Beautiful Design, Excellent Quality

This is a well designed product from aesthetics to form and function.
It is a large toaster oven, with the emphasis on oven, as it will perform all of the functions of your big kitchen oven. And it will do it well.
Out of the box you are immediately impressed the style and the quality. The door is double glass and it has a very thick and tight seal. This provides excellent insulation and allows for accurate and consistant cooking temperatures. With our old toaster oven we used to have to raise the temperature higher than recommended in order to allow for heat loss thru the door. The DeLonghi has a button that will tell you the temperature in the cavity at any time during the cooking process.
And, speaking of the buttons. There are three dials, each with a button in the middle. These control cooking functions, temperature, toast color and power functions. Above the dials is a large, very legible screen that even my old eyes can easily read.
All of the dials and functions are very intuitive and easy to use without consulting the manual. However, there is a manual and getting started booklet. Both of which are among the best I've seen. In an age when many products don't even come with a manual, DeLonghi has provided a very complete and easy to follow set of instructions.
It comes with a wire rack, a crumb tray, a non-stick bake pan and a pizza pan large enough to bake a 12" pizza.
The tray slots are labled 1-4 with clear instruction on which level to place the racks for each cooking function. There is also a very bright interior light which remains on during cooking, and there is an audible signal for when pre-set temperatures are reached and when cooking is complete.
There are pre-set cooking funtions for Toast, Bake, Convection, Broil/Grill, Defrost, Pizza, Cookies and Keep Warm.
So far we have used the Toast, Bake and Convection functions and all have worked to perfection. This is the first oven I have seen that has a third heating element by the convection fan, making this much more efficient than ovens with only an upper and lower heating element.
I couldn't be happier with this product and I will definitely recommend it.

Great Little Oven!

This is not our first counter top "convection oven" but probably the first that has worked really well.
The oven it self is about 19" wide, 12" high, and about 15" deep if you include the hump in back. (Ill get to this later) The material and build quality is what one should expect of a small appliance of this type. Nothing overly fancy but nothing cheap either. Everything has a good feel to it and the door is very solid. One thing to note it that the handle is quite the finger print magnet.
Moving on to the functionality of the oven. It has 8 present modes including Toast, bake, cookies, pizza, convection, broil, defrost and keep warm. The oven also has four distinct levels that the tray and rack it comes with fit onto. Some levels are better for certain types of food which in the book it comes with this is discussed. The oven itself preheats very quickly and cooks food very uniformly. Having tried a couple of these preset settings I can saw these are sort of general and shouldn't be used for everything but for the most part they work for what your cooking. Cookies cooked a little quicker than the ovens timer suggested they would and had to be taken out about 2-3 minutes early out of a 12 minutes cycle. This is all dependent of course but overall the oven cooks food quickly and thoroughly. The fan is very quite and like I said it must circulate the air very well because food on every corner of the tray is cooked very similarly. One thing to note is the internal light is ONLY on when a cycle is running, there is no on/off button. This is a complaint for sure. The oven did smell during its first 3 heat cycles or so, so plan accordingly!
The weird little half moon type deal in the back of the oven is actually so a 13" pizza can fit into it! Yes any of your frozen pizzas can be cooked in this little thing. Even comes with a pizza tray.
Like I mentioned the only big complaint of this oven is the lack of control over the internal light. The only other small issue is the annoying beep when a cycle is complete but I know this is personal opinion.
Overall this is a great little oven and I would highly recommend!

This oven certainly impressed me. While it is a little larger in counter space footprint than other ovens out there, it is the interior space that really was deceiving in the best way possible. I could cook an entire frozen pizza (12”) with room to spare. The multiple level shelving aspect is great for fine tuning temperature managent or larger recipes. I’m no baker but the DeLonghi oven make baking cookies and other baked goods a snap with their preset times and temperatures. No more burnt dinner rolls or croissants! In fact the only reason this doesn’t get a five star rating is for the fact that the jog wheels used to operate it are a little unresponsive to me and sometimes making fine tuning times or temperatures (when not using presets) a little tedious. Otherwise this is a great addition to your kitchen if you are looking for a powerful little oven that you’d like to use either in addition to or in lieu of a conventional oven.

