I returned it for several reasons but probably should not have. Don't think you can equal sound from similar priced soundbars. Unless you are wanting better sound in a small room from your t.v., soundbars aren't even close to this Denon. Unless you go for the Magnolia level of recievers from Best Buy, Denon or Yamaha are the only one's to consider IMO.

Only reason I give it at 4 star HEOS Is somewhat of a joke I was very methodical about set upSpeaker volume was off with a 5.1 set up Called Denon Their solution was to manually set it up through the menu on the front of the receiver works great now Could not ask for anything more in daily operation

I have not problems with this item. It sounds great. The television and speakers that we have attached to it, are not the best, but everything is working good. It has too many features to mention here. I like this receiver. I got a really good deal at this store.

Had an in-home consultation and based on my budget and needs, it was recommended to me that I go with this particular receiver. So far, it has been great. No complaints. Able to switch to my tv, to my Xbox, and to streaming content without any issues.

This receiver is really good, but they forget to think about different zones. In my house I used to use 5 different zones. At this model you conect just for 2 zones and cannot anything else to conect. I also have a second issue with my projector that is not 4K. This new model cannot support gadgets without 4K.

Denon has done it again; excellent addition to my collection of Denon receivers, provides a beautiful picture and dynamic sound quality; you can hear a pin drop and feel like what’s going on on the screen is going on in your house. You actually start looking around

Bought this to upgrade from old Receiver that did not have HDMI inputs. I liked the layout of the speaker connections and really like the Alexa integration since we have several Alexa devices throughout house. Will probably get another Denon receiver for our media room.

Bought for my husband as an upgrade to the Denon we already had that finally went kaput. He loves it! We thought the one we had was great, but this one blows the old outta the water. Very pleased. I did good ;)

My whole family loves this receiver. We have 5 speakers in the room and when we watch a movie, it sounds like the sound in a movie theater. It has an easy connection in the front for the kids to plug in their games without having to go behind it.

I wanted to kick up my home theater with new technology. The product is amazing. I knew it was kicking when my neighbor knocked on the door and said my movie was scaring my fair. I said I’m sorry but that is why I have a home and not an apartment.

purchased this for my workshop with marginal speakers. needed a receiver with output for other speakers in another room. took a while to figure out how to get them to work but was surprised how excellent the sound is through all of them.

He loved the receiver ....it was a gift, I have no idea what any of the things mean However, the pick up process and staff at the Best Buy on the rock road were absolutely horrible Also...beware of pricing....a lower price was available in store and while I was automatically given the lower price...I was concerned that it was just switched with a cheaper model, especially considering that I didn’t know what all of the details meant We would recommend the product but would NOT recommend going to Best Buy

I highly recommend this to anyone with 2 independent listening zones (ie. Inside and outdoor) if you like to control your music from your cell phone. Great quality sound and impressive airdrop / wifi connectivity features.

I had a Denon receiver that worked well for over 15 years, but I needed a new one with my new smart TV and all the HDMI cables etc. that go to my stereo system. This receiver has many excellent qualities at a good price.,

Easy to setup and configure. Many options for devices. Haven’t ran out of connection ports yet. No problems connecting to Samsung TV, Samsung Blu-ray player, Nintendo switch, Roku, Apple TV or cable.

Easy set up. Love HEOS music control from my iPhone. I can select a playlist on my phone from another room and amp comes on and starts playing. Can connect heos speakers for multi room music. Great video connect ability too.

Sounds great, works well, and will purchase another one later for our media room. Would recommend this product for anyone who wants a great sound system.
