I originally bought one for my new home office to go with my existing Dell P2415Q 4k monitor but ended up liking the bezel and picture so much better than I bought a second one to replace my 4k monitor (since honestly, I hardly ever used the 4k resolution). No its not 4K - but the Quad HD resolution is more than enough for most work-related tasks. The ability to use mini-display port with no adapter is a huge plus for folks like me using this as a second monitor tethered to a laptop. Dell quality and low price make this monitor a solid value.

This monitor is a great purchase for most people. Great screen quality and a generous amount of connectivity ports and it's sized just right. I usually use two screens, but I find that I don't miss the second screen when using this monitor. The connectivity options are awesome with both HDMI and display port plus a built in 3.0 USB hub. One the the best purchase I have made in a while, so I got two.

This monitor is sharp and ultra clear. The stand is versital and can be displayed in a horizontal or vertical position. Very little edge on the top or sides if you want to use a dual setup this would work nicely.

This is my first monitor in years, the other Dell's I've purchased just don't fail. I went from a 4 year old 1920x1080 display to this 2.5x1.4K display. I was simply astonished by how much tech has advanced. I write software for a living, so quality displays are important to me. This is worth every penny. I do game on the side from time to time, and one must adapt to the increase in resolution and view range. I cannot speak for the color perfection - I'll let others address that. I don't see any issues, but others may be fussier than I am. Oh, one issue others might be interested in - will it work on an arm? Yes. I have a telescoping arm that is mounted to the back of the desk. When using these arms, monitor weight can be an issue - none here. I think this panel is about the same weight as the 24" it replaced. It will be a year or more before I know if this has the same reliability.

It’s a Dell ultrasharp. It’s a great monitor for the price. Picture is bright and images are crispy clear. No dead pixels found with extremely satisfied colors. It’s considered the top tier monitor in this class. I recommend this as a super buy.

I bought this because it was the perfect size to fit my desk space after returning a 4K LG 27" monitor that didn't fit. If you have the space, can afford the couple hundred extra bucks, and your main concern is breathtaking images, then do yourself a favor you'll never regret and go 27" 4K. However, if you have limited space and/or a middling budget, this monitor is a clear upgrade in picture quality from the sub-$200 "always on sale" monitor class. As others have said, the worst features are the power button and the pulsating white light when in sleep mode. The fix is that you have to turn the monitor off instead of letting it sleep which can involve a minute or two of squeezing the bottom right bevel of the monitor and hoping you finally squeeze just the right spot. Enabling button sound helps because the monitor makes a beep when you finally squeeze it just right. Also, it took a day or so for the monitor to "warm up". I was initially very disappointed in the image quality, but the next morning I woke up, turned on the computer, and was pleasently surprised by how much richer and deeper the color looked. Finally, the color accuracy and image quality is good enough to justify this monitor over the gaming specific monitors I have seen in the 200-500 price range if your priority is photo editing over gaming.
