This is the best screen I’ve ever used. Had some from monoprice but nothing compares to how these look. Both cosmetically in terms of bezels and case and screen colors and visuals. Would recommend to anyone.

I purchased this as a second monitor to go along with an older Dell which I'm using for a MacBook. It came with the mini-DVI cable which was convenient for making the connection. I'm using the monitor for everyday e-mail, word processing, pictures, Excel, etc. For these purposes it is a GREAT monitor- it's bright and has a wonderful resolution. It puts the older monitor next to it to shame. I like this so much I'm going to buy a second one if they go on sale again.

The display is crisp, it's the perfect size - not to big but a large screen and I love that it's adjustable

I'm very happy with the purchase of my new Dell monitor. This thing looks great, the image is nice, bright and very clear. 25 inch is a great size for a second monitor plugged in to my laptop. There's definitely a big difference from my other 24 inch Dell 1080p monitor. Overall, I'm very happy with this purchase and I'm planning on buying another one real one soon. If you're debating if you should get it, I say go for it!.. I'm glad I did.

Beautiful colors, crisp images, low glare and very good view from various angles. Used HDMI cables to connect to computer. Adjustable height and tilt is very easy to adjust.

I wanted a more color accurate monitor to replace one of my 10 year old Dells (both still work perfectly BTW). I did some temp color correction for an indie feature film and the results were very good. It's not a broadcast/reference monitor but for price its a quality monitor and the 2K resolution is perfect for editing interfaces.

It’s the best in its class. Color accuracy and sharpness are great. One thing I can complain is that I chose instore pickup and it was delayed for more than 2 hours.

The monitor is easy to setup, easy to control, has good color and great resolution.

Everything I could need from a monitor is included in this box. You never think you need to be able to adjust it in as many directions until you play with it.

Very happy with this monitor. My only gripe is the odd button-less controls, which are unintuitive. But the design and display quality is top, and the USB patch-through helpful for a MacBook Pro setup. Good buy.

Working great as my desktop external monitor for my Surface Pro. It sits tall enough to be behind my Surface screen so that it feels very natural.

The Quality of the picture on my Gaming Desktop is Fantastic. The Easy Set Up is great, with in minutes i was playing games in 2K Resolution!

I replaced a 22" 1080p monitor with the Dell 25" Ultrasharp. I like my new monitor a lot. It is bigger and has higher resolution, which makes it easier for when I work at home. It plugs into my Late 2009 Mac Mini using the supplied cable and works at maximum resolution without problems using the display port connection. For the MacBook Pro that I use for work, I have a thunderbolt to HDMI cable. I have no problems with that setup either. I adjusted the resolution to one setting below the maximum, which I prefer. I also turned down both the brightness and contrast controls a considerable amount. The standard settings may be OK for an office, but they were too bright for me in my home. The 25" size is about as big as I want in my small living room-home office. My only complaint are the function buttons on the lower right corner of the monitor surround. They sometimes do not respond to pushes and it is difficult to read the symbols that designate their locations. This is perhaps not the monitor for you if you must frequently switch from one computer input source to another. The picture quality is about as good as could be expected, in my opinion. The monitor comes with a stand that is height adjustable and tilting. This was important to me. Many of the monitors are tilt only.

I chose this monitor because of (1) the brand name of Del which has a reputation for quality and reliability, (2) how this displayed compared to others on the shelf, and (3) because of the higher resolution this provided. I bought this along with the new computer which I reviewed thoroughly. I got everything home to set it up and could not connect it. It came with connectors that did not interface with the computer. I came back to Best Buy two different times to speak with the in-store Geek Squad which (first time) sold me an HDMI cable which they said would work, and (second time) said would recognize the connection when I restarted both the computer and monitor. Afterward, being completely frustrated I brought back both the computer and monitor with the thought of either getting this fixed or getting my money back. The third time, after fighting with a surly Geek Squad scheduler, I ending up with someone that was technically competent. This person had faught with this same issue the day before. The monitor has to be programmed to accept HDMI. The problem is the capitance type switches are nearly invisible even in very bright light. Once the Geek Squad rep had spent a lot of time the previous day he finally found the switches. The designer should have anticipated the difficulties people would have with this and AT LEAST mentioned this in their poor quality set up sheet (no manual of course). While this experience hugely frustrated me with both the monitor and Best Buy, because of the picture quality I would still recommend this monitor even with its design flaws.

I bought this monitor, brought it home and hooked it up to my Macbook Pro Retina. Love the look of the display. But, just after the 14-day return policy was over, I connected it to my laptop and I heard an electrical arcing sound. Now the monitors control board is blown and it will no longer connect via the Fireware/DisplayPort or USB. Not to mention that when I connected it, it destroyed the firewire port on my Macbook.

This monitor is a great buy and, I strongly recommend it for people who have problems with reading text or playing video games
