    Nice Laptop, A Bit Pricy...

It’s a good laptop, a little pricey but your memory and ram are upgradable so it’s ok getting this one for the gtx card. I’m able to run some intensive tasks like 3D rendering and some light gaming, but don’t get this if you want to game it’s really a business or productivity machine. The build is really what you’re paying for and it’s on par with Mac Books, so if your an Apple fan this laptop is as close as your going to get to Mac’s on Windows.

Very nice product, as expected. I m used to xps and this 15 is on point to home office, I would recomend a Dell Docking for charging and another monitor.

I purchased this for online meetings and development. While the computer is fast and powerful. The camera is not great for video calls. It is quite grainy. However for development, speed it is great. Now that it weights over 4 lbs but keep in mind it also comes with a 15" monitor which is great for seeing more things at once. The keyboard is wonderful to type on, but the battery life and speakers could be much better. I'm getting around 6 hours using Chrome browser.

Absolutely love this laptop. A little on the heavier side but still smaller than the older 15.6inch machines. Upgradeable is a major plus. There was the issue with the touchpad. It seems a little more loose than other machines but not a deal breaker so far.

It is a great Laptop but it could have more USB 3.0 ports. I had to buy a hub to achieve that. Also, It took me too long to get a support rep on the phone for a question I had on the set up of the PC

Excellent computer. My wife loves it. I was able to get good deal on an open box unit. At the price I paid, this is a fantastic computer. The touch pad does have a bit of a wiggle to it, and I'm guessing that's why it was returned by the first purchaser. It was otherwise mint! My wife hasn't noticed the wiggle, and is in love with it. She's already purchased a lot of accessories to go with it, so I know it was a good gift :)

Its come under some criticism due to the trackpad double tap. My answer to that... use a mouse. I hardly ever use the trackpad, so even if my model had the issue... it would not be an issue. I love the machine. It looks great, it is fast, great screen, decent speakers and too notch keyboard. And pretty light for what it is.

Very surprised with the quality of this laptop. I previously have been using MacBook Pros but needed a real windows computer for work. I would say the build quality is just as good as Apple. Thank you Dell for including SD Card slot, some reason Apple doesn’t think anyone needs these. This thing is fast, surprisingly. Battery life is decent. Love the black interior. Great screen, can’t believe it is not 4K. Don’t know what kind of magic they are working but looks higher resolution than it should. Only complaint is trackpad, it is fine but not as good as Apple

+Great metal build, eye candy screen, super fast, nice soft keyboard, can do decent gaming MK 11, Street Fighter V, Borderlands 3, Need for Speed Heat, Ace Combat 7 -Glitchy left side of trackpad, tricky to open with one hand since it does not have a bevel to make it easier, expensive

I originally bought the XPS 15 directly from Dell, and it was Dead on arrival, would not boot from the get-go. So I went to my local best buy to purchase it there. It booted up, but had the infamous wobbly trackpad issue that XPS 15's are known for having. I'm rating this 3 starts because I want to give this 5 stars, but for a machine at this price-point these issues should be non-existent. I'm awaiting my laptop from Dell support, hopefully when I receive it I can update this to 5 stars.

      IAmMrJuice,

We appreciate your feedback. Dell is aware that some XPS 15 9500 customers might be experiencing an issue with their touchpad. We have identified and resolved this issue on systems shipping now. While functionality is not affected, it does not meet the stringent quality and experience standards we set for ourselves. Thank you for reaching out to Dell Support to have this fixed for you.

      Best,

Pretty good product from dell. The First time setup took some time for the OS to boot up. It was all good after that initial hickup. The built-in mouse is too sensitive. So I would advice to use an external one.

The Dell XPS 15 is an extremely high-quality computer. The computer itself is sleek, the screen visuals are incredible, and the keyboard is very easy to use. The upward-facing speakers that this model has also drastically improved the sound quality. Would recommend this product for anyone that is looking for a do-it-all laptop.

It's fast and the display is wonderful. When I got it in 11/07/2020 , it did not have the track pad issue. My only tiny issue is the a little less than average battery lifespan from charging it.
