    It's smooth, love typing on it. The screen and performance are top notch would have been five stars but the battery life is not great.

    Good hardware awful battery. It gets hot while working. The battery gets discharged very quickly.

      Here are the steps to help improve the battery performance of your laptop:
      1. On the notification area of the taskbar, right-click the Battery icon.
      2. On the options list, click Power Options.
      3. Select a power plan on the battery meter, such as Power Saver or Balanced. Windows 10 has a built-in 'Battery Saver' mode that can be activated to extend your system's battery life. The Battery Saver mode will monitor and limit background activity and other features such as push notifications. You do have the option to enable or disable this mode within settings or within advanced Battery Saver settings, you can customize the mode to best suit your needs.

      a) Click on the Action Center icon in the taskbar and select the tile for Battery Saver.
      b) If running Cortana, type Battery Saver into the search box and select from the results.
      Within the Battery Saver settings page, you will be able to turn on and off the feature and customize the feature to best meet your needs.
      c) Turn the Battery Saver On or Off.

    The trackpad and batter life are subpar. The scree, keyboard, and potential power are amazing. Unfortunately, the power needs to be dialed down otherwise the battery won't get more than 4 hours.

    Just get a MacBook Air

    Not a super great laptop unless you get it on sale. You can’t really game on it, it’s good for work and stuff but why spend 2000 on a windows computer when you could get a make book air for half the price that has a battery life literally 4 times as long. Only reason I could think of is if you wanted to game but it’s got integrated graphics so you can’t even do that. Go with the xps 15 if you really want a laptop that can game and preform

    My daughter is studying computer science. Out of the laptop we looked at this was the best. It fit all the criterias needed for her workload. I bought this for her September 2023 and it has given her no problems. I highly recommend this laptop to anyone.

    I got 2 units with similar problems, overheating, battery lasted less than 2 hours, blue screen. Really the quality control of this laptop left much to be desired. I returned them. I had had previous issue with all dell xps series, Dell premium laptop for the las few years. I need to seriously think about it to spend over a couple thousands for defective laptops. Dell customer services is not best to say less.

    Pros: Impressive display Touchpad works great Neutral: Capacitive function keys (fine, but honestly would prefer physical function keys. Kind of seems like different for the sake of different. Negative: Battery life (using normally with Chrome + citrix apps gets me about 4 hrs). Runs HOT (when chrome starts the fans, it is *very* uncomfortable to leave on the lap or even resting my palms on it. Save your money and get the regular XPS13 and give them another year to work out the issues with this new design.

      We would like to thank you for taking the time to provide us with your feedback. We are glad you like some of the features of your new Dell XPS 9320 but we are sorry to hear that you are not 100% satisfied with it because it is overheating and battery performance is not as good as you expected.

      To help with overheating issue, we would recommend making sure the BIOS is up to date on your PC. I have provided a link to the Drivers and Downloads page so you can check for and do any applicable updates. Dell has also released an Intel Power Management Utility to help with the overheating that you may be experiencing on your computer. For this package to take effect, the system power plan must be set to Balanced under the Additional Power Settings. Also, the Power Mode option that is displayed when you click the battery icon, should be set to Better Performance. This package only takes effect on AC power and not on battery power. The Intel Power Management Utility can be found here - http://dell.to/3tStRgX.

    Extremely pleased with the Dell XPS 13 Plus

    I spent a long time and did a bunch of research before purchasing the XPS 12 Plus. I compared Lenovo, HP, and MS Surface devices with similar configuration (2-in-1 wasn't a priority for me). Nearly every review has a different "best" choice. Everyone I talk to has their personal preferences. For my needs the Dell is outstanding. Between work and home, I've owned or used a half-dozen Dells over the past 10 years... without a complaint.

    This laptop has been an incredible disappointment. It's supposed to be top of the line with a great processor and tons of RAM (32 GB). In reality, it freezes on me at least once a week while on a video call, I've had recurring issues with the sound where the laptop will stop making sound. I solve that by uninstalling and reinstalling the driver (good times from a brand new "premium" machine). Finally, the battery - if the laptop performed excellently, I'd forgive the poor battery life, but averaging just over 3 hours with a dimmed screen is ridiculous. I tried to return it to Best Buy and was shocked to learn that they only have a 14 day return policy. Now I may be stuck with what I think it a POS laptop.
