I decided I wanted to replace my much cheaper older cookware with a set that had better heat control. Stuff that is made in China can use lower grade steel and construction so i wanted a set made elsewhere. This is made in Belgium and is one of this company’s top lines. I’ve been using this for a month. I had researched several brands and chose this because of the 7-clad construction and reviews I’d seen in cooking forums. So far it is living up to its reputation. I’m able to cook on lower heat and reach desired temperature faster than with my previous cookware. Heating is even across the pan and even slight adjustments in heat show up immediately in whatever liquid is simmering or boiling. Clean up is easy. This is rated as dishwasher safe but they recommend hand wash. If you cook on medium heat, nothing sticks. The one negative is that it is heavy. You will get an upper arm workout using it. That said, I’m happy with the set —it’s definitely an improvement over my previous set and I suspect it will be the last set I buy because it is well built enough to last with recommended use and care.
