I have a Toshiba laptop for at least 6 years, & the charger was no longer charging my laptop. So I believe the battery pack of the charger failed. Over a month later, I bought the Denaq brand recommended by Geek Squad Online Chat. The original is hard to find. I left it plugged for over 1/2 hour to a completely dead battery, & I didn't get a power increase at all. All it does is acts like a power adapter. Complete waste of my money.

This honest-to-goodness real imitation charger was cheap, yes. it was. It was so bad at staying connected to my Satellite's power port that I gave up, TOTALLY, I actually went back to my Toshiba's OEM charger with a power cable with broken wires inside; it stays connected about 75% of the time - and that's 10-times better (literally!) than this piece of garbage.

Didn't Work on my computer! Took the computer to the shop. The computer was fine. The charger didn't work on my Toshiba.
