I love this monitor. I have the 2018 xps 13 and the docking station with these 2 running side by side. My productivity has gone way up. Not only is the colors crystal clear but they have plenty of connections in the back than you'd ever need. I work a lot with Excel and having the ability to rotate the screen right on the stand is second to none. I had to get two after testing one. The thin bezel makes it seem less and it really completed my office set up.

Excellent, High-Resolution Monitor for the Office!

It tried 3 different monitors before finding this one (and all the others went back) - excellent clarity, very solid build, no built-in speakers though (something I was looking for but not a deal-breaker) and 2560 x 1440 resolution which lets you fit a lot more on your screen, without it being too small. I have two mounted side-by-side on an Ergotron mount and they're awesome for the office (or for at home). It is the perfect blend of size (not overly big) yet more screen real estate thanks to the higher resolution. I first tried 27" monitors and they were just too big, and most have a standard "HD" resolution which is lower than this Dell - You will not be disappointed!

I bicycle to work so had my new monitor delivered to my office. The first monitor had a dead zone in the lower right hand corner. After the suggested diagnostics failed to rectify the problem, I called Dell - who made me go through all of the same diagnostics again before conceding that the product was defective. The Dell technician said that he would handle sending a replacement. Two and a half weeks later the new monitor arrived and when I confirmed that it worked fine, Dell sent a waybill to return the old one. The only problem was that UPS required me to pay them $7.25 ti pick up the package (as I said, I bike to work and taking it to a UPS drop-off was not a viable option). After several attempts to rectify the situation, I gave up. The low point was a 90-minute phone marathon during which I was passed to four different operators, each one requiring me to tell the entire story from the beginning, before the fourth one simply cut me off. I cannot imagine a scenario in which I would ever purchase or recommend a Dell product to anyone.

Best monitor in its class for the price

Perfect size for the resolution. 25 inch is a sweet spot. Any smaller and it would be at a 1080p window. 27 inch is perfect, but the next model up was almost $150 more. Any bigger than 27 inch, 4k would be much more ideal. This is all personal preference, but I've got a lot of experience with it all. So, for the price, it is the best monitor that is a IPS 1440p. It's a hit or miss for back bleed light. I got two monitors, and both had to be replaced due to light bleed and one also having a dead pixel. Other than that, the quality is overwhelming.

Using this for home office I do programming and a lot of remote connections that won’t run at 4K anyway. At 25 inch size the 1440 is the right resolution because I can’t imagine it being smaller text. There are newer, larger, and/or higher-end models but for the cost, you can have 2 of these beautiful screens.

Looking to run dual monitors along with the iMac 27", have been watching this monitor and it's surprisingly good. Matches the iMac resolution and the colors are a perfect match. I do photography for a living and find the monitor easy on the eyes and a great monitor for a reasonable price.

I think this is a really nice monitor with good resolution and image quality. The reason I'm giving it four stars is because the one I received had some back light bleed and a few dead pixels. You might have better luck receiving a monitor without these issues.

I bought this as a second monitor, about to go back a get another and retire my old scepter. It has brilliant colors and screen resolution. With the custom layouts you can create presets to have up to six windows viewable simultaneously.

I started shopping around for a monitor with the intention of purchasing a 4K display, however I realized soon thereafter my 2012 MacBook Pro did not support 4K output. So this was my next choice. I couldn't be happier. Color, resolution, size are all perfect and I love all the extras(USB 3.0 hub on back side, rotatable to portrait mode, sturdy stand that is highly adjustable). I would absolutely recommend this to a friend, and I would buy it again myself.

I purchased two of these to use together. Very good Monitors overall. Great Colors, Good Contrast. Very bright, Great adjustable stand, Easy to read text. No noticeable light bleed on mine, but I use them for work and am never in a dark room. No dead pixels. My only complaints are the capacitive touch buttons which are not as good as real buttons and the color temperature was noticeably different between my two monitors. I though since they were color calibrated from the factory that the white balance would match, but I had to manually adjust them both to get them close.

First of all this monitor is the most adjustable monitor I've ever seen with height and side turning. No more stacking books on my desk to get a monitor to be the right height for me. The screen is matte, non reflective, and sometimes screens that are shiny have a crisper image - not the case here. This screen has amazing resolution and crisp clear images for all my movies and gaming. You will have to check your computer's personalization options for font/image enlargement and also use the zoom option in your web browser if you end up having any issues with the size (small or large) the computer tries to display things based on a high res monitor. The standard display for most things on the web assumes you have the 1080p setting, not this larger setting. However, once you get your settings in order to work with this higher res everything looks beautiful.

    A good choice for a 2K monitor

This may not be the cheapest 2K monitor out there, and there are others in the same price range that have a slightly bigger screen. However, this Dell monitor has a very nice quality IPS panel, a great stand that allows you to change it from landscape to portrait mode, and a broad choice of connection options. Some of the competitors are for example limited to HDMI only.

This monitor may have been introduced in 2015, but don't let that fool you. I got 2 of these and they are great. I'm not a professional artist or photographer so covering 99% of the RGB space is fine. The higher resolution over a 1080 panel translates to much more useable desktop that is actual readable.

Purchased this monitor to use as my main display. It has very good resolution and I use the display port input, which was the main reason for the purchase. Good price for a monitor that has all three inputs, DVI, HDMI and DisplayPort.
