It did not work for my husband so we returned this.

It was great until it stopped working after 12 months

It worked for a month. Very disappointed. My son doesn’t want to deal with returning it.

Received the box damaged and the Expresso was leaking

Espresso maker is junk. Coffee maker is just ok. Not worth the price.

The brewed coffee was not the quality nor craftsmanship is not what I would of expected from the maker of the coffee pot nor the price. The coffee quality is ok at best and the machine is cheaply made of mostly plastic. betterThe other reviews were all correct on the fact that the machine has issues. the frothier on mine started to malfunction within the first week and after a month completely stopped working. The expresso side leaks and is also malfunctioning. You are paying for the name only, because you are definitely not getting the quality of machine the name is supposed to be.

I’m a guy who likes good looking gadgets. Beautiful design is essential to me. In that regards, this De’Longhi certainly meets my requirements, especially when its price range is considered. You can easily make a statement with it on your counter. But good looks is not everything. This machine makes a great espresso for my taste. Its double dipping mechanism can either fill up one cup very quickly or two at the same time. I’ve owned a more expensive espresso machine but the frother on this DeLonghi surprisingly put it to shame. It is that good. A much smoother and faster foam. The latte we made tasted like the best ones at Starbucks. Because it has a coffee maker with an easy-to-clean filter, I have already been using it more than the other espresso machine. The auto feature guarantees I am welcomed with a nice smell of a tasty coffee when I wake up in the morning. Interestingly, you can make your espresso at the same time it is brewing your coffee. That was another surprise to me as these multi-function machines usually only do one thing at a time. And again, it can stand next to the other and not be ashamed. The temper is all made of plastic, which is not all that great although it does its job fairly well. My other complaint is that it doesn’t stop automatically when the cup is filled. No big deal but it would have been a fantastic feature if it did stop. Still, it is more than worth it.

It is not working. The expresso caffee it work some time and some time not.

This machine worked very well for making coffee and espresso, and also for steaming milk. Compared to professional espresso machines this unit made great espresso and costs 4 times or more less. Its construction is not as solid as the commercial machines, however it does use the 15 bar pressure just like the very expensive machines. A feature you do not have is a built-in grinder. I actually prefer a separate grinder however, because this is a part of some machines that breaks down more often. Now about taste: I found the coffee to be much less bitter than the low-cost coffee makers. I felt this was due to the use of a water filter cartridge and also the special metal filters both for espresso and the coffee. It is simple to use and does give you the ability to steam milk. This is important because if you use a lot of milk, then you may have to microwave your coffee to get it warm again and this kills the taste in my opinion. So in one unit you have a machine that will make up to 10 cups of really great coffee for you and your friends; and without a lot of fuss. You do have two separate water reservoirs and heating systems which is a great design point. Therefore this machine can produce coffee and espresso (or steam milk) at the same time and can also do both jobs in an optimal way since it is really two machines in one. You do have 1 and 2 serving espresso cups as well as a third espresso cup for espresso pods. You also have a clock and programmable timer, very nice and useful. It is not huge, so it doesn’t take up a lot of counter space relative to its functionality (about 10.5” x 13.5” x 13” high). I love this unit and am making a lot of my favorite French Vanilla grind with steamed milk. I think that De'Longhi really got it right with this all-in-one machine. I do highly recommend this unit and it’s a great value at the price.

Everything about this expresimaker is great except there a metallic taste and smell that emminates from the black cover of the milk frother. The coffee is undrinkable due to that. I would have given it a 5 stars. We returned the machine due to this. I cannot recommend it UNTIL this issue is fixed. I have heard others have this sure too so I don't believe it is a one off situation.

I’ve got a bit of a problem with hoarding coffee machines. They all do something a little different and it’s good to have a backup/travel one (or two). This De’Longhi feels like the last one I’ll want for quite a while, as it can do pretty much everything I am looking for. And yet it is by no means perfect. Here’s the good: seriously great lattes. Perfectly tasty coffee. Here’s the bad: making those lattes ain’t easy. There is certainly a learning curve here and whoever made the quick start guide needs to go back to the (literal) drawing board. There’s a lot that’s hard to decipher there, so I highly recommend reading the manual closely before even trying. Also, pay attention! Because the espresso maker will not stop automatically. You gotta stay on it and stop it when you have as much as you require because there is no smart shut off of any kind. Also, the milk steamer takes quite awhile to get the milk to a temperature that you’d find comparable to any story bought espresso drink. Also, the coffee maker takes quite awhile to make two cups of coffee. Oh and you are supposed to use the coffee pot to determine how much water you need depending on how many cups you want to make. So, let’s say you want just two cups of coffee. You fill the coffee pot with water up to the line numbered... 4. Yes, 4. Why? No clue. But there is no possible chance you are getting 4 cups of coffee from that little water unless you’re drinking it out of Dixie cups. Surely they tested this and came to the same conclusion, but for some reason just decided to leave the numbers on the pot the way they are, despite not corresponding to any real world scenario of any value whatsoever. It’s just strange. Also, if you miss the short and not terribly loud beep when your coffee is done there is no visual indication on the display to inform you it’s ready. That seems like an omission that shouldn’t be necessary at this price point. And I guess that’s the overall thing with this machine. It’s not cheap. You’d like to see it be a little more polished in the details given what you’re paying for it. Even things like the placement of the coffee filter are just annoying enough to make the experience of using this machine less than what it should be for how good the drinks come out. (For the record, the filter opens up to the right and has to be completely open for you to be able to actually remove it. Which means you can’t reasonably have anything on the counter within 4-6 inches to the right of this machine. You’re also going to need to move the steamer out to make a latte, so that means you can’t reasonably have anything on the counter within 3-5 inches to the left of this machine. See?) Maybe this is the best design possible, but it just doesn’t feel like it. So... Buy it for the drinks, not the experience. And now I want a latte.

The DeLonghi Digital All-in-One Combination Coffee and Espresso Machine has a decent footprint, but considering it both creates coffee and espresso it is really quite compact. The unit looks good on my kitchen counter, most of the unit is black plastic, with stainless steel panels. It looks on par with a professional unit you would see at your local coffee house. Having a system which allows you to brew coffee and espresso at the same time is a great feature. The digital interface is pretty handy with controls including Bold, Auto, hour and minute buttons, they call it a touchscreen, however it is really just a digital display with buttons. The controls are a bit convoluted but once you learn how to use them they are effective. The permanent filter for brewing drip coffee is handy and eliminates the need for paper filters. The coffee pot holds about 10 cups of coffee and the water reservoir has a small clear plastic window on the right-hand side to view the water level. The warming tray on the drip side of the house can be kept on for different periods of time or even left off. Creating espresso, lattes and cappuccinos is fairly easy on the left-hand side of the machine. I viewed a few videos to figure out how to make each one of these beverages and fully utilize this portion of the machine. Overall, I am happy with this unit, it provides a good deal of functionality and value. I am figuring out new ways to use it every morning to enjoy my favorite hot beverages. Pros: - Multifunctional, can use standard coffee drip function at the same time as the espresso, lattes, and cappuccino producing side. - Good looking - Fairly compact - Configurable warming tray - Easily cleanable coffee pot Cons: - A bit more plastic than expected.

The best coffee maker we have ever had. The idea of all in one is amazing. Espresso is always a good idea and this coffee maker is really good at it and also easy to use.
