Loved it at first...

Not sure if I gave it enough of a chance but being that it was so expensive I felt it should be excellent coffee at all times. I don’t want to say it isn’t worth it because there is always a chance the machine I had was defective or maybe there even was a fix for it. To be honest I felt for that kind of money I shouldn’t have to fix anything that early on. I will still recommend it because it did have great features and delicious coffee in the beginning.

Expensive but worth it

I decided to try a different brand. Since there a sale at BB I bought the DeLonghi. It makes very strong coffee and the espresso frothens milk very well. For the price point I would expect a hands free operation but that is not the case. The coffee beans have to be constantly pushed down the grinder upon hitting the Brew button, I would have expected the beans to go down the chute by itself. Per the manual all this is supposed to work automatically but it doesnt, I just hate having to do this every day. For such an expensive espresso machine this manual step is just unacceptable. Hence a 3* and I will never buy this product or recommend it to anyone.

De'Longhi - Espresso Machine

The period when I could return it I was in another city on vacation....then I was able to drink my favorite latte 4 times and that's it ..the Espresso Machine stopped working !!!! Best Buy said that I should call the manufacturer(in Italy it turns out!!)I need to pay a loan for this coffee machine for another year and a half....but it just doesn't work...I'm very upset that I bought it !!!! '

Near perfect machine

My only complaint is no way to add more frothed milk other than holding down a button to override, there is no suto level setting. Also, no setting for frothed milk only. Really have enjoyed the machine overall.

I love it. High-maintenance though. There's water filter for softening water hard-ness. And it has its own de-calcification schedule. But at the end I started to deliberately use distilled water only, so that I can forget about all these stuff.
