I really loved this machine! It brews amazing flavored espresso! I saved so much money and time by buying this machine. I would highly recommend this machine for anyone who drinks coffee daily and wants a machine that cleans itself and automatically makes espresso without you having to go through the manual process. This machine was my morning life saver! The reason I gave this machine 4 stars is because I purchased this machine in December and the hot milk carafe stopped getting hot in January. Best Buy only had a 15 day return policy so I had to contact the manufacturer. After many phone calls, they told me they would replace it with a refurbished machine. I later found out that they were out of stock of this machine. It was frustrating mainly because of the price of the machine. It is way too expensive for issues like this. Just be mindful of all return policies and exactly what happens if you have to use your warranty.

Excellent solid piece of engineering. Really easy to use and make coffee and espresso. Amazing quality results with any whole coffee bean. Takes some minor tuning for the grinder. 1 year later still no issues.

Love this, we had one that stopped working, fortunately I got the two-year warranty and it was a easy exchange and I had amazing customer service at the heath store. This machine makes amazing coffee lattes espressos and so much more, very easy to use and maintain as well.

When combined with excellent coffee beans, this machine makes outstanding and varied coffee drinks. We've tried nearly all available drinks which are now customized to our preference in terms of strength and size. All were excellent with rich creamy coffee and espresso along with silky milk foam or hot milk. The touchpad provides clear instructions and responds crisply. The grinding and pressing of the coffee is a bit loud but not much different than other machines I evaluated. Cleaning is quite easy with the machine doing much of the work on startup, shutdown, and after creating drinks with milk. There are easily removable parts that are simply rinsed and dried.

Makes good espresso and the machine is intuitive to use, only gripe is the coffee is cold the first pull after turning on for the day, delognhi recommends pre warming the cup and i do find that it does improve that first pull but it is still tepid at best. The magic bullet i have found is to put in the hit water spout and run it for about 15 seconds to get hot water circulating through the machines plumbing, this is a huge waste of water and costly if you are buying distilled water to cut back on cleaning cycles. Maybe they could engineer the next iteration with a cycle loop to prime hot water to the milk container. To be clear this issue only effects the frothing contain, it does but nice hot shots of straight espresso.

I didn’t think it was possible, but this espresso machine completely satisfies someone who is never satisfied - me. I started my espresso journey with a high end competitor, but my grinding and tamping skills couldn’t hack it, so I decided to give De’Longhi try. The quality of the shots and foam are superb. One major gripe is the self-cleaning/purging that takes place when the machine shuts off AND when it is turned on again. This cleaning process, while seemingly necessary, precludes any chance for using the app the order a coffee from bed because the machine would have cleaned itself prior to producing your coffee resulting in a watery disgusting mess. As a workaround, you’d need to turn the machine on, allow it to self clean, place a cup underneath the spout and then select a coffee, again removing any usefulness of the app.

Yes, this is not as “real” as using a manual espresso machine. Thanks and I’ll take this every day of the week. Took a little while to get the grind perfect and it will change depending on the bean you use, so now I stock up on my favorite. Easy to make great espresso and milk based drinks. The LatteCrema system works great even with non-dairy milks. I don’t use the app for anything other than turning the machine on in the morning while I’m trying to wake up. Other than that, just pressing a button on the screen is my go to, but it is very easy to customize and make your own size/strength drinks. Highly recommend.

The shots are great once you get the machine dialed in. I set the grinder at three and am getting excellent taste and crema with Lavazza Espresso Italiano beans. The milk frother makes wonderful milk with three choices- hot milk, somewhat foamy, and extra foamy. The app connection makes it extremely easy and user-friendly to program custom drinks and adjust existing drinks on the machine. I cross-shopped this with the Phillips 5400 and the Gaggia Cadorna Prestige. The Phillips is on backorder and I do not like the shot of steam that the Gaggia shoots out onto your drink after it dispenses milk. Also, this is a dual-boiler machine, meaning that you don't have to wait long for milk to dispense.

Fairly easy to use. Automatic coffee grinder. Plenty of pre-programmed drink options. Like the option to be able to detach frother and store in refrigerator when not is use so your not waisting unused milk. Able to make coffee shop style coffees at home. A bit on the expensive side but compensates with the Starbucks cost savings.

Me and my girlfriend where buying Coffee At Chain Stores every morning, for a long time. Recently we decided that we have been spending wayyy to much money on coffee. What used to be $3-4 bucks at Starbucks is now $8-11 Dollars per coffee! It ridiculous! So we decided to start drinking coffee at home and I purchased the Keurig and Nespresso and we stay true..... for awhile.... The coffee it made just wasn't 'special' and didn't offer the value I was looking. I drink many cups a day, and I wanted as fresh as I could. My work had a Jura, and my goodness I love that thing. So I tossed my Keurig and Nespresso and Purchased. This Fully Automatic Espresso Machine. I will never go back to any other coffee solution. This is it.. I'm done. This thing is fantastic and if you are even considering one of these all I can say it buy it! It makes great coffee and we find it more enjoyable that any coffee shop in our area. You've got to get the machine running several times and discover your own settings to your liking, but once it's dialed in. We have been using this bad boy everyday! The quality is amazing. This is a fantastic machine, and a fantastic price for all the things you can do. If your on the fence, hop off and snag one of these. Thank me later.

We replaced our Breville Express with this after comparing the two, doing taste tests. While it was possible to make slightly better espresso with Breville after several tries, Delonghi was much more consistent after the initial setup. I am sure someone who is more experience can also create consistent shots from Breville but it was too much trouble for me. We have tried most of the drink options already and they are all fairly good once you adjust it to your liking. The adjustments I made were to make the grinder 3 levels finer (more if beans are oily), change coffee strength to 4 in nearly all drinks and reduce milk amount. Nice thing is you can all do these from your phone easily.

I used this machine several times a day and love the coffee it makes. The only complaint I have is that the coffee doesn’t get that hot but if you warm the cup and coffee after it’s better. Taste wise, it’s a great machine. We use filtered water from our Brita to avoid residue in the machine. They also recommend to avoid dark coffee beans because the dark oils clog the burr.

Very happy with the purchase. Our older machine which was a Nespresso De'Longhi was broken after 8 years and we switched to this one. I am really happy that I no longer have to rely on the capsules. The coffee quality is amazing and and the lattes, macchiatos etc. come out great. The only item that I can say is a bit irritating is the constant system cleaning/filtering before and after so I have to keep a cup for this next to the machine. Otherwise, so far so good!

Love it. I’m new to automatic machines and it exceeded my expectations. I love the quality and consistency of my coffee. Was using a breville before this and while that’s a great machine the automatic is more practical for my on the go mornings. No coffee grounds on the counter is a HUGE plus

First off. I love coffee. Probably drink too much of it. And this machine has been amazing. Once I got all my drinks customized it has been perfect.
