Loudest Espresso Machine Ever!

Our old one finally died, so we decided to pick this one up. And let me tell you, this thing is LOUD. So loud that the wife suggested I return it, which I did the following day. I will note it made cafe just fine. But the racket it made was just not acceptable imho. We ended up getting this one instead: https://www.bestbuy.com/site/capresso-steam-pro-4-cup-coffee-maker-and-espresso-machine-with-milk-frother-black-stainless-steel/5819398.p?skuId=5819398 and it made cafe just as good for half the price and completely noise free!

For just one person, it is a good buy. It does what it should do. I don't have a lot of experience with other machines, but this produces a sufficient product for my needs. You need a grinder and steamer cup and glass, but I knew that going in. Just seems like it is a little hard to find nowadays. Was the lowest cost for what it is that I could find, the next level up is 50% more. Don't know if it is supply chain issues or manufacture is not making this model any more. Great Entry level espresso maker. I use it daily and have found no issues so far after many weeks. I like all the manual features.

As a coffee lover this has saved me so much money Because I don’t have to buy $5 lattes anymore. At first I was a little skeptical about purchasing a $100 espresso machine but it’s an amazing little product. I grind my own espresso with a small electric grinder and buy blond espresso beans from Starbucks. Overall the machine works great for espresso shots and the frother works. Still getting the hang of it to be able to do latte art. If you are new to espresso machines and don’t want to break the bank I would recommend this machine. It’s easy to use.

First one lasted 15 years. The second only lasted 5 (parts just aren’t as durable). Then I bit the bullet and bought the Breville Barista. This third Delonghi is for my son who is leaving for college. If it lasts a few years, it’ll be worth it. Makes great espresso and the pandarillo milk frothing wand is fool proof. Great for making milk based espresso drinks, you’ll find those drinks taste great and the machine is very forgiving. If you’re into straight up espresso, you’ll have to put some effort into getting your grind and timing perfect. Still totally decent machine! Hope this one lasts!
