1080, is not the highest one typically sees on a 27-inch monitor. I have two 27-inchers on one of my computers, both capable of 2560 x 1440, and I find this higher resolution more comfortable to work with day in and day out. Of course, these other monitors cost more than this Dell, so you get what you pay for.
Interestingly, this monitor has two HDMI inputs. It also has no other types of input. I’ve never used a single monitor connected to two different computers, and, indeed, multiple HDMI inputs is something one usually sees on a TV set.
Another feature which makes this monitor more of a TV set than a computer monitor is the built-in speakers. They sound quite good and are much better than the typical, somewhat tinny sound one often gets with the audio capability built into a computer monitor. I never use the built-in speakers on any monitor I’ve used and instead add my own stand-alone speakers.
I complain about the lower-than-I-like maximum resolution, and yet I give the monitor five stars. This is because the monitor is fine for what it is and what it costs. If you’re on a budget and want a reasonably large screen size, this monitor will do you just fine. The high quality audio capability is a bonus.

The S2725H is a great looking monitor with great resolution and color rendition. The fact is I've never cared that much for white monitors, but this design really changed my mind. Few monitors these days look good from the rear and if your monitor faces outward, there's always the issue of trying to route the cabling aesthetically; but this monitor does a great job of routing as well as covering the back panel where the mounts go. I'm actually kind of sorry mine's facing a wall...
Of course looking good from the front is important and the monitor doesn't disappoint here, either! The image is crisp, clear and bright with great contrast out of the box. I haven't adjusted my settings since I deployed it, with the exception of switching between inputs. (Note: the monitor does feature auto input switching, but I have it connected to two older Linux desktops and they cause screen to stay on and not go into power down mode. Not an issue with the Dell - an issue with Linux drivers and hosts!)
And it's awesome that it has speakers included because the only sound support I have on the one connected machine is audio over HDMI. The speakers are actually better than I expected although they are a little hollow sounding. I did find that changing the sound equalization mode to standard made them sound more to my liking. There's a few modes available and it's worth it to 'audition' all of them to get the best results for your ears. I liked them enough that I took the old stereo plugins off the desk. The whole area's been aesthetically upgraded by this monitor...
In short, the S2725H is a great monitor for a reasonable price that includes HDMI speaker support. It would be a great choice for any use case, but especially in situations where the back of the monitor is visible and good cable routing options are required.

I’ve been through my fair share of monitors in the last six years. So I’m reviewing this from the perspective of someone who owns high end screens.
Before getting the Dell monitor I was originally purchasing it for an all in one unit that I can set in my kitchen counter and possibly stick a Roku in the back and not have to buy speakers. Just a mini TV with minimal footprint.
During the unboxing I was underwhelmed at first by how simple it was. I was used to RGB, sharp corners, and heavy bases and to my surprise it was actually refreshing. I’ve gotten used to extremely sharp graphics it was just nice to enjoy a monitor with a great refresh rate at 100hz and a matte screen that was flat and not curved. It was aesthetic and pleasing to the eyes because it hid the cables so well. There’s a small compartment in the back that houses a nook you can guide hdmi cables into maintaining that minimalistic look, and the compartment blends in beautifully. It sits on my counter and houses a Roku stick since it was too long to hide in the compartment.
The volume is surprisingly loud when it’s at 50 and that’s controlled by the multidirectional control stick in the back and the power button rests below. I use it mostly for when we eat and sit down at the counter or are cooking a meal in the kitchen. It’s brought a cool vibe to the kitchen, just haven’t found a way to control the volume wirelessly, which I doubt but that’s not the monitors fault. I’m very pleased.

The Dell S2725H is a great full HD monitor with excellent sound. The monitor looks great from all angles and easy to set up without the need of any tools.
The Good:
The Dell S2725H is beautifully designed with its near edge to edge screen. The cable management hides the cabling and the covers for the ports offer a uniformed design. I do wish the cables matched the back white coloring which would have completed the look.
The sound on the monitor is excellent with decent lows and great high’s and mid’s, you will not need to add any other audio speakers to enjoy your streaming/gaming.
Dell mentions its improved comfort-view plus which reduces blue light without harming color accuracy and from my usage the colors are not really affected by the reduction of blue light like on usual monitors. My eyes weren’t fatigued after using it 10 hours a days.
The screen on the S2725H is really nice and everything is crisp and sharp, the blacks look good and off angle viewing is decent. The brightness is only 300 nits, but I didn’t have an issue even in a bright room. The 100 Hz refresh is great for smooth scrolling and casual game play.
The bad
I had two issues with the monitor.
1. Is how it manages fonts in typing applications (word/notes/pages/excel) they all look jagged/bumpy, if this happens you will need to adjust your computers display settings/sizing of programs to fix the problem. What’s weird about the font issue is that it does not happen in browsers or games only typing programs that are on your local hard drive.
2. The other thing I wish was better is the stand. Although the stand sturdy the screen does wobble a bit if you set something down near it. There is also little moment allowed for the screen, you can only tilt the monitor and there is no side-to-side movement or up and down.
The monitor is decent for 90% of people out there and it has some of the best speakers of any monitor on the market. After fixing the text issue I can say I would recommend it to anyone in the market for a full HD monitor.
