The machine requires several heat-up cycles before producing coffee that’s enjoyable. It doesn’t automatically shut off during brewing, so it will literally empty the water tank full of water.

First of all, I bought this brand new from Best Buy and they sent me a used/damaged product. I double checked that I didn’t order this as an “open box” item, and I didn’t! Second, I’ve had this literally 3 days. The trays are hard to get in ports filter, I gave myself a blood blister from being pinched trying to get the tray in. Today, the machine stopped working. I haven’t don’t anything different. Filled the espresso, turned it on, waited for the green light, water is full but not above the max, and when I turn the knob to release the espresso I get nothing. I took the portafilter off to see what’s going on and there, water so no blockage. I tried refilling the tray, same problem. I’m very annoyed and will probably be taking this back

This will save us thousands of bucks a year easily. The only downsides are that the Hot Milk mode of the milk frother wand seems to be a bit noisy and the espresso cup handle can be a bit hard to turn to the right when packed for 2 shots of espresso.

Does not pull espresso

Have not even had it for one year. No blockages in portafilter, cleaned unit. Seems to be an issue with the seal on the head and portafilter basket. Will not purchase another by this Delonghi brand.

Terrible customer service!!!

Contacted De'Longhi customer service on failed coffee maker at same time of purchase of new coffee maker. Customer service took weeks for responses, requested a lot of information and ultimately recommended that i take to a repair shop or buy buy a new one, on my dime.

Wouldnt wish this machine on my worse enemy.

The expresso tins dont fit well. The steamer sucks doesnt move right. I have had numerous expresso machine and this one is my least favorite by a long shot. If it wasnt too hard to return i would.
