I bought this for my mom for Christmas. Box and all said 27" but it measured to be a 24". Sadly disappointed considering it was purchased as a gift.

Initially, I was looking for a 4K monitor for gaming however given the current prices for true IPS 4K monitors are all north of $1000 I needed to bring my expectations back down to Earth. I re-evaluated my needs and wants and decided a compromise was needed. This monitor was going to be used primarily for general use (web, document editing, some photo editing, and gaming of course). With the higher than 60Mhz refresh rate and decent response time (6ms) at the $160 price point (on sale at the time of purchase) it really was an easy decision. Now that I have had it for a few days I have to say I am not at all regretting the purchase. I loaded up Fallout 4 with everything maxed out on my HP Omen 17t (Nvidia 1070 equipped) and there is absolutely no issues with tearing/ghosting. Of course it's not 4K but at this screen size it's hard to imagine how much better it can get at this price. I highly recommend this monitor. You will not be disappointed.

I bought two of these monitors and they have a great price. They are nice and big. Wonderfull picture quality. Mine were pretty well calibrated from the start. Dell has never let me down when it comes to monitors.

I bought this monitor primarily as a backup display for my PS4 and as an occasional second screen for my laptop when working at home. For both of these purposes this is an excellent monitor for the price. (I bought it during Best Buy's holiday sale at a significant discount on the retail price.) The visuals are crisp and didn't require calibration out of the box. The IPS panel is bright enough in daylight unless in direct sunlight. I have it set up in front of a window and viewing is comfortable all day. The monitor doesn't support vertical/portrait orientation, but the stand allows for some tilt along the y-axis (no horizontal movement, unfortunately). Two gripes I have about it are: a) the single HDMI port (the other one is a DVI port), and b) no audio jack, in case anyone wants to plug in a headset or speakers. But these don't bother me all that much and I knew about the cons before buying the monitor. I would recommend this monitor to console gamers who don't require 4K or HDR. I haven't noticed any input lag but please bear in mind that I almost exclusively play third-person adventure and action-RPGs. For a general purpose monitor attached to a laptop, the 27-inch size provides a lot of screen real-estate, and should be perfect for most needs.

This is Dell’s entry level monitor, but for the price its offerings are quite amazing. You have a 27” 1080p IPS panel with a maximum refresh rate of 75 Hz and AMD Freesync. The monitor looks premium, with a sturdy stand and a glossy bezel. There are some cons, which include limited ports (1 HDMI and 1 VGA) and no built in speakers. Unfortunately, there is no audio output jack on this monitor you can use to grab audio from the HDMI in. Included in the box is everything you need to get up and running. An HDMI and power cord is included for cables. If you’re trying to connect using VGA, you’ll have to find that cable on your own. Thankfully, VGA is being phased out and you can pick them up for cheap. I am glad the Best Buy associate recommended the 27” Dell over an 24” with similar specs I was looking at. It was such a great deal on Black Friday that I bought another one as a gift for my mom. You can go into the settings in Windows 10 and increase the scale to make icons and font bigger. The physical size of the monitor is big enough to increase scaling in Windows and still have a lot of space left over on the screen. Some concern may be with the 1920x1080 resolution combined with the 27” screen but in my opinion, it is not a problem. Small text still looks sharp enough and is readable. Your local Best Buy may have one on display, so I recommend you check it out. A feature that gamers and casual users will both appreciate is the 75 Hz refresh rate. This makes using the display feel more “fluid.” It is something that is not described but seen in person. People say that once you go to a higher refresh rate you can’t go back. It may not seem like a big difference between 60 Hz, which is still the standard, but you can definitely tell the difference. To make sure you are running at 75 Hz, go into Settings > System > Display > Advanced Display Settings > Display Adapter Properties for Display 1 > Monitor “tab” > Under Monitor Settings, select the Screen Refresh Rate dialog box and click on 75 Hertz. The steps are the same if you have a different monitor. You can use this monitor for PC gaming but there are definitely better choices available. This monitor features a max refresh rate of 75 Hz with AMD Freesync and 1080p resolution. If your PC is powerful enough, I would definitely suggest getting a higher refresh rate monitor like 144 Hz, with 2k or even 4k resolution (again, if your PC is powerful enough). You can even use this for consoles, just make sure you have an solution for the audio problem. In conclusion, Dell is offering an excellent monitor at an affordable price. I went into Best Buy looking for a decent monitor that didn't break the bank. at 28 inches, 1080p, and freesync, you really can't go wrong here. Unfortunately, there are downsides to owning a Dell SE series monitor. Because of the matte screen and minimal settings, the monitor does not get as bright as I want it to. another downside to this monitor is that it is not VESA mount compatible. I wanted a little more desk space while using this monitor because the stand that it comes with is huge, so I picked up a monitor arm and when I went to go attach it to the monitor, there were no holes to accept the mount. Albeit a lesson that I learned the hard way, the lack of VESA mount compatibility would have been a deal breaker. Aside from this, if I have to be nit-picky, I would have appreciated a second HDMI port as it does only come with one. Although I can't recommend this monitor to be used at a main workstation or media hub, for daily use as a second screen for emails, web browsing, and the occasional movie, this is an adequate option for those who are on a budget and wanna get the most bang for your buck.

