I have had this machine up and running for about a month now. It's been great. Set up was easy. It has plenty of hdmi connections. I have a turn table connected to it via the analogue inputs and with pre-amp. It works great. Once you step outside factory settings, it can be a little more of a challenge, but I rarely do this. I recommend it.

We recently upgraded our theater room and went with this receiver. We have surround sound speakers in the walls and ceiling and this receiver was very easy to set up, and sounds great. We've had Denon components in the past and were happy to see that the quality is as good as ever. Highly recommend this if you are considering it.

Awesome receiver. Started with a lower model at first but then decided to exchange for something with more power. Running a 7.1 with Klipsch speakers. Tim was the sales rep who helped me and was awesome everytime I went in for something. Very knowledgeable

Best receiver I have ever owned. Outstanding sound quality. Feature packed with many audio options including adjusting input volumes from all sources, surround sound mode from each source. Amp setup was a breeze with their onscreen setup telling you exactly what to do next and then automatically testing the installation.

I have this to power a 7.1.2 Atmos setup. It's fairly easy to use, however, I wish there was more info on their site about the different settings. I've had to visit online forums instead to learn about the unit. It produces great sound and clear audio, though using audyssey can be a bit confusing and may not get desired results without fiddling.

As advised by the Best Buy salesman, purchasing this higher powered receiver has certainly improved the sound quality of my Polk 5.1 Surround Sound speakers. Additional, sending my FIOS signal through the receiver has resulted in improved picture quality due to the video upscaling feature.

The Receiver seems to be much advanced then the preceding receiver I own.(NAD 200 Watt). The Styling is more stylish and contemporary, My NAD is more Industrial looking. It Sounds better then the NAD. The powerful moving audio surrounds the room with great sounds. The built in Wifi for network connectivity and 4K upscaling of Video are just right.

Great features, power, and inputs/outputs! Absolutely love being able to easily play music from my iPhone without connecting any cables.

We upgraded from a 9 year old receiver to the Denon. Since we had an old model without the ability for true surround sound, only stereo, we never had the true listening experience of discrete 5.1 sound. I love this new Denon's ability to display easy to read instructions and information on the monitor. The sound this receiver puts out is incredible and the choices for changing sound is really nice. I was disappointed to open the box and not find a users manual. I had to go online to fine it and to have a hard copy, I'd need to print over 200 pages on my printer. A hard copy would be nice Denon Corp. Since we just installed it 2 weeks ago, I can't comment on the longevity of the Denon products, but from what I read, their products come highly recommended. My tech guy says to make sure to see that the receiver has plenty of air for circulation around it. Cheers

I talked to a Magnolia guys, very knowledgeable, he suggested the Denon and a week later it went on sale. I always thought Denon was out of my price range, glad to have the quality. I buy everything from Best buy and I mean everything. Robert Watson

I had an old denon receiver that I loved. This was its replacement because of the new technology. Everything is so easy to navigate through. Its sound is so good and crisp. Absolutely love it!

Great AVR. I needed to upgrade to a more up-to-date system and researched everything out there. Once I settled on Denon, I went to Best Buy and the sales associate helped me finalize the sale with features to give me the best bang for my bucks. I'm extremely satisfied! Oh, setting up was a breeze too.

I bought this Denon receiver to replace a Pioneer thx select that I have had for 10 years. The only reason I replaced it was that as I have replaced components, it seems more and more difficult to keep using the Pioneer. I'll just summarize by saying that I love everything about this receiver from set-up to end use. I like the remote, I like the app based remote for tablet or phone and I love the programming options. The only three things I wish were different is: 1) The EQ is not as easy to get to as my pioneer was and without the remote, it is extremely difficult, 2) the volume setting used in each component selected through the Pioneer (DVD, CD, TV, etc.) Was remembered which was great, and 3) Unless you get it on sale, its a little pricy. I'm probably being a little picky, but when you pay more than $500 for any receiver, it's an investment. Other than these minor issues, its a solid 4.5.
