The common hate toward VA panels on monitors is unwarranted... they use VA panels in TVs for a reason- and this one looks great. No issues with black smearing, and colors are better than I expected. I've tested it out for movies, gaming, video editing, and music production. Looks great and performs well across the board. Really happy with it, especially for the sale price! Definitely took some tweaking on the settings to get it to my liking, its not perfect right out of the box. Big size takes getting used to (and wish it could swivel), but other than that I can definitely recommend this monitor for a wide range of use.

The VA pannel is fine since the monitor is curved. The only thing with this monitor that it has no usb ports compared to its predecessor.
