Dell XPS OLED without the OLED

Its a Dell XPS! with a 1TB SSD hard drive and an awesome graphics card. I had one issue early on with WiFi. I rolled back an update and voila, no issues. I wouldn't recommend for the novice user, but definitely for intermediate and above.

I charged it the night before and unplugged it during set up. It was unplugged for about 25 minutes in battery went down to 44%. In addition, the keyboard lights up when you're typing on it. Not a great idea considering that keyboard is white. So as you're typing you start to lose the numbers and letters. Take your hands away from it and you can see them again when the light goes away. Poor design. The camera is also sub par for the money. I also contacted someone from technical support And after about 10 minutes, I was disconnected. No one called back. I will be returning this product.

Too many issues

Owned for 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Graphics are amazing, however, the reason I'm giving this a one star is because I've had so many issues between the audio being messed up, screen freezing, unable to upgrade the drivers that the dell app itself is saying can be upgraded, etc. Overall it's a hot mess. I heard Dell has poor quality control, so maybe I got a defective one. I plan on asking for an exchange and hoping it's better. Until then, I don't recommend the computer.

Below I have provided troubleshooting steps to help you get started in correcting the issue. I have also provided the troubleshooting link below with further steps if the few I provided do not resolve them first.
Fix 1: Perform a hard reset
A hard reset helps drain static electricity that may be causing the power issue. To perform a hard reset, follow these steps.
1. Turn off the computer.
2. Disconnect the power cable (for desktop computers), or disconnect the AC adapter and remove the battery (for Dell laptops with removable battery).
NOTE: For Dell laptops that have a nonremovable battery, learn How to Reset Real Time Clock (RTC) to Recover Your Dell Laptop. For Dell laptops with removable batteries, see the user guide of your Dell laptop for step-by-step instructions to safely remove the battery.
NOTE: On select Dell Latitude laptops, learn How to Use Forced ePSA to Recover from a POST or Boot Failure.
3. Disconnect all devices such as USB drivers, printers, webcams, media cards (SD/xD), except the keyboard and mouse.
4. Press and hold the power button for 15 to 20 seconds to drain the residual power.
