The screen is the nicest non-oled display i’ve seen and the 3 USB-C ports increase the premium feel. The sound is excellent and the keyboard is too. Nonetheless, for those looking for the best value for dollar it probably is not the machine for that.

I tried multiple laptops and it still had the same bad hinge problem. So remember to test it after a couple of days of usage.

The sales person was knowledgeable about the product and also took the tine to ask how I would be using my computer and recommended features and capabilities of different computers which allowed me to make a purchase that would meet my needs. I really like my new computer. Set up was a easy and I was able to be up and running in less that 10 minutes.

Avoid Dell's Terrible Quality Control

Second Dell XPS 15 I bought directly from Dell had a wobbly trackpad, a problem Dell claimed they solved back in June. Now, I bought a Dell XPS 15 from Best Buy and lo and behold, it has BOTH a screen that doesn't stay closed when you hold it vertically AND a wobbly trackpad. I would avoid these laptops.
