As a full-time interiors and real estate photographer, I've been working on the Retina iMac 27" for a while. Wanted to have a 2nd monitor for a more efficient work flow and decided on this Dell 25" to test it out. Well, the resolution matches the iMac and the color and brightness are quite close after a couple of minor tweaks on the color and brightness menu. Certainly pleasantly surprised. My first one had one dead pixel that was noticeable all the time, took it back after one day and got a replacement. This one is perfect.

The image is sharp, colors are true and image is viewable with no loss from many angles. This Dell Monitor is my third monitor on my video edit station. I chose it because mounted where it is in the top position, it needed to be viewable with no loss of image and it works great.

I bought this as my main display to edit photos from a Macbook Pro. The factory setting for calibration was extremely off, so I played around with the display settings to calibrate the screen for several hours but was finally able to get a perfect cast. There is a gamma setting for Mac but it's totally off. Once I got the settings correct and matching my macbook pro screen, it was absolutely amazing. The colors are rich and the dynamic range is perfect. It also doesn't produce as much glare as the macbook pro screen. The thunderbolt connectivity makes this extremely worthwhile for Mac users that are running out of USB or HDMI ports. I heard that the 27 inch Ultra Sharp is even better; this experience has led me to consider getting the 27 inch when I'm ready for an upgrade.

The Ultrasharp line is a solid pick for graphics professionals and casual users alike. I've owned a pair of 24in Ultras for a couple years and have had no issues with them, so I imagine this one will be similarly pleasant over the long haul.

This monitor is an excellent value for photographers needing true color. It's thin, easy to setup, and works with Macs, Windows PCs, and Chromebooks. The monitor even comes with an HDMI cable and a mini display port cable.

This monitor has a fantastic picture. I purchased this one mainly because it allows very easy height adjustment. I was pleased to find that it came with a display port cable and did not have to purchase one separately.

Enjoyed the monitor, its overall a very nice monitor especially for starting out for photo editing or digital illustration. I purchased the Monitor for digital painting, its colors are nice. Whites are whites, not yellow tinted. Nice bezel, nice stand, Matte screen. Con: touch buttons, Power button is very difficult to turn on.

I got this to replace the OEM monitor that came with my Dell XPS (about 5 years ago). It was not the cheapest out there, but its high resolution is a dream. Very easy to trade out. Buy quality, get quality.

The screen display using MS Word is outstanding. The words are clear and the text is concise. Have not used it to edit pictures but those pictures I did bring up on the monitor were excellent.

Was probably designed to work with a Windows PC. I'm using a MAC so I had to connect using standard HDMI. It's great to have enough space to open 4 additional windows and see them all.

I wanted a monitor for my home office that allowed me to display as much on the screen as my work one, and my MacBook Pro from 2011 had to support it, so QHD was the answer. I wanted to use a monitor arm to be able to get it closer to me when needed, and it has VESA support, It is also a USB hub, so even better. It has a display port out connection, so today I bought a cable to connect it directly to a second monitor — more screen real state —, so I’m pretty happy with it, I would definitely recommend.

I was looking for a 2k monitor would work well with my HP Spectre x360. I was always impressed with the panel quality of my Spectre x360, but then I hooked up this monitor and I was blown away! The colors are bright and vibrant, the whites are bright and untinged, the blacks are extremely dark and the backlighting is the most uniform I have ever seen on a monitor. Watching videos and movies on this has been a wonderful experience and shadowed dark scenes are never too dim. The contrast and black levels are so deep that I prefer watching content here than on the big screen in the living room. I do a lot of work on here without problem and the screen the perfect size to snap 4 programs in every corner and not feel claustrophobic. The height and swivel adjustments are also top of the line! The monitor can float up as high as 7.5 inches up from the desk has a wide range of motion for swiveling up/down or left/right. The only complaint I have is that the capacitive power button is sometimes unresponsive if nothing in actively on and connected to the display. I'm not sure if that's by design or just a fluke but it's honestly not an inconvenience since. Not enough to drop a star especially since the panel shuts off after about 5 minutes of no activity. Overall, this is one of the best panels you can buy even compared the best monitors from Samsung. I was extremely impressed with the quality of this monitor and it could easily compete with something in the $500-600 range.

I've read the reviews here, and I can clearly see why some people insist on tuning their displays with a color calibration tool. The color is quite different than my laptop, but I have no idea which one is off :). It's been years since I've updated my display devices, and I came across this unit and had to have it. 0 dead pixels out of the box, and my code is crystal clear. Pondering two more.

I had very bad eye strain and that is why I looked into these monitors. My eye strain went away 99%. I forgot I had it after a week. I highly recommend this monitor. I got two of them for a dual monitor setup and it works well. The image quality is very impressive. It is vibrant and sharp. My only compliant is that I have to hit the power button several times to turn off or on.

Replaced a three year old Dell and what a difference! The display is so crisp and clear. It was easy to put together and set up. Dell produces a quality product. Even better was I picked this up on sale at a local BB store after stopping it to see the display. I received great service from an associate and didn't need to think twice - bought it!!!

This monitor is perfect for my needs. I was originally looking at 4K monitors but saw where some people were having issues with scaling and the cost is high as well. This one seemed to be a good compromise on resolution, size and cost. It has a very solid base that pivots up & down and side to side very easily and is well built. It has 4 different connection options and other outputs as well that I am not using. I use the monitor for my Mac, PC and work PC; each one using a different connection method. I read the reviews about having to switch inputs manually being a drawback but the menu is easy to use so not a problem at all for me. The display is not as sharp as my MacBook which I knew upfront based on the resolution #'s but much better than the cheap Black Friday monitor I bought at BB that this one replaces.
