After extensive research, this laptop is #1 on the list. The 2-in-1 form factor is great, especially for photo/video using the pen. Sometimes you can hear the fan running but overall laptop doesn't get excessively hot. While you can upgrade from a 256gb ssd, you cannot do so on the memory as it is soldered onto the board. So go for the most memory you can afford. Keyboard has a nice feel (low key travel) but after 1-2 days you get used to it. The 4K screen is the best in class. Highly recommend.

I bought this PC for a friend's son who does programing. Wow is it fast. Graphic are great and performance has been flawless. Keyboard has a nice feel.

I’ve owned this laptop 2 times. The first time, my xps 15 2-in-1 kept crashing. So I returned it and got a new one a few months later. The second time was recent. I purchased it on May 24th and it was a much better experience. The laptop is beautiful, it’s got a nice, gorgeous 4k display. It’s snappy with boot times and file transfer. For work purposes, the laptop was great. Unfortunately, I had to return the laptop due to its keyboard. The laptop is one heck of a beautiful machine, however, the keyboard is far too irritating to use. It has little key travel, just like the MacBook pro’s butterfly keys. TL;DR Great overall experience; bad keyboard. Oh and, expect low battery life when used in full performance mode. Can help if you switch to low power mode.

This Dell really impresses me, and I'm not easy. I also have a '17 Macbook Pro, and a Surface Book 2. I was looking for an all in one that would be easier to carry around, write and draw on the screen, handle the Adobe suite well-- and this slick one is perfect. I love the build quality. I love the grippy feel to it. Stylus works perfectly...I'm an artist who uses it for drawing, photo editing. Keyboard is great. Trackpad is as good as my Macbook Pro. Screen is amazing-it's super bright and crystal clear. USB-C ports only (there is 4 of them) is fine for me...I got used to usb-c only when I got my Macbook Pro last year. A few adapters and I'm good to go. My only complaint is that it will feel hot on your legs if you're sitting with it on your lap doing serious work...not a big problem, I got a chill mat to put under it when I do that. Fans were loud when I first got it but after the bios updates they're quiet or silent for the most part. All in all I've become a huge Dell fan with this one.

I have got my laptop 2 days ago and since then I am having terrible fan noise issue. The features are amazing, Screen is great, and the performance is tested with different types of benchmarks and I can use it with pen in my photoshop very easily but the fan noise is killing me, I can't stand on the noise, even if the laptop is super cool and not using it for nothing, the fan is kicking and I feel like I am in an airplane. If they cant find a solution soon, I will have to return it back.

I loved this 4k version of Dell - XPS 2-in-1 15.6". My only problem was the Battery. It lasted only 4-5 hrs on just Office (Word, Excel) work. I had to return & replace it w/ the regular Dell - XPS 2-in-1 15.6". Great Battery Life here!

I bought this computer for my business because my old one just couldn't keep up. My old computer was taking 30-90 minutes to load Adobe Premiere and this one loads it in about 1 minute. You saw that correctly, 1 minute! My project had 265 4k video clips in it also. I love this computer so much, I want one for home! Extremely happy with the results. Some of the things I don't like is how loud the keyboard is when I type. And it holds oil. After day 1, the track pad looked a year old. Switching to USB-C and micro only is an adjustment also, since all of my cameras us regular SD cards. It does come with one adapter, but I had to buy one to use more than 1 USB, ie) mouse and a jump drive and my external. I'd still buy another one though. I love the pen that comes with it, the touch screen and that I can change it to a tent or tablet if I want also. I think it has just about everything. And the screen is 4k.....yeah, it makes a difference. Oh, and this decked out model is less than the basic starter Mac with the same features. Well done, Dell, well done.

Best display, solid performance, perfect for streaming, 2in1 attributes are strong, decent graphics card, vivid color accuracy, but mediocre battery. Battery still good for 4k laptop.

This laptop has great performance but... Rather have an SD card reader rather than a micro SD and swapping ssd should be easier. If you thought you can swap out the m.2 ssd would be 123 it's not. When replacing the ssd you'll need to disable some options in bios in order for the computer to see the replacement drive. Replacing the drive should be, remove, insert, boot up and install os. Shouldn't have to go through bios and find the option to allow the computer to see the drive. I'm probably nic picking problems... But other than that the laptop is a great performer. Handles all of blizzard entertainment games, cs:go, and my engineering applications.

I was looking for a computer whose speed could not be rivaled. I have found that in this box store computer. Dell does not disappoint. Great speed. Start up time is blazing fast. 4k screen is outstanding. Dell provides periodic machine maintenance to keep up with my busy schedule. I highly recommend.

This 2-in-1 will meet every one of your needs possible. I own majority Apple products but couldn’t justify the high cost/low performance Macbook Pros. This is way better anyway. Plus you can download iCloud and get all your files from your other Apple products anyway. It has great performance. The screen is beautiful. It can game too! It is the master of all trades. I do have some slight issues with the touchscreen, as it not quite as precise as I would like it to be sometimes. The fan noise quieted down after I downloaded some updates to firmware and bios upgrades. Highly recommend.

This is the top of the line quality and technology 2-1. I had to return mine due to a dead cpu of only 3 days. Its a shame because its really an amazing laptop for creatives with casual gaming on the side. Gaming I was getting 40-60 fps on almost all AAA titles that I tried with high settings. The pen responsiveness was better than my surface 3 and the extra screen real estate is great. But the downside- is the fans (always loud), occasional heat issues, and drivers for the intel/amd gpu. Some applications don't recognize what the gpu is. Battery life is decent for 4k, only 4 hrs but the screen is the best i've ever seen.

I so far like my Dell XPS 15 2 in 1 it works great and I love the option that I could use it as a tablet but I don't also have to use it as a tablet I just like having the option to and the keyboard and touchpad work great and it is fast running as well good choice for a laptop for college.

This laptop is incredible it is amazingly powerful and portable with the most crisp beautiful 4K display This combination is rare in the laptop lines you will need adapters as it only has USB-C ports but it’s a small inconvenience for what this laptop offers I would definitely recommend

This is a very sleek and modern computer. I haven’t purchased a laptop in a while so I didn’t realize how much they’ve progressed. I love the touchscreen and how it anticipates what I’m trying to do. It pulls up websites and give me a history for the last week. It’s fast and nice looking!

I picked up an open box for a very good price. Clean looking, nicely built, great 4k display Laptop with decent specs for content creation. If you don't bother about full size SD card slots and lack of USB 3.0 ports, and this one is good. We are not yet into a stage where everything can be connected only using Type-C ports. It is shame that for such a nice laptop you have to carry an adapter everywhere. I returned this laptop only for that reason.

Great product but with kinks&flaws. The hard drive is blazzing fast but too small. I would need to spend extra $$$ on more space. Every product needs the old USB port no matter what in my opinion. Not having USB is like a car missing a wheel. Laptop is missing regular size memory slot; no HDMI slot and USB, it makes hard to transfer data and do various things. Would need to spend more extra $$$ on all the missing slots and more on the Hard Drive space.

Excellent personal laptop. 4K screen is wonderful makes it exciting to view everything. Exceptional video quality for YouTube, especially like being able to screen share to my 65in and send audio via Bluetooth to my sound system. Very fast machine.

I researched computers for months and finally decided to get this one! And it was worth every penny! I love it and it is beyond fast and the screen is incredible and the touch screen is great. I only wish they would put keypads in these xps.

I bought this for college. I am an engineering student and I t’s fast enough to run all of programs I need. The touch screen is great and is very useful for both engineering and art projects.
