Our disappointment came mostly from the frothing system. You don’t have any control over how long the milk would froth or adding it to your drinks. Actually overall, the functionality of this machine is greatly limited to just a few drinks. I want something where I have more control over how I later them and make them. If you were looking for a basic cappuccino or latte, then this machine would be adequate as it literally makes the drinks. But again, I need to be able to have more creative control.

Continually auto cleans after every cup and you have to have another cup ready to put under it. the beans do not feed properly in grinder so you have to lift lid and move them around but it does make a great cup of coffee.

Dependable espresso machine
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have researched several super automatic espresso machines before purchasing this item and did own a DeLonghi semi automatic one before that lasted for five years, still runs good, the pump has gotten weaker. I did buy Saeco super automatic from Seattle coffee gear and it arriveed dead, returned it and decided to buy from BB with 2 year ext warranty. Reliability on the super-automatic is questionable I have seen 50-50 Reviews and most of them complained that it broke in the first one to two years of purchase and some said it lasted 4 -5 years. The best part is BB replaces/fixes it, the minute it breaks unlike other companies offer extended warranty that kicks in after the manufacturer warranty expires. Well getting back to this machine so far it's been running pretty good and with the little bit of regular maintenance I expect it to last long. Makes a decent cup of espresso and latte (definitely better than Starbucks if you pick the right beans) and I would not recommend using flavored beans as that could clog your grinder. I tried different coffee settings and also the grinder settings that you can adjust to your taste. Espresso lovers, here is a good news it makes perfect espressos as well just had to pick the right beans. Try running hot water cycle before the first coffee for the day, which basically heats up your machine. Had it for 4 week so far and I've been pretty happy with the purchase and will update my review after a couple more months of use. I definitely recommend buying extended warranty on these machines given how notorious they are for pump and grinder failures, and relying on manufacturer warranty could take months of waiting to get it fixed. By the way this is one of the newer models that was released May 2015, got it for a decent price with BBs 20% off appliance deal
