Love this espresso machine. Its good quality and easy to use once you get it down.

Have owned this for a little less than a yes now- performs wonderfully all around. No need to hook up water line, and I get perfect Espresso everytime. Switching beans requires re calibration which can be a bit annoying, but if you're willing to figure it out you get coffee shop quality espresso every day in your home. Best decision I've made to our kitchen in a long time

Wife love this and uses it everyday now! Worth buying instead of spending a lot of money on Starbucks

I am finally pleasantly surprised by how well made this machine is. Not only it makes coffee the way coffee should be, but it is literally a beautiful piece of kitchen appliance. The machine is super heavy, an indication of the quality material used to make it. I have never written the following in a review; guessing the negative reviewers have a vested interest, must be worrying another fancy machine maker that lives by their name rather than by providing quality!

Two things. 1- I registered my espresso machine but I cannot see it anymore in my profile in Delonghi’s web site. 2-I had to returned my machine since it just started to fail. The last thing that happened was that the porta filter was not sealing properly. You don’t expect that from a $800+ espresso machine. Since no answer from Delonghi, I returned to Best Buy, since I got their warranty. I got a Breville instead and is working great. I learned now that a Nespresso machine we bought is made by Delonghi. It also failed miserably and customer service from Nespresso was awful. So, it seems like something is very wrong with this brand in general.

Easy to use. Been over 6 months since we bought it and coffee has been consistent and good.

Easy to make delicious coffee drinks! The only negative is that you can only use their proprietary descaler, which is pricier than simple vinegar. I also wish you could increase the size of drinks. Presently, you can only decrease the size, but this is a minor issue.

I love this, makes a great espresso and very easy to use with the plus of added grinder for convenience.

We've been using this espresso machine almost every day for over 2 years, and it makes a great espresso, coffee and latte or cappuccino. We've recommended it to others who also purchased. Need to keep it clean but easy to do with functionality the machine offers.

Expect the grinder to breakdown. This is the second one I replace with the same issue. Thank goodness for the geek squad protection.

Very well made. It took a few minutes and some video watching to figure it all out, but we have it down perfectly now. It makes wonderful coffee and espresso. And we love the way it looks. We ordered this after our Jura stopped working after a decade. We feel confident this one will last equally as long maybe longer.

I wanted to love La Specialista. It’s super easy to make the espresso part. Loved the built in tamping tool. It even made delicious frothed milk. The next day, the frother started screaming and just boiled milk with no foam. I tried to troubleshoot, but between the fact it’s a fairly new product, and other reviewers shared similar issues, I returned it and bought the Breville Barista Express. It’s not as automated, but works well. La Specialista is a beautiful machine. I hope they master the auto frother part.

Absolutely, it is a great product for people who love coffee , espresso and capuchino...very sophisticated and elegant machine ...great coffee maker...fresh and tasty... Focus on some practice...choose the right beans...medium roasted...Lavazza and Starbucks are great ... Absolutely, worthy every dollar...and, the price was the best at the great Best Buy !!

Once you get this figured out and dial in the types of beans and level of roast you won't go back to Starbucks or other coffee shops. Have lots of patience when learning this machine and buy several different types of beans to taste test with and you'll be very happy with the purchase.

Overall it’s a good machine very easy to use. I can make espresso, americano and regular coffee from the machine. I take out one star because the tamping still has space to improve.

So, I love how it doesn’t make mess an you can just Tamp with the handle! I love that feature! So far the grinder in the coffee machine has been fantastic! I was surprised that coffee comes out a little more stronger so my husband likes that setting! And I like the setting for a café Americano!

So, I have the barista express and my mom recently bought the la specialista! After drinking coffee from my barista Express I can say that the la specialista taste as a capsule coffee Absolutely bad taste, I made everything by the book, the tamping , the grind, the milk. It just taste bad. You cant make milk hotter because the machine automatically stops, if you want a bit more coffe in you portafilter you have to toss what you already have in and adjust the grind. The tamping isn't level. No trays to put my filters, after the shot when I knock the portrafilter to get the coffe puck out, the filter itself comes out too. If you have the machine on the countertop and you have cabinets up too, is no way that you can check the water level from the sides, you have to look over the machine and that's just an extra effort. This machine is overrated. If you know anything about coffee, it will work for you. Honestly my 15years old saeco expresso pulls better shots and milk than this 700$ piece of scrap. If you want to get this machine thinking that you will learn about coffee, you better buy other machine. Barista express over this in every scenario. You can give me 10 la specialista for free and I will still buy the barista express that is more professional and you have such a better control over your shots , grind, and milk.

I searched high and low for a really good, easy to learn and substantial espresso machine. This one was in my price point and hit all of my wants and needs. So far in less than a few weeks I've been able to make a smooth tasting espresso. We've become great morning friends.

Really pleased with this machine, and having now compared it with the $600 BBE competition, I’m even more confident that I made the right choice. The built in smart tamping system is so much better, and the more advanced milk steaming tip works great. Add in the 3yr warranty, and it’s a done deal.
