Customers love the Ethernet port, portability, and compact size of the USB-C Mobile Adapter DA300. Many appreciate its compatibility with various devices and its sleek design. However, some customers find the price to be high and note that it doesn't provide power to the laptop, and only one video output can be used at a time. The adapter's performance has also received some mixed feedback.

Have not used yet, but it appears to be a quality build. Paramount to having flexibility of connecting peripherals. I like having Type-C connectivity for purposes of elevated transfer rates.

One of the few Dell products in which I've ever been disappointed. It doesn't have it's own power, which means users will need to connect at least two cables to a laptop (power plus USB-C for data). Plus, if you have a modern laptop with only USB-C inputs you can't even connect both a mouse and a keyboard through this as it's only got a single USB-A port. Underwhelming, and I ended up returning it in favor of the D6000, the old standby.

I love the compactness of this unit since it fits on a very small space, My XPS 13 only has one usb-c connector and nothing else to connect or charge other gadgets. So this module allows me to connect or charge my other essentials when out of my room or out of the house.

It is a good piece of device to have multiple devices for those laptops that don't have enough ports. However, the ethernet port is not as necessary as more USB -C ports.

I thought I would be able to use NVIDIA control panel to use my graphics card with an external monitor through this Thunderbolt dock. Nope. Everything that goes out through the Thunderbolt lags. I wasn't expecting miracles at this price point, but the only thing I am using it for is to plug in the wireless mouse/keyboard combo (which was half the price of this dock).

It works just as advertised and was well worth the money. I wish I'd bought it before I bought a couple adapters and a cheaper multi port add on that didn't have enough ports of different types. Just look at the pictures lol it's all there.

The gentlemen at the entrance took time to determine where to send me for the adapter. Once determined, I went to the directed department, upon which I was immediately taken care of. The overall experience was excellent.

Newer computers are not built with many ports. This provides flexibility and additional ports. Sort of an emergency kit in a puck. I like the built in retractable USB cord to connect it to the computer, nice touch DELL.
