Poor Scaling on iOS
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.If you are using a Mac and want the appearance of a 1440 display, take a hard pass on this monitor. I upgraded to it from a pair of 27” Dell Ultrasharp 1440 monitors with a MacBook Pro M3 Pro running Ventura. The scaling is very poor - worse than the 1440s run at the default resolution. The color is marginally better on this display and if you scale it to 1080, it’s phenomenal but you are losing a lot of screen space in the process. With Mac you want 100-DPI or 200-DPI so that if you scale you are using a factor of 2.0 such that the pixels get divided up evenly. Anything different will be blurry. I’m going move to a single Studio Display with a secondary 24” 4k monitor scaled to 1080. Please research before buying for Mac if you don’t understand the scaling that I describe.

Productivity Game Changer

The quality of the screen is great, vibrant colors, expansive size. The plastic shell is pretty sturdy, not as sturdy as I would have hoped for an almost $1000 dollar monitor but it sits on the desk so I don’t really touch it much. It just sits and looks pretty. The KVM and the multiple inputs and being able to display two computers at the same time is awesome for productivity.
