This machine is great because it gives you both a drip coffee maker and espresso machine in one. The only issue is that the drip coffee maker feels cheap, it reminds me of a drip you would find on black Friday for under 15 bucks. The espresso maker is very nice and does feel high quality. The instructions are very clear and it is hard to mess up. You just have to pay attention to what insert you use and make sure you use a fine ground coffee. It heats up pretty quick and disperses a nice cup of espresso. It also has a milk frother that works very nice. I have had other espresso machines and this one works very similar to those. Pretty reliable. The only disappointment was in the coffee maker. It is a traditional drip coffee maker with a cone filter. It reminds me of a cheap hotel coffee maker or one you would find for under 15 dollars. We were used to a Ninja coffee station that has multiple sizes for pots, mugs, or thermos. You can only make a pot. Overall this is a nice machine if you are going to rely heavily on the espresso machine and drip coffee for big batches. It is not an every day coffee maker.

This is the perfect home companion expresso machine! It does not take up much counter space, is very simple to operate and can also function as a coffee maker for those times when you just want to wake up to fresh brewed coffee waiting for you. The joy of becoming my own barista and providing friends and family fresh latte's is even more gratifying. I estimate that I have paid for this device easily by not having to drive to an expresso shop and pay $6 for a cup in the last 3 months. I highly recommend this for every kitchen!

Absolutely love this combination maker. Comes with everything you need except the coffee and espresso in a compact an elegant display. The coffee maker brews coffee thoroughly and tasteful. The espresso is perfect and easy to use along with the steamer/frother. Comes with pre-measured handle for the espresso to make it without the pods if you like. I have no complaints at this point. I can only drink so much coffee and espresso before I’m jumping off the walls, but this machine makes it fun to make both and almost irresistible to turn down a good cup of joe. The coffee maker side is the traditional pour in the water for your amount of desired coffee. The espresso side has a water container attached and it preheats to a set temp for the perfect shot. Awesome combination and looks good on the counter also.

This coffee maker has exceeded my expectations. The coffee comes out hot and tastes great. Plus, the carafe is large and the design is modern. I'm very happy with my purchase

Let me first start by saying I am an avid coffee connoisseur of everything to do with coffee, from bean selection to makers. I have owned 3 different “high end” coffee makers in the last 12 years that are certified by the SCAA (Specialty Coffee Association of America) and the SCAE (Specialty Coffee Association of Europe). These associations have very strict requirements of the machines they certify to be sure the coffee is brewed at the exact right temperature to avoid the mishaps that come with the wrong brewing temperature – bitter taste, not hot enough, too hot or poor ground immersion. This new product from De’Longhi, while not certified by the entities above, brews an excellent pot of coffee when using the drip and carafe and the taste is comparable to my current machine that is certified. After going though the very important cleaning process to rid the machine of unwanted tastes (something that needs done with every new coffee maker), I had my wife blind taste test me with our favorite coffee bean from East Africa – a bean we have used for years. I was amazed to find that I could not tell the difference of which cup came from which machine which tells meDe’Longhi got it right regarding the temperature of brewing and bean emersion. The expresso/cappuccino/latte side of the machine is very easy to use and while I do not prefer lattes, my experience with the quality of the expresso and cappuccino side of this machine was similar to the drip carafe side noted above. The aesthetics of this machine are very much appreciated as I prefer stainless colors with black accents for all my kitchen gadgets and this one fit right in. If you are wanting a variety of color options, you will need to look elsewhere. The controls and digital display are easy to find and use and the lights on the display are not obnoxiously bright. In short, I cannot recommend this product highly enough. For the price you pay for the variety of coffee options to brew, you likely cannot do any better.

Overall, I am pleased with my DeLonghi coffee/espresso maker. It is, when all is said and done, a fairly basic machine with very little automation. It does not include a grinder, does not memorize any of my settings or preferences, and is priced accordingly. However, it is easy to set up and operate, makes decent espresso and coffee, and I have had good luck with the milk frother. Color me satisfied.

