Right beside the heatsink, so maybe its' getting too hot? I'm not putting under any load, and it's got great airflow around it. So, I can only assume that Dell has lowered their standards on the casing material. PS. I reached out to Dell and they told me that it's not even covered under warranty. That's fun. Thanks for not being helpful Viqas.

My previous Dell XPS is still running well 3 years later.

Using for business and personal so not sure how Gaming would be but it wasnt purchased for that. Loads and boots fast, all USB C which is nice for data and charging.
