The DELL SE2717HX 27" delivers up to and exceeds expectations!

great monitor, picture is crisp and clear. Easy to connect

Seems to have some issues with not recognizing signals from the computer and immediately goes into safe screen saver mode.

Great Monitor, Great Picture and and simple to install

I was skeptical at first, but never been happier once it's connected to my new rig with rx 480. Freesync work out of the box.

Bought this to use for business purpose, needed HDMI output. Clarity on screen is great..price was very reasonable

The monitor looks great! I only gave 4 stars because this monitor can't be mounted to the wall using a tv mount.

Good for the price. No height adjustment, and no USB ports. Have not used it enough to mention the speakers.

Generally I didn't like the performance and I returned it. Even a best buy sales clerk recommended another one.

I bought this for an arcade cabinet and really wanted to have an IPS display for the wider viewing angle. This was a BARGAIN at $149 (matched local competitor price). I needed it to support a VESA mount, but it didn't have one built onto the monitor. However, available online was a cheap adapter that plugs into the monitor that gave it full VESA mounting support, thus, it works great mounted onto a swing arm in the arcade cabinet. Picture is clear and sharp, full color and great viewing angle. 1 complaint is the lack of connectivity options, but for the price, I guess that's the trade. It has only 1 HDMI and 1 VGA connection, but no DVI and no 3.5mm audio. Again, value is great for my need.

I had a 24" TN display that has worked well for several years. However, I've been squinting down on text recently which has caused some eye strain so I looked for a larger 27" monitor. This Dell was priced pretty well compared to others, and immediately out of the box, the display was fantastic. I connected it to my Lenovo laptop and did not have to adjust any settings or calibration. The default settings were sharp, text was super clear, bright (even though default is just 75%), and the screen is huge. I know there's been some debates in forums about whether 27" at 1080p is not good due to pixelation and 24" is better at 1080p. General recommendation seems to be to look for 1440p for 27". I can tell you this 27" is not a problem at all, I see no pixelation sitting at about 18 inches from the monitor. This is just so much better than the 24" display. Don't worry about upgrading to 27" at 1080p, it's great and you won't want to go back. This monitor is IPS so I think that is probably the reason why everything pops up compared to my 24" TN display. Movies, Youtube, photos are 100 times better on this IPS monitor compared to the TN. I don't play games so I couldn't comment on that. Overall, highly recommended. Great quality and does not break the bank. I work at home in front of my computer every day so this is a good investment for many years of work and personal use.
