this is my first denon receiver purchased and I love it! love all the features and it sounds INCREDIBLE in my family room!

Lots of features-Easy setup-One thing that I recently discovered -Speaker ohm output is supposed to be 6 ohm but most speakers are rated at 8 ohms… I don’t know if it effects the sound but I would kind of think that it would or they wouldn’t mention it. Now I can’t help but think I’m missing out on something. Of course I discovered this way past the return to the store time limit.

I purchased the AVR 1500 . After trying it out I was not pleased with the sound . I have a dedicated hometheater room. I decided to return it and I bought the AVR 1940H. After going through all the setups and fine tuning I was very happy with the results. The sound is very clear and theater like. I don’t have a high end speakers however the sound is very impressive. This receiver worked in my setup perfectly.

I needed a powerful receiver and this is it. Tons of features at a reasonable price point.

Easy to set up & configure. Sounds fantastic when paired with Sony floor standing speakers.

Denon is my go to for audio recovers and upgraded from a previous Denon. The quality is even more outstanding and delivers clarity and punch at a great balance. The calibration tool really makes the speakers shine. The only negative is the old school menu system. Could be quicker and more up to date, it Denon takes care of the sound to where you wouldn’t need to access the menus too often. A definite buy.

Loved the on screen set up. Very easy to follow. HDMI input for all devices is a plus.

This is a replacement for a Yamaha receiver that did not support HDMI or the new sounds that 4K uses. Also was not WIFI. The Denon is great has a lot of capabilities. I am still learning how all the functions work. I find the best feature is that I can have my TV and DVD players hooked up and the receiver off and the TV still works allowing just the use of the TV speakers.

In January, my awesome Sunfire died. Since it would be WAY too expensive to repair, I searched for a new receiver. Since I still play vinyl, I wanted a phono input. The Denon filled the bill. I wish there were more analog inputs but today everything is digital. Sounds good for movies and very good playing CDs. Not the power monster my Sunfire was but, for the money, it does a great job.

Great reciever runs a little warm but pushes my klipsch 5.1 setup extremely well