I’ve had zero issues with it in all that time. No leaks. No breakdowns. Made a good pot of coffee and espresso shots. Always worked great. Would instantly recommend that model again. Well my initial impressions with this one look like it’s another long lasting winner! I have not even had this maker for a month so these are my initial reactions. Good coffee begins with good beans and preparations. Pros: Makes a great tasting espresso shot. The coffee made in this is much smoother, clearer, less foamy, and no bitterness. It should continue to provide exceptional drink provided you run a cleaner/de-scaler occasionally through the maker. It comes with two different portafilter basket sizes: a shallow size for single shot and deeper size for double shot plus a POD filter basket. Can use Nespresso Pods along with others. Built in frothier and does a decent job. Two water reservoirs, 10 cup for drip, 4 cup for espresso and frothier. Manual machine for espresso, timer controlled for coffee. Con: My biggest complaint with this maker is the unnecessarily difficult to read markings on water reservoir for the drip coffee to see for filling. It’s almost impossible to see water level. An LED light which activates when you rotate the filter basket out for filling would be a nice touch.

Easy to use. Not too big so fits perfectly on my coffee bar. LOVE the ability to pour the water in from the front. Great machine.

This is definitely the fanciest coffee maker I've ever owned. Buttons are well labeled and it's easy to differentiate between the coffee and espresso controls. Everything functions as it should and my only complaints are very minor. The steam knob does feel kind of cheap but is perfectly serviceable, and the espresso cup can be a hit hard to install when it is full. This might be a common thing across espresso makers as the cup needs to seal to be pressed out but I still struggled a little even after packing it down. All in all very happy with this machine.

I love everything about this All In One coffee machine. The pitcher is very compact, yet it holds as much as my other systems with a much larger footprint. The coffee that comes out is very rich and robust, especially with the bold option. It takes a while to brew it, but it’s worth the wait. My son and I both enjoy the coffee over our previous system. The fill method is handy with the swing out filter door, making it early to fill without spilling. The system includes a permanent filter which works well for larger grounds, but I choose to use a #4 disposable filter for a finer espresso blended coffee. It’s important to set the filter in there carefully, as the disposable ones are flimsy and can easily fold. This can cause grounds in the coffee. I have found that when I take care, it works out great and the final product is excellent. I especially enjoy the option of making an espresso whenever I want something a bit stronger. The hardware is a very well built system and I can see this lasting for many years. There is a separate water tank for the espresso and milk steamer. It makes a nice foamy topping using common creamers. The clock allows for scheduling coffee at your convenience and works flawlessly. I have been enjoying waking up to a fresh pot of coffee every morning. I have owned several coffee systems and this by far my favorite. It is a little slower brewing than some, but the result is better than most. It is fairly compact and they packed a lot into a small package with this system.

This is an interesting machine. There are a lot of moving parts and extra pieces to clean so keep that in mind. I enjoy the espresso portion of the machine but don't love the coffee portion. I was happy to find that the espresso portion is easy to use and tastes great. I tried a few different coffee beans to figure out what I liked best. The frother portion is a mess. It's hard to get clean and doesn't work as well as a similar machine I use from another brand. I find I don't use this as often because of that. It's a large machine to keep on the coffee bar when the espresso portion is all I really use. I think I'll be replacing this with a standalone espresso maker from the same brand. I did appreciate the added water filters and the ease of use for basic functions.

As a lover of Starbucks' frappuccinos, coffees and lattes this beautiful machine comes as a welcome addition to my coffee brewing collection as I know it will be a money saver from Starbucks! As a person who enjoys a rich cup of coffee, this lovely machine answers the call well, by brewing a good cup of coffee that’s likened to a country club atmosphere. First off, the features on this machine are just outright stunning! They are so stunning that this machine can set on a counter as a “showpiece” if a person chooses. I would like to give De’Longhi credit for providing great information on how to set up and work this machine. I tried a cup of espresso at home after carefully following directions and the end result was a wonderful tasting experience. I realize some may see this combo machine as expensive, but if you truly enjoy rich-tasting coffee then this item would be a great added bonus to your kitchen.

This is the best coffee and latte, espresso maker I have ever owned. The price is reasonable for all it can do. I have purchased many coffee makers over the past 50 years but this one has out performed anything I have ever had. Best Buy was the best price and most convenient place to make such a great purchase. Thanks guys Fred R.

Comparing to other machines which has a built in grinder... This one does a great job at what it has. 10 cup drip coffee with timer, espresso and cappuccino abilities and a steamer. Great purchase if it's on sale... Sleek and modern styling would be perfect on your counter top too! Thanks.

