Great monitor for the price with a great refresh rate

IPS monitors, with their IPS glow, poor black levels, and lousy contrast have driven me back to VA monitors, over and over. This one was no exception. I bought a highly rated IPS monitor, fought with it for a week, returned it, and bought this monitor. For competitive, high refresh rate gamers, and those who need wide viewing angles with no gamma or brightness shift whatsoever at the edges of the screen, IPS might be the way to go, but for the rest of us, VA panels are far more pleasant. I know about the shortcomings of VA panels, but this monitor surprised me. The blacks are seriously black. Reviewers are reporting contrast levels above 4,000:1, and I believe it. In a well lit room, the blacks are so dark that the backlight isn't visible at all. In a dim room, you can barely see it. Even more surprising is that there is no black crush. Every level of Lagom's black level test is visible. All levels of white are visible, too. The viewing angles aren't great, but unlike the VA panels of old, I see no brightness or gamma shift at the edges of the screen when sitting two feet away. Things have improved. My monitor has no bad pixels, no light bleed around the edges, and no clouding on an all-black screen. A black screen is just black, with none of that annoying IPS glow in all four corners. And finally... Yes, there is some black trailing on that Blur Busters UFO test, but it isn't noticeable in actual real-world use. I've played the Tomb Raider games, for example, and never noticed any smearing. Perhaps in a dark-on-bright background, fast motion scenario you might see some smearing, but for the casual gamer, the true blacks and great contrast are a no-brainer trade off. I trade monitors frequently, but will probably keep this one for a long time - until a 32" 1440p 165 Hz OLED monitor comes along that doesn't cost a kidney.

The screen is awesome the framerates are great too. Just wish it had a direct plug in for some speakers other than the head phone jack.

First, it is huge. My son wanted it. But I have to admit it is awesome. He likes as it magnifies thing for him and he eyesight as he is special needs.

At this size your displays just about need to be curved. This fit the bill, and for the price is hard to beat.

Very good monitor. I have been using it more than two years and it is still working great. The curve make it easy to see on both sides. I’m using it for architectural softwares and regular use and have never had any issue.

Awesome monitor for 1440p gaming , def will need to tweak some settings for the best color output but other than that very solid and it’s an enjoyable screen size happy medium between to big and not to small

I normally go for smaller and faster monitors when shopping but I decided to switch it up and man I'm glad I did! This thing is like a beast of it's own, amazing quality, fast refresh time, and you can't really tell the difference between it's smaller counterparts in game.

I bought this because my Dell 27" 2721DGF, the OSD keeps popping up and tried everything to get rid of it. I still have it and waiting for parts to fix it. But getting carried away, I have never gotten a curved monitor before especially when it's 32", but so far Dell has rocked it! I may buy another in the future so I can get rid of the 27"!