TOP RATE OVEN with 5 STARS

Out of the box and onto the countertop, this oven has appeal. It looks fantastic and modern.
Since it is a convection oven it has a fan to circulate the heat. AND I will say that It runs very quietly which is a plus.
It has a very easy to read display as well and has 8 preset programs for ease of cooking certain items BUT you can also simply set your own temp and time.
It includes 1 rack that you can adjust to 4 different positions. You can also purchase another rack separately in order to cook more items at the same time.
It also comes with a decent pizza pan and a bake pan
It has a 2 hour timer (120 minute) with auto shut-off and you can also adjust the temp setting during cooking at any time
This oven is very well insulated for sure! It has a double-glass door and pre-heats up very quickly to any temp. It has an internal light and even though it has the dbl glass door, you can see your food very easily.
It also cooks up your food a bit quicker than your regular oven so be prepared to adjust your cooking times. Also be ready to save a little on your electric bill (compared to a regular electric oven, such as I have)
It has a fairly large capacity and was large enough for me to cook a medium sized "Take-n-Bake" pizza I bought at the pizza joint.
It cooks with truly even heat as far as I have experienced so far. NO cold spots or overdone spots! Just perfect
The exterior also remained fairly cool even at a high temp setting which makes me no longer have worries of ruining my formica countertop.
The oven is also pretty easy to clean inside and out, just wipe it down was all I needed and good as new.
To aid in the ease of cleaning, it does have a removable crumb tray. How simple.
I personally give this fantastic oven a 5-Star rating and will tell you that I will be putting this to a heck of a lot of use for sure

This is the second countertop toaster/convection oven I have owned and I have to say that I’m impressed.
Setup/Use
Before using it, be sure to run a cooking cycle for 30 minutes at 450℉ under the convection function to burn off the protective coating. This gives off a bad odor, so make sure it is in a well ventilated area.
There really is no need to read the manual, but I did anyway; however, the controls are easy to figure out. Unlike many other toaster ovens, this model is built like a real oven, with thermal insulation to keep the heat in and prevent accidental burns.
I normally use my countertop ovens to make toast, but will use them to make pies and other larger items from time to time. I noticed this unit is very good at cooking evenly. My older unit would cook more in the middle.
Improvements
This is a great oven that is very well built. The only complaints I have is that the knobs feel a little wobbly, and I wished the oven would remember previous settings. My old unit would remember my setting for toast or baking and sometimes I forgot this unit does not have this function and would start the cycle using the wrong settings.
I would recommend this toaster/convection oven. It can easily replace a toaster, be used as a second oven during a lot of cooking, and saves gas/electricity over a regular oven for making smaller meals.

This item came right on time. It was right around the holidays and I had several dishes I was trying to get ready for my big dinner but my regular over was full and the guests were going to be arriving soon. Set this up and crossed my fingers that it would work well. And boy did it ever! I was able to make my dish in this with ease and it came out better than it ever has in my oven! Definitely will continue to use this and may even opt for this over my regular oven at times. Only "con" if I can even call it that is it is pretty big so it takes up more space than I like in my somewhat small kitchen, but that's definitely not a deal breaker

Cut cook time in half

I absolutely love this convection oven, as it’s much more than the toaster it’s billed as. I have been able to cut my cook time in half, and while doing so am not using the energy to heat up my regular oven. I took my time in writing this as I really wanted to put it through its paces. I’ve used it for cookies, a chicken, French fries, and even baked fish. This oven is amazing and it’s portable if your the outdoor type, or like to tailgate it’s a must have

Versatile and great addition to the kitchen

This oven proves to be a versatile addition to any kitchen. Although it sports most features from the average high-end toaster/oven, it has fine tuned the features by offering a greater range of options within each setting. When cooking pizza for example, you don’t just set it to ‘pizza’ and hit start. There are extra options to set the size of pizza, whether its frozen or fresh and the thickness of the crust. For the ‘toast’ feature, there are options to set how many slices of bread and how much browning you prefer. A perk that I like is the extra layer of glass on the door to keep the heat contained within the oven and it doesn’t get as hot as past toasters I have owned. This oven will come in handy when I don’t want to turn on the traditional oversize oven just to cook something that will fit in the De’Longhi. With all the features of this oven, I recommend it.

The oven is sleek and well designed. The presets have been spot on so far, pizza and cookies were easy and it's nice to work with an oven at counter height - our traditional oven is lower down and a pain to check on things. It fits well with our decor and kitchen setup and it's been fun to try the recipes in the manual.

Superb performance. Knobs? Not so much.

I've had this item for about two years and in terms of performance it's top notch. Heats up fast and is a solid unit. Well built from the ground up. Also, it's heat dissipation is first rate as it never emits enough temp to cause any concern and I've never been burned by the glass or top.
My only gripe, and it's a gripe, is that the button layout, even after two years, is confusing and un-intuitive. You would assume the top dial is for function. It's not. The bottom dial is. Let's face it, the first thing you should select after loading the oven is the function. Not the cooking time. Instead, the cooking time is the top button. Doesn't make sense at all. I'm constantly having to flip through the dials a few times to get the settings correct. The proper design should have been: function, temperature, time. I want it to do this, at this temperature, for this long.
All in, it's a superb unit and I would buy again, but someone wasn't thinking when it came to the layout of the controls. YMMV

Error in Product Listing

The title for this countertop-sized product listing incorrectly states this oven has a 25.4 cu. ft. capacity, which would be as big as a refrigerator. However, the product specifications below state the correct size of 0.8 cu. ft.