I have been using the De'Longhi combo machine for a few weeks now and am in love with it. Not only does it make a great cup of drip coffee, the cappuccino and espresso it produces are fantastic. I'm drinking a lot more coffee now because of this machine, so much so that I almost wish it was bigger than a 10-cup! There are several features I really like and appreciate. The front load drawer for adding coffee and filling the water reservoir is a must-have for me as I have limited head room above the coffee maker because my cabinetry sits low on the wall. Although it comes with a gold "permanent" filter and the instructions seem to imply you must use it, I have found removing it and using standard paper cone filters works perfectly fine. You can adjust the length of time the "keep warm" function on the hot plate stays on to maintain the proper temperature to suit your needs. The portafilter for the espresso side comes with interchangeable inserts for single or double pours and a third for use with E.S.E. pods if that's your thing. The water tank for that side is separate and, in my kitchen, unfortunately requires me to pull the machine out from under the cabinets to refill it. The good news there is that it holds enough water for several brews so it's not a huge issue. The built-in frother/steamer works amazingly well and has plenty of steam to get the job done right. It is a bit loud, but that's not a deal-breaker for me. Just something to keep in mind. There is a basin to catch overflow or drips on the espresso side which has a tab that pops up when it gets full. Not only is it a clear visual indicator to empty it, the tab helps you remove the basin from the machine with ease. The soft.touch buttons on the drip side can be touchy but after using the machine a couple of times you get the feel for it. The espresso side has a separate set of buttons to control the functions on that side and a knob on the side to control the steamer. The only real downside I have found with this machine is that the clearance on the espresso side tends to be on the smaller side. My regular mugs fit, it just requires a bit of tipping and paying close attention. I can't just slide it under the portafilter unfortunately. And although the machine can technically brew and pour two espressos at a time, my mugs are too big to fit side by side in the limited space. Again, not a huge deal, especially since I tend to be the only one drinking anything from that side anyway. One last thing, the De'Longhi customer service is spot on. I had an issue and reached out to them via email. Within two hours of that email, I was on the phone with a technician who helped me work through the problem with ease and professionalism. I was honestly expecting to wait a day or more as I have with other companies in the past, so this was a pleasant and quite unexpected surprise.

Let me start by saying that I am dependent upon coffee and I get pretty snobby about my pot each morning. I’ve tried one cup systems and they haven’t done it for me so I MUST have a pot ready in the morning. That being said, I’ve wanted to experiment with some more “exciting” coffee beverages but I couldn’t fathom giving up valuable counter space and not having my beloved coffee pot. This device solves my caffeine dilemma and looks beautiful while doing it! I’ve never had my own espresso machine and was a little nervous but I read through all of the instructions and they were well laid out and I’ve had no problems. I can’t wait for the cooler weather so I can experiment more and then start dabbling in iced beverages just in time for next spring!

This coffee machine has saved me on so many rough mornings! Makes the most amazing coffee and offers variety in terms of the kind of drink you want to make. The warranty on this is also very good. A few weeks ago, one of the parts stopped working unexpectedly after having it for a while and I went in to exchange the coffee machine. Since I had the warranty, they replaced it for me with no problem. Overall, very good experience.

The coffee and espresso taste great but it broke almost immediately. My husband surprised me with this and although I was happy I was considering a return as I know it was an expensive purchase and when I googled it, many reviewers complained that it would randomly stop working many within a year. Ultimately we decided to keep it and the first few days we had so much fun making espresso drinks. We used the drip coffee side twice and the coffee tasted great too but unfortunately when we tried the third time, it just didn’t brew. Nothing. Makes a beep but no attempt to brew. We tried a master reset and it didn’t work. I was so surprised even though the reviews warned us, I just didn’t think we’d be that unlucky. Guess I’m glad it happened right away and not after we’re unable to return.

Great coffee maker and espresso machine. Easy to use.

This machine worked well for just over a year. Right after my one-year warranty was over, the espresso side completely stopped working. Anytime I would turn the machine on it would make crazy sounds and water/steam would come pouring out the steam wand, and nothing would come out the espresso spout. I took care of my machine, regularly cleaned and descaled it, and I even got on a video call with De'Longhi tech support where they said there was nothing they could do to fix it. It was just done. They refused to further help me fix it, only offering me 20% off a new machine since my warrant was up. It was terrible customer service and I'm heartbroken that I have to invest in a new product after only a year with this one. The new one will not be a De'Longhi brand. I gave it 2 stars because it made decent espresso while it was alive (and the coffee brewer side still works). Do not recommend.
