Slight learning curve needing to understand what all the blinking lights mean (read the manual). It's designed to work under optimumal conditions for a good brew every time. No temperature setting. The bar-o-meter is useful if you decide to modify the machine to a non-pressurised basket for more "authentic" crema.

I’m Cuban descent and I was born loving coffee espresso as much as the blue sky. I’ve tried different coffee machines but this one provides me witj good coffee and plenty of foam, extracting all the scent and flavor of real delicious coffee.

So i decided to get a coffee maker after the one she had was getting old. This machine and the flavors it extracts really made me crave for a cup each morning. The smoothness of the texture and the wand that makes the milk froth is something that captivates my taste buds.

It takes a little practice if you've never used an espresso machine before, but once you get the hang of it it makes wonderful espresso and cappuccinos. The machine heats up surprisingly quickly. Would totally recommend to someone who wants a nice machine without shelling out $500-600.

If I were you, I would learn about the machine before using because there are a couple things that changed my coffee overtime like proper cleaning. Also, the plastic reservoir tank smells disgusting.

The expresso takes just like starbucks. The only think i didn't like about the machine is the portafilter. Sometimes it feels like i cant fully lock it, so i have to remove coffee to lock it.
