    First, the good. Screen is incredibly vibrant and a far cry from my old laptop. It's just beautiful to look at. Speed is great, and this one is really quite loaded up. i9, 32GB, graphics card, and 1TB hard drive. Really have enjoyed it. Played a few games and very powerful, no issues. Now the bad, unfortunately. As others have pointed out, mousepad is huge. And I continue to have the left bottom pad stick quite a bit. I have to tap it several times to get it to release. For this being a high touch, mechanical item on laptop, it really shouldn't be producing this behavior after a few days of use. Second issue, the black out screen when closing the lid. I open it, and nothing shows up. Touch keys, esc, screen, nothing.....still black. Touch power button, nothing. Hold Power button for 10 seconds and then it comes to life asking if I want to shut down. Say no and then you are back to work. This seems to occur maybe 50% of time. Likely a software issue but still, not good for it being a few days old. Minor, Keyboard is offset and you want to naturally place your fingers at certain spots. It does really takes a while to get use to, But you do eventually its OK and not a deal breaker. Finally, connections. Why are we forced to USB-c only?? Why do I have to get a separate hub to connect HDMI, USB?? This is frustrating that we need to carry another piece of equipment to connect our other devices. As much as I really wanted to love it, I will be returning and getting the less-featured HP x360.

Below I have provided the steps to run The Windows Power Troubleshooter to help resolve the black screen issue when opening the lid.       Run Windows Power Troubleshooter
      1. Open the Power Troubleshooter
      *Click on the Windows Start Button and type Troubleshoot, select the troubleshoot icon that appears to open the troubleshooter
      2. Scroll down through the options and select power
      3. Click on the Run the troubleshooter button
      4. Follow the on-screen prompts and see if it resolves the issue

    Performance is great but battery life is extremely poor! 2 plus hours is what Dell claims is the expected battery life. If you need portability take a pass on this one.

    I have this laptop for two years now and I have no problems with it. It’s an excellent investment for me as I do videos and graphics at home.

    Up to this point, best computer I’ve ever had (new computers every 2 years since about 1995!!). Only issue of note is it runs hot. But i still love it!! David

    Great laptop! Very lightweight and powerful! I enjoyed the face recognition and working fingerprint sensor - if you are wearing a mask, can still unlock with fingerprint. I only had to return it because it arrived with a cracked screen.

    Good laptop but has its hiccups. Screen goes black opening closing lid. Quiet. Does not get super hot on the lap. Good laptop. Thinking about that 4k duo from asus coming ..... hmmm

    Decent laptop but lacks quality in detail

    Overall this laptop has been decent experience. I had to return my first XPS 15 9510 because the OLED screen would flicker in color but this 2nd set hasn't been much better. My #8 key popped out for no reason and my touchpad will not function properly (I will click the left side but half of the time the right click function will operate instead). DELL's customer service is telling me I will get a refurbished keyboard / touchpad by January 23rd, 2022 (2 months after I report). I am having some slight other minor issues. The battery life is decent as I am able to get about 6.5 - 7 hours doing basis email and web surfing. It is overall a decent laptop but lacks the detail in quality.
