One of the best purchases I’ve made! On the cold winter days I can make nice hot caramel latte and hot summer days nice iced hazelnut latte, isn’t it amazing!!! Moreover, it’s looks gorgeous and works great!!!

Bought the middle of October so have only had a month. The inside back of the unit around the hot plate has already cracked and part of it has sunk down. It leaks from the coffee pot side into the tray under the espresso maker, so when you add water to make coffee, this area gets water. No way to adjust how hot the coffee is which I guess is actually a good thing because the plastic in that area has broken anyway. If you put the pot back on before closing the swinging coffee ground part, it catches on the lid of the pot and caused a bunch of scratching/marks. Would not recommend.

Had for over a month and really like the functionality. However the front right corner of the coffee maker steams profusely with enough hot condensation to burn your hand if you were to touch it. Not good for under any cabinets while in use.

The worst buy ever! It has too many problems. I realised, i hate to use it. No way to make a good expresso. No way to make a good cappuchino. But now 2 days late for return. Steam comes from every tiny hole. Good idia, but cheap made. So bad i cant attach all the videos here. Cant belive Delonghi made this "shame".

Dripper is barely hot , it needs to stay on warmer plate to heat at least 10 minutes after brewing. Stinky plastic even after months of daily use. Espresso is the weakest part of it. Thermostat isn't working properly, so it shows "ready" even when its cold water. Takes up to 10 min to preheat. And it's leaking. Very dangerous.Returning it

This product does not do what it should. It does not make expresso correctly. It is either water, or nothing. So I bought a 200 coffee brewer.

The Delonghi All in One is quite a machine. It’s attractive, feature rich, easy to use, and helps you save money on coffee filters. If you’re looking to switch back from pod based coffee makers, this is a solid choice overall. In the box, you’ll find a small pod like anti-chlorine filter, 3 espresso filters (one pre-installed), espresso portafilter, a measuring scoop with a tamper (to press down on the coffee for the espresso), the 10 cup carafe, a descaler solution for cleaning, and a permanent gold toned filter. Preinstalled in the machine, at least in my case, are the anti-chlorine filter holder, the water reservoir (holds about 10 cups) for the espresso side of the machine, and the drip tray. Some important things to note, before you start making coffee make sure to follow the instructions on initial cleaning and initial brews. This helps eliminate any “plastic” like taste or chemical smell. You will notice this during the initial cleansing brews, but wasn’t an issue once I started making coffee. The drip side filter housing is also where you pour water, from the carafe, for coffee brewing. Just make sure to clean the accessories with soap and water. The water filter also needs to be rinsed prior to installation. The water reservoir (on the espresso side) easily slides in and out for filing and cleaning. Just make sure that you push it down all the way to avoid any issues. All of the prep work only takes a few minutes, thanks to the quick heating of the drip and espresso side of the machine. Starting a drip coffee, with the carafe, only takes a few minutes; similar to other coffee machines. If you’ve never owned an espresso machine, the included owners manual does a great job of explaining all the prep required, and even walks you through the basics of making espresso, cappuccino, and lattes using the machine. On the machine, you’ll find a knob on the left side which turns on the cappuccino system, allowing water to flow through, and can be rotated out of the way of the drip tray when not in use. A clock, which is easily programmed, the espresso on/off button along with the appropriate use buttons for this setting; while the “touch” screen has the drip coffee on/off button and the “bold” coffee button. The touch button for the drip coffee also allows you to set the duration of the warming/carafe heating plate. The default setting worked well for my use at 2 hours, but can be adjusted to fit your needs. You can even set it to “0” if you don’t want the warming plate to stay on after brewing. I’m by no means an expert in coffee brewing, but I found myself watching tutorials and reading the manual to become one. After several tries, I can honestly say this machine makes me wonder why I spend so much on coffee shop visits. The espresso portafilter also accepts the use of “espresso pods” for those that want an even easier option. This was the filter that’s initially installed on the portafilter, and pops out easily to replace with the 1 or 2 cup filters. Making espresso at home is one of the most rewarding experiences, especially when you get it right simply following the basic instructions in the manual. The “pre-heat” process is also much quicker than most single pod brewing machines. After getting a quick walk through of the guide, and from a friend of mine with a similar machine, I was cranking out great tasting espressos, cappuccinos and lattes in a matter of minutes. On the drip side, the included permanent filter makes brewing coffee easy. There is no paper filter to throw out, and emptying the used coffee is easy. The filter even has a nice, easily tucked away, handle to pull the filter out. The carafe has a nice wide opening which also makes hand washing super quick. The filter housing also easily disassembles for more in-depth cleaning. Brewing coffee is a similar experience to other drip coffee makers, which allows for up to 10 cups of coffee. The reservoir on the right side has an easy to see fill line. Filling to the max had the carafe full (at least in my use), at the 10 cup line or just short of it (like 1cm) depending on how much ground coffee you use. Overall, I’m incredibly happy with making coffee from home again. This machine, while at a premium, will have you making coffee like a pro, from the comfort of your own kitchen, bar, or office space. The easy to follow instructions also do a great job instructing you on the basics, and the machine is one of the easiest ones to clean (in my experience).

