Powering-up my Computer!

By that, I mean, when I first use the power-on button, the computer takes such a long time to power-up, stating that it can not find the internet! So I power-down the computer by holding the power button for 5 seconds! Once I see that it has completely powered-down, I then re-power up the computer. this second time it always finds the internet! Why is this happening? Please let me know the answer to this anomaly! Thanks!!

The geek squad transferred all my data from my old desktop to the new one I purchased there. All employees were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. I have returned and purchased additional supplies because of the excellent customer service received.

Loving my new Dell Computer
