So for several years now I’ve had a manual machine for my espresso. I think after a few weeks with this, I still prefer the manual kind. This *is* a good machine, after adjusting settings and water amounts, and other such things, it really can make a nice cup of espresso. It can’t however seem to make espresso like I’ve come to like to make it on my manual machine. I usually make mine pretty strong. I don’t mind the “extreme” flavor. I’ve got it to where it’s still pretty smooth. This one makes a fairly strong espresso, and it tastes fine. And my kids like the lattes I can make with them. I certainly don’t regret buying it. It makes it easier for my wife to make coffee when I’m not at home, it really is just a few button presses. If you’re a coffee snob, I do think this can be a nice product. Once you get it dialed in you’ll have a “oh, okay this is nice” kind of experience with it. It helps that it gave me an excuse to to my old machine to work so now I have espresso there. All in all I recommend it. Just be prepared to no longer have control