When I first received this coffee machine, I was a bit overwhelmed as it seemed like a really complicated device (and it was a bit at first). Firstly, it is simply GREAT and once figured out is a huge step up from even my Keurig, but also an awesome conversation piece for company — whenever we have any these days…I digress. It also makes cappuccino, lattes, hot chocolate — I even used the brother to make a copycat pumpkin cream cold brew with it and it was sooo good! Just like the real thing! Here are a couple of pros and cons to focus on: PROS Can make more than one cup of coffee at once Metal filter is reusable; no paper filters that are bad for the environment is a plus Around the clock programming to start brewing coffee Coffee taste for each person can be customized Comes with a frother that coffee shops use to make that sweet foamy cream! CONS The frother, while great, does not come with it’s own cup The instructions are a bit confusing (at least for me) at first You may have to go through some trial and error to get good groove going with your espresso/coffee making Overall, while I do looove this machine, I will say, if you’re not an avid coffee drinker, I’d pass on it. It’s great, but you will need to dedicate some time to it, keeping it clean, especially if you’re making lot of cream with the frother (like me!)

This machine is close to having it all when it comes to coffee-based beverages. You get the ability to make delicious drip coffee on a programable auto schedule and to make reasonably good espresso all in one 14” wide, 13” tall, 11” deep counterspace-saving machine! Allow me to start to break down some of the features I appreciate. This machine has a dual heating system so you can be pull espresso shots while actively brewing a fresh pot of coffee. I appreciate this multi-tasking ability as it makes for some nice hosting with guests over-everyone gets their preferred beverage! The drip coffee reservoir and espresso water/steamer wand water are in two separate containers so that you manage and refill the water on each separately as your needs dictate. I am no expert in the making of espresso specialty beverages, but here are a few tips I have picked up in my research that help with this machine. First, the flavor and body of your espresso shot have everything to do with an appropriate grind of the coffee beans and appropriate tamping of the coffee “puck” in the filter basket. Do not be fooled into buying expensive boutique “espresso beans” your first go arounds with this. Learn how to properly grind (or choose good coffee grounds for espresso) and how to properly tamp first—even Folgers taste delicious when done right! There are some great YouTube tutorials on how to accomplish both of these tasks appropriately to pull proper shots. As the frothing wand goes, it works great and is another item I learned on YouTube how to use appropriately. With enough practice, you can make some great Lattes, Cappuccinos, etc. etc. with this machine; certainly good enough to satisfy the cravings of a daily espresso drinker and to entertain and wow your guests! The drip coffee system on this is quite cool and straight forward. It includes a reusable “Gold” filter that I find to be great but can use disposable paper cone filters. It has capacity to make about 12 cups it looks like, but the carafe is demarked “10 cups”. It has a programable timer for when to initiate the brewing, a warmer plate, bold setting, and has an auto drip-stop as most brewers do today to let you poor a cup of coffee mid-brew. All in all, those are all the features I personally care about with a coffee brewer and does justify it as a replacement for a standalone drip coffee brewer! The coffee it yields by the way is delicious; not all drip coffee makers are alike. How they introduce water through the grinds and the temperature the water is heated at maters, and this machine produces some incredibly delicious drip coffee! Altogether, I think this is an excellent package that De’Longhi is offering here. In my opinion, it is an excellent gateway drug into the world of handcrafted espresso beverages; I am already researching higher-end coffee bean grinders, specialty serving glasses, etc. thanks to this machine! De’Longhi is a titan in the industry of coffee and espresso beverages, you will not be disappointed spending your money on this!
