Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The important thing to remember if you plan on getting this is that its 27" and 1920x1080p, so the letters will look blocky unless you have a GPU that you can run anti aliasing on without a huge performance hit. It also helps to turn down the sharpness on the display to below 60%. Its also important to remember that the reason you're paying a premium over other 27", 1080p monitors in the $100-$200 price range, like the Asus VA27EHE 27" or the AOpen - 27HC5R Curved 27-inch Monitor is because it boasts 1ms Response time and 75Hz refresh rate as apposed to 60Hz, neither which most people won't get any use out of. I would personally recommend looking for cheaper 27" monitors or even 24" ones in the 1080p range, (you can usually get significantly better performance on 24" ones, not to mention 1080p image quality is better on them because of the higher pixel density) or you can aim for a slightly more expensive 1440p 27" monitor. 1440p monitors are usually more expensive ($225-$400), but they also usually have better refresh rates and fast response times in addition to the good image quality. I would personally recommend the ViewSonic - 27" LED Curved QHD FreeSync Monitor. It costs $280 and is a great value for its price with 2560x1440p, 1ms response time, both HDMI and display port inputs, and 144Hz refresh rate (for those who don't pay attention to these things, 144 hertz is a really good refresh rate).

After 35 minutes of use, the first one shut off. I unplugged the HDMI, then power cord. Come to find out, the area where the power cord plugs in is lose on both monitors. If you move the power cord AT ALL the monitor loses power and will shut off. If you even the wire it shuts off. Not impressed whatsoever seeing I just returned two of these for the exact problem.

Cheapest cheap monitor you can find. Buyer beware!

If anything touches the monitor screen it will scratch and break. It has zero forgiveness! If you do not baby this monitor it will break. Buyer beware!

no VESA mounting

NO VESA MOUNT

Quite disappointed

stopped working in a half hour
