Excellent remake of a PlayStation 3 classic for the PlayStation 5. Great graphics, immersive controller features, challenging and a great way to start the next generation of Consoles. Having said that, I don't recommend this game to people who don't enjoy hard games as this is an extremely challenging game.

Playstation has made a good upgrade to the original version only complaints are the art style looks a little too vibrant for a world in decline. My opinion is that the ps3 hardware had the right choice about the atmosphere intentionally keeping the color and graphics more darker even with the fog but as stated this is a good example of what a remake should do improve the original game while retaining what made it belived to begin with.

I had a PS3 when they originally lauched. However I was not able to get this game, so excited they made a remake for the PS5! I can finally play it! Looks to be amazing!

I love the souls games because it really feels like I'm going on an adventure where the stakes are incredibly high and everything is out to get you. The gameplay is fun and challenging (as it should be). The performance is incredibly smooth and the graphics beautiful.

An incredible remake of the 2009 original. Every level has been remade accurately and with fine attention to details. Their is very challenging like the Souls games that came later, and does not change the balance or flow of combat in any way. BluePoint took a fantastic game and made it even better.

I never thought to see the day when this game was brought forth to this new generation of consoles. To be honest, I thought or I was expecting this game for PS4; now on PS5, it was worth the wait. I still own the original one from PS3 and it is one of my favorite games of all times. I put almost 300 hours on that game and now on PS5, I hope to bring everyone of my friends along to play this classic. On PS5 it loads incredibly fast, I was used to waiting on PS3 for the loading screen where you would see an image of one of the characters from the game, but it is almost seamless on PS5, there is no need for that anymore; I do miss those images though lol. The graphics are outstanding, I'm still in awe of how good it looks, the job Bluepoint has done with this game is remarkable. If you never had the chance to enjoy this game on PS3, this is your chance; once PS5s are back in stock that is, or if you already own one and you like a challenge, pick it up now. You won't be disappointed.

As a huge fan of the Dark Souls series and From Software games, this is an excellent remake. It's beautiful and runs really smooth. A few places I did notice some FPS drops, but that can't take away from the experience. Game is frustrating and challenging but most of all, rewarding. 10/10

A year later, this is still one of the best looking games PS5 has to offer. It is a bit challenging, especially for someone who hasn’t played similar games in the past, but it is more than interesting enough to make you to want to push through.

Amazing upgrade to an already enjoyable game. Granted its not a completely brand new title, but the updated graphics and insanely fast load times truly change the feel of the game. I would definitely put this on a top 3 list of must buy games for new PS5 owners.

Overall great game, runs extremely well on ps5 fast load times. Can’t really change difficulty, however that makes it really rewarding when you are able to defeat a boss. I’ve never played and of the Dark Souls games before and had a fun time playing. Definitely worth the money.

If you like a challenge, this is the game! I love soulsborne like games. Amazing upgrade from the original. The visuals and the story is no other.

It was great fun going through Fromsoft's original reimagined by Bluepoint Games. Games oozes atmosphere, and the challenge is very satisfying. Definitely recommend to anyone who wants to experience the game that started it all!

My words cannot describe how wonderfully bluepoint adapted this game. They kept to the source material perfectly and updated the graphics and basically entire game. This was a fantastic test to the PS5 when I first got it

The original Demon's Souls from 2009 was a game that I eagerly wanted to enjoy but never had a chance back in the day. I was always intimidated by how difficult people told me it was. Eventually, I got into Bloodborne and the Dark Souls Series. When Demon's Souls 2020 was announced, I couldn't wait to play that game that started it all. This game is just gorgeous with its Gothic background and enemies. It's a world that I embraced fully. The combat is VERY satisfying and you can feel it through the DualSense controller. As for the difficulty, I found that this was the easiest game that I've encountered when it comes to the "SoulsBorne' genre. It's not to say that it's not challenging. You will die several times but if you know what to focus on when leveling up your character, you will cut through big bosses without issue. This PS5 launch title is a must own.

First Souls game I’ve played, was extremely surprised with how good it ended up being. It can feel a little clunky at times and is extremely difficult and unforgiving, but it is extremely satisfying when you finally beat that boss that you’ve died to a bunch of times

These graphics are amazing. The game is tough. Very tough. And also very punishing. But once u get the hang of it you can get into a nice rhythm. Besides, the satisfaction you get from beating a boss and entering a new level is unlike any other.

Simply a masterpiece, just like the original, not augmented again with excellent visuals, the gameplay always enjoyed it a lot. this game is art !! Story: 8/10 Gameplay: 10+/10 Music: 10/10 Visuals: 10+/10 Personal Score: 10+ A master piece !!

This game is a must buy! Hands down, the best game I have ever played! Fromsofts soul series games are THEEE best in the industry and the gameplay experience they offer is second to none. Now that I’ve been introduced to BluePoint, I can confidently say that they are among the best (if not THE best) with graphics and design. The graphics and attention to detail in this game are the BEST I have ever seen (of course it is on a next gen console but still). It will blow your mind. All the gushing aside, if you haven’t been introduced to souls games yet AND this style of game is up your ally ABSOLUTELY get it! Once you’re hooked (which you will be) clear your calendar for the next 12-18 months because you’ll be getting Dark Souls, Dark Souls 2, Dark Souls 3, Bloodbourne, and Sekiro and if you’re REALLY lucky right around the time you’ve finished all of them you’ll be able to get Elden Ring!

If you like rpg games, this is the one. It is very challenging but satisfying when beaten. Its not a hack and slash type of game. You need to carefully pick your atacks becuase one hit from the boss can kill you instantly!

Good game amazing detail to everything. Fast load times but the bad thing is there’s not a lot of people playing online :( Highly recommend though!
