My son was all over me to get this game as soon as I picked up my PS5. I wasn’t very familiar with it but after watching him play, I had to try it. It didn’t disappoint! It’s very challenging but a lot of fun. The graphics are incredible and although I’m just getting into it, the story is great and I can tell there will be a lot of depth. Great game.

Truly a spectacle to behold. Amazing visuals with smooth combat makes you feel every mistake, challenging you to chizzle at each level slowly but steadily until you come out the other side a master. Only to get thrown into another new world of horror for you to carve a new path through. It's wildly riveting. Especially if you can go through it with a friend. Co-op is highly recommended.

Amazing. This is my first time through the game and I’ve never had this much fun being absolutely brutalized by a game. Yes the people who tell you it’s blisteringly hard are correct. But...it rewards you learning and every time you make it to a different area in the same map you feel like you just made an accomplishment. Good for a challenge if you have patience to learn the game.

It took me some time to get into this game. Frustrated at first, I came back a few times to try it. Grinding a bit does make it better, but overall, amazing game with great fantasy graphics! Don't give up! I actually did at one time--sold it and bought it again. Second time around gave it more of a chance, thanks to the beatings I got in Returnal...

Blueprint are gods. Just like shadow of the Colossus, they remade the game to perfect quality. Everything from the lighting to the graphics to how they change and tweak gameplay is amazing. You’ll find at times it can show the combat is still present from the old games which can be a nice preservation but some people might not agree with it. Love the game.

Wow! I vaguely remember the 2009 original Demon Soul's, but this remake from the ground up exclusive for the PS5 is incredible. Visually stunning, no load times between worlds or levels, and punishing difficulty. If you can stomach dying several times until you "learn" how to play, this is the game for you. Very rewarding once you figure things out. A+ launch title!

Demon's souls is still the same unforgiving game but now it is just brimming with life due to the graphics overhaul. Bluepoint did a great job with this and the load times are great and you don't have to wait forever when you die and you will do that a lot. Haha. A must have for anyone who wants a exclusive game that will highlight the PS5 graphics and SSD loading times.

Visually it's probably the best looking game I've ever played. In terms of gameplay I tried the original one years ago and couldn't get into it, the same with dark souls 1 & 2. Then bloodborne came along. Bloodborne in my opinion is one of the greatest games of all time, not only because it's great on its own but I think because of how the game changes gameplay it makes you approach playing demon's souls differently. I didn't think I'd like demon's souls remake but it's phenomenal, not as great as bloodborne though, I don't know if there will ever be another bloodborne. One thing I will say is if you want the game to be more challenging do not use magic. Magic if leveled properly is extremely overpowered. Half of the bosses in the game I one shorted with firestorm. The gameplay is good but I would recommend playing more offensively than hiding behind the shield. It is needed some times but other times it hinders and slows down combat, which is why I didn't appreciate it originally and is why I saw bloodborne conditioned me to play this. I'll now go back and okay the dark souls games also. The game is very challenging though and takes patience but when you when you feel amazing. Must have if you have a ps5 and a good way for Sony to show why the ps5 is the better choice over xbox.

Played Bloodborne and love it - albeit it was hard. Demon’s Souls is just as hard. No rushing this game. Take your time to learn the deep configuration of items to use in your arsenal. Plan on dying frequently! It’s just how you play the game. Graphics and atmosphere are simply stunning for a launch title. Looking forward to what more I can do (aside from dying). :)

There's nothing even remotely negative to say about this game. I'm a major gamer, but I've never played a Dark Souls series game before, but I'm so glad I picked this one up. While it may be hard sometimes even for someone who plays games similar to this one on the regular, there is always a way to progress and get further into the game. 9.8/10!

Demon' s Souls may be frustratingly challenging but it's very addictive. This was a nice game to try on the PS5. It's a must have for any Souls fan. The graphics are beautiful.

If you like dark souls you’ll love this one. I wish elden ring had graphics like this. Only downside is that the story is short.

One if the few games outhere that shows the power of the PS5. Very hard punishing game, i'm sure you guys know that. Yet again, the game looks stunning. If you own a PS5 and dare to take the challenge, just don't give up. Yeah you can call for back up or co-op but i say do it solo for maximum satisfaction.

What more can I say? Another classic from From Software. The remake does justice to the original. The game is absolutely beautiful. It is almost identical to the original, but have added minor quality of life changes and stuff that does not affect the experience Demon's Souls on the PS3.

Frustratingly Hard game. Reminds me of playing NES! 80’s - 90’s hard with way better graphics. Awesome game. This is my first Demon’s Souls experience and i was warned about the difficulties but I am loving the challenge. So many options. I have started new characters more than 4 times even though i can’t get past a third boss. Still super fun.

If you can get a PS5 this game is a must. The visuals in the game are jaw dropping! It is not for the casual gamer but very immersive and time consuming. If you are new to Demon Souls spend some time researching classes and be prepared to wipe a bunch before things start to click but once you get the hang of it, the game is awesome.

If you have played the Dark Souls games previously, you have a good idea what you are getting here. The game looks great and performs well. It’s a remake of an older game, so there are some changes that later souls games made that aren’t present here. Overall an enjoyable game although obviously challenging at times.

Love these games not very forgiving! If you're up for a challenge with great graphics this is the game for you! Note: These type of games are very challenging and may not be for everyone! Can't get frustrating at times but very rewarding! Not a hack and slash you have to be very calculated in how you play!

I just recently played and finished Demon's Souls on PS3 about a year ago, then I saw the teaser for this one. I was hyped! After I magically obtained a PS5, this was the first and only game I purchased. With the experience still fresh in my mind, I couldn't wait to compare the two. This is the only game I play on my PS5 that feels like a Next-Gen game. The Blue Point team created a Masterpiece in its own right from something that already is an established Masterpiece. That's not easy to do. I'm a tough critic. I've played and finished all of the souls games. But the power of the PS5 shines on this on in ways you have to see in order to believe. The gameplay is somehow better with the PS5 controller. Its tighter and you don't have as many of those weird times where you're aiming for something and fall off of a ledge or missing your sword swings completely.. A must have. I hope Blue Point receives the permissions to remake all of the souls games. I will purchase them all again, and play through them all again. You can't have a PS5 and not have this game. Period.

I have not played the original however this version seems like the best way to play it now, the grahpics are very impressive and I like that the combat feels smooth and responsive. I look forward to playing Elden Ring next!
