If you like milk-based drinks, this is not for you

The price point was great compared to other units with similar capabilities. Seemed like a solid unit, with good finishes, fit, etc. The problem I had was the milk temperatures. The coffee temp is adjustable, but not the milk. The hottest I was able to achieve was 120 degrees, which is at least 10 degrees below the minimum for a latte. I returned the unit and ordered a Breville Oracle Touch. It costs considerably more, but it is supposed to have a lot more flexibility as to crafting a drink. I didn’t want to keep a machine that cost that much that left me less than happy.

Could be Great

I had purchased this machine mostly to eliminate my Nespresso because the capsules were becoming very expensive. This machine grinds and provides a decent crema but it’s just not built that great. I wish that for the money you could expect more.

No Americano setting

At ~$2k I want a one-button Americano. So my solution is to go with the Magnifica. Otherwise this is a great.

Only lasts a year

After one year I could not make two cups of coffee in a row or if I did the system clean it wouldn't work for two days afterwards. I think the problem was that the internal sensor would overheat. Bad product for so much money

Not worth the money.

I thought it was a fluke and returned it for another. The second new machine did the same thing... the rinse would just miss the drain hole and run water over the counter again. Additionally, I couldn't get the machine to link via Bluetooth. Not sure if this is a design flow but would not recommend this machine.

Very bad milk frothing considering the price

The machine makes good espresso only which you can get from much cheaper options available. Other drinks like latte and cappuccino are absolutely the worse i tried. I returned the machine

Luke Warm Coffee at $1500

Spoken to 4 different representatives' and all 4 have said different default coffee dispensing temperatures! I am unable to make a regular black coffee higher than 145 degrees! Milk based coffee at best is just LUKE WARM! Every drink I have made goes into the microwave before consuming. Not everything is bad...the construction is really solid and so is the touch screen, it's all beautiful from the outside; but the end product is what I ultimately care about, which is very disappointing for me. I am returning it…

Dont like the taste

Not hot enough

Frother didn’t last a dozen uses.

Delonghi said they were sending a new frother but still not a word from them. Bought this for my husband for Christmas, he went into hopsital right after and hasn’t even used this coffee maker 12 times when it quit working!

Wow! This coffee machine is great!

The coffee tastes great, it is customizable to your preferences, it cleans itself, it looks cool, it has an app! Wow, just a really great experience so far. This machine is as much about the experience as it is just making great coffee. The thing I don't like about most espresso machines is that you need to do so much work to make the espresso. Grind the beans, fill the grounds, empty the grounds, and clean the whole thing afterwards. This usually leads me to not using the machine very often because of all the work. This machine solves that problem by automating nearly everything about the process, even most of the cleaning. The experience of pushing a button on the machine or on the app and having your coffee made to your liking is really cool! That is really all I need to say about this machine, but I will also add that it is easy to unbox, setup and use on a daily basis. The app takes a little while to connect each time you open it but once you customize your profile you don't really need the app anyway, it is just a cool function to have and to show off to friends. One final point is just to call out the overall quality of the product. Nothing feels cheap or unnecessary. The machine is sleek, sturdy and reliable. I would recommend it!
