DELL XPS 15
This new DELL XPS 15 is a premium Laptop that can be used for both work and play. The multi-core processors worked seamlessly with some complex documents like Photoshop and Quickbooks. I was able to multitask with different programs with ease. The Dell XPS 15 s supported by powerful features like a 15.6 FHD+ screen -12 Gen Intel i7 -16GB Memory NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Ti 4GB Graphics. The video images on the screen are crisp and clear. The screen produces great images with dark black levels and excellent color reproduction. The quad speakers produced above-average audio sound. Although this is not a gaming computer, you can get playable frame rates with some games. The laptop has 2 Thunderbolt 4 (USB Type C) with Display Port and Power Delivery, A 13.5mm headphone/microphone combo jack is also included. The SD Card Reader makes it easy to transfer photos and video images. It also comes with a separate adaptor for USB Type A and HDMI. If you need more like Ethernet or multiple Type A connections, you have to use a mini hub. I found no issues with the Bluetooth or wireless features of this laptop. The quality of the 720p infrared webcam is of good quality. The carbon case surrounding the backlit keyboard enhances the keyboard and the touchpad. The keyboard is comfortable, quiet, and easy to type on. The touchpad is smooth and accurate. The battery life is about 9 hours, depending on your usage. it takes about 2 hours to fully charge the battery. You will be delighted to have this power horse computed that can challenge all of your computer-related tasks.

When I saw this laptop had shipped, I was pretty surprised to see the package weight was 8 pounds. When it arrived, I saw why. The packaging was amazing, premium. Inside the shipping box was a hard box with magnatized closure and everything laid out beautifully. Well done.
Let's talk specs. The display is 15.6 with 1920 x 1200 resolution. It's bright, and the anti glare makes it gorgeous.
The 12 Gen Intel Core i7 gives PLENTY of processing power to keep the productivity pumping and multitasking at its peak.
The 16 GB DDR5 4800 Megahertz Ram is my starting off point for Ram in a computer. It's a good base for keeping all applications and in windows 11, desktops running smoothly.
The Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050 Ti with 4GB memory is great for most gaming needs.
The 512 SSD, is also my minimum storage for a computer due to the size of the latest games and other storage needs.
The build is nice, solid. Laptop feels very sturdy. I do miss having a 10-key. The keyboard is nice though. Very tactile. The touchpad is ultra sensitive and huge. I like the size, but sensitivity will pull your cursor if you accidentally touch it if your typing just like my first dell laptop I ever had. But I'm getting better at keeping my hands up now. lol.Speakers are good quality. I wish the camera had a cover for when not in use. I've really had a good time working on this laptop but did get a bsod after installing some software. I'm still trying to determine the cause of the crash, but since the restart, everything is working smoothly. Overall I'm happy with this laptop.

First, Dell always makes a quiality computer and this one is no exception. Let's start with the Pro's:
* Amazing screen. Very high quality FHD+ screen that is very crisp.
* Very small bezels. I really like the trend of small bezels for larger screens.
* Latest processor family. The 12th generation Intel processor is a nice touch. Too often you see companies putting in a non current processor to save some money.
* 16GB RAM - this should be the minimum of any computer you buy these days. To be able to keep up the trends in technology and operating systems, this is the way to go.
* Small and lightweight - Even with the large screen this is thin and light weight. Not a problem to carry around.
* USB C charging - no more proprietary charger which is a great feature.
* Metal body is premium feel
Cons:
* Price - I havent priced this one out against comparable systems but a price over $2000 seems a bit high.
* Keyboard - feels a bit cheap.
* Maybe an i9 processor for the price?
Overall this is a great machine if you are looking for a mid - high range specs. It will serve you well.

The XPS 9520 is an improvement over the previous model in CPU performance and in efficiency. It has slightly better battery life and despite having a lower GPU clock than the 9510, it offers similar if slightly better gaming/rendering performance as well. This is a great device to get for those looking for a MacBook like experience with a Windows laptop.

Love My Dell XPS 15 Laptop

I have had other computers and laptops other than Dell and this is my 3rd or 4th Dell. As a consumer that uses my laptop for my home based business, I could not be more satisfied. I have never had a problem with Dell, but I am not a computer "geek" that know everything about this. When I received this laptop, there were a couple instances where I needed assistance from Dell, and they were very helpful, took over my computer and removed the issue that I was having. The issue was something that I created by trying to install a product but had a problem with the item.
I purchased this laptop with a 16 GB memory and 512 GB SSD, which is my first SSD. It is extremely quiet and I am not having any lockups on my screen. This particular Dell laptop did not come with a touchscreen, which would have been nice.
I always believe that you get what you pay for and this is a great laptop for me. I would definitely recommend this Dell XPS 15.