This being my 2nd monitor, and being a DELL, I'm thrilled with the screen size. 2 monitors make working a pleasure, and increasing my production of getting work done that much faster. I have not noticed any flickering, nor have I been waiting for screen refresh, or any delays of any kind. Color is vivid. Makes work much easier and really....nice to see. Based on our IT person, these were a great deal considering we paid $480 for these a couple years ago at work when they were new. My price was $260 with tax for 2 of these. If you want a quality monitor, or 2, buy now, go pick-up as you'll be thrilled.

Was searching for a 24-27" monitor for my home office setup. Dropped into the local store and was thrilled to see these on sale for $119 shortly before black Friday. I guess they had a heavy stock in anticipation of the holidays. The price was so good, I decided to buy two and am happy I did. I have a whopping 54" of screen. My eyes aren't what they used to be as I get deeper into my 40's. The size makes a world of difference. Picture is sharp, set up was easy and I could not be happier. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!!

I got this monitor on sale and it being a dell, you know it works good , I'm on it right now. You cannot beat the price and quality of Dell monitors. It looks great and I have had no problems at all. The reason I bought this one is because my other Dell went out after 8 years of use it was a 24 " so this one is a little bigger . I hope it will last for eight years or more like my last one. You can't go wrong with a Dell monitor.

Nice for the price. The image is great but not incredible. A little washed out but many Led monitors are like this. But the color is actually very good. Skin tones were great out of the box. It is a large monitor for its resolution. But looks very crisp for its size. At 27 inches you may want to go higher resolution but this is for gaming for me. If I was doing a lot of photo work etc I may go for higher resolution. Bit for a large inexpensive gaming monitor it is really a bargain. I have spent so much more for so much less in the past. Amazing how prices have gone for things like this. If you are on a budget or just don’t care to invest in the best, then I think this monitor would suit anyone looking for a large screen that games well

For the price you can’t beat these. I needed a bigger monitor since I was going to be moving my monitor further away due to the way my set up was changing. Looks awesome! I want to get 2 more now.

With the holidays upon us, I set out to search for a suitable monitor for the new gaming PC I had for my young brother in law. The system was fairly powerful and was best suited for 1080p gaming at high framerates so searching for a monitor to suit these needs while on a budget was challenging. This Dell Monitor's 1920x1080 75hz display was beautiful and games look great while the screen refresh rate made things look even smoother. The AMD freesync eliminates almost all screen tearing in games. Overall very satisfied with the product!

This monitor is outstanding. Color and resolution as good as anything I have ever had, and for less than $130.00. How do they do it?

I was looking for a monitor that could handle heavy graphics for gaming but didn't want to pay hundreds of dollars. The price was right for this monitor and it was a definite upgrade from the previous monitor I had. I'd definitely recommend this monitor!

I snagged an open box one with when it was on sale and got this for $105. For that price this is a great monitor. Nice colors and viewing angle. I use it for Xbox One gaming and the occasional excel spreadsheet and both look great. Highly recommend!

I am using it with my MS Surface, works great. Can't go wrong for size and price..

It's a quick LCD show s a nice picture and the video and gaming capability is good is it a 500$ LCD screen no but does it do a good job yes simple in it's own right.

I was looking for a larger screen (last one was 23 inches). Considered a TV but all reviews pointed to a 27 inch monitor. The price could not be beat, easy install and great picture. Hopefully it lasts as long as my old one (6 years).

Monitor has good color and size is good for daily office use.
