Maybe I was using it too much. Was doing 3 cups a day plus my wife does 2 cups a day. Anyway I updated to the Specialista Arte machine.

Nothing incredible, if you try to do standard 18 grams on a double shot, it will either stick or not pour the shot. I would just save up to get a better one, no cap!

The taste was okay. It came with different sizes for espresso. Cons: very messy. At times it was watery. You have to manually stop from pouring the espresso. The added heat frother was poorly placed and caused burns if not careful. It also positioned inffectively. It went back to the store. Cons:

I used to have ECP3420, it breaks down every couple of months. Thankfully, I bought the protection plan multiple times because I know it breaks down. The ECP3420 is no longer being manufactured and there's only open box at best buy, and this is I guess the new version and more expensive by $80, so I thought I'd give it a try, maybe it won't break down as often. On the first day, the espresso comes out drop by drop slowly and it tasted horrible although it's high quality coffee from Italy. The milk frother has a cappuccino option or just hot milk option...I can't tell a difference. They're both horrible and it spits out A LOT of water at first. Will return today because this is a big scam. They changed the outside color of the machine and the model number, but they're both horrible.
