But I'll tell you this. Everything I watch sounds crisp and clear. I've rewatched movies and heard sounds that weren't there before. It's like having your senses reawakened. Worth every penny of it.

It includes a microphone that I put on a tripod in the center of my listening area and through the initial setup it played a variety of what sounded like scratchy noises for about 5 minutes and automatically adjusted itself. I cannot believe the absolutely incredible sound that I now have coming out of relatively old speakers.

I chose not to run all my video through the receiver and instead pipe the audio for everything on my TV to the Denon via a single HDMI cable utilizing ARC. The receiver still works great with this setup and recognizes all audio formats.
